Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000's extensive range, strong performance, and ease of setup. Many found the improved signal strength and WiFi 6 capabilities beneficial, while some noted the router's large size and high price point as drawbacks. A few users experienced issues with firmware and the number of Ethernet ports. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and range outweighs the negative comments regarding size and cost.

It’s a pretty good router. The app is not as user friendly as I was hoping for. And I’ve had a few times we’re every wireless devices becomes disconnected from the network and you have to go back and reset up every device like the network was brand new.

Haven't had any issues with this router at all. I have a ton of devices in my home, close to 50, if not more, and everything stays connected. Recently added solar, and the 2.4Ghz band is able to reach completely across our larger home, through several walls, to the garage where the solar monitoring equipment is located.

I installed this router in less than 15 minutes. I have frontier for internet only and 45+ devices. I had planned to be up all night making the router swap. First I connected my Arris routers lan port to the wan port of the GT-AX11000 and powered it on. Went through the setup via the asus router app on my smart phone. Once the configuration was done, I turned it off and removed the ethernet cable from the Arris. I then went into my frontier router (for me it was 192.168.254.254) navigated to the section which showed the ip and released the DHCP lease. I immediately turned off the arris router when it said the lease was released. I removed the Arrias router and took the ethernet cable that was f feeding it from outside and plugged it the the wan port of the GT-AX11000. Powered the asus on and it just worked. No screwing around. I highly recommend this router to those who find there time is valuable. I had tried the linksys ax6000 and had problems with the 5g wifi disconnecting. I struggled with that router for 3 days and finally returned it.

This thing is a beast and a huge improvement over the buggy GT-5300. We have at least +75 devices connected to the network all the time so we definitely aren't the typical home users. I recently added a Zen WIFI 6 Mesh set to give me even better coverage. We couldn't be happier. 5200sqft home. 2 Story, brick.

Hehe, this thing does it’s job like a boss in my network! It handles gaming, streaming, and everything else with power to spare. I wanted the Wi-Fi 6e version but, well, it wasn’t available. Fits my needs and haven’t had any problems yet. The best router I have used so far!

Fast and reliable. Strong Wi-Fi thru entire home including the garage. I was worried about dead spots with 2,700 square feet and a 3 car garage. My cameras on the outside of garage (a good 50 ft away) and this router has no problems getting them the Wi-Fi signal. The Wi-Fi has to pass through a brick wall because of my router location. The location is not quite center of the house but no problem with this router. This router replaced a NetGear AC-3200 Nighthawk. Great router but stopped working well after years of service. The ASUS ROG Rapture has a great GUI to monitor activity and set up port forwarding and whatever else. The NetGear I must say is way behind in that area compared to some of these other brands. Expensive but so far nothing to complain about and if you need to mesh another router for extend range, this router is ready to go.

    Top of the line...

This is really more than I need, and I don't have any Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) devices, and haven't setup any other mesh AI routers/access points with it, but it has all that ready to go if you need all that. I'm coming from a top of the line Netgear Nighthawk, but the 2.4GHz network went out on it after 3 years, and it was out of warranty. So, Netgear lost me as a customer after that. Did a little research and decided to try this out instead of other brands. This thing is a fairly powerful computer, and with 8 antennae the signal range is amazing! I can even almost get 5GHz signal strong enough to use where I only got 2.4GHz signal with the old one. Easily connected all my devices and the setup software, and mobile app are really good. Again, probably more than I really need, but ready for adding mesh AI WiFi on the network, and WiFi 6 (ax) devices. Would not recommend for a 'beginner' or someone who isn't at least a little 'tech savvy', otherwise, highly recommended. Hopefully it lasts longer than the last top of the line one I had to justify the higher price (expecting to keep it for 4-6 years, so $450/48 months is less than 10 bucks a month, even less if it keeps working for more than 4 years).

This is the best gaming router that you can purchase. If you’re looking for the best router in the game look no further. Is it the cheapest price, no. Is it for everybody no. But if you want the best of the best with tons of extras and wifi 6 go with this one! You won’t regret it.

Recently purchased this router to ditch the Xfinity-provided gateway I had been using. My family is on the gigabit plan. Setup was a breeze thanks to the easy-to-use web portal; and since purchasing this, I have noticed a substantial increase in speed across my entire network. The RGB lighting adds a nice visual touch

I'm an avid netgear user. While I loved the rax120 it was giving me hiccups. I now doubt have the random disconnects and of course the plethora of features and customizations available with Asus router is just about unrivaled. So far so good, I've been using this thing for close to 2 months and no issues so far.

This is a monster of a router, I highly suggest this product for people with some kind of networking knowledge. The features are overkill for day to day web surfing individuals, but if you play online gaming or heavily stream this router is for you!

Excelent router and wifi, this replaced a AmpliFi device and we have had 0 drops in connections and the quality has improved to near perfection. It ain’t a pretty device, but does the job perfectly, once you set it up, you won’t have to touch it again

Waited about a month for these to come into stock. Hands down best router in the market. Wifi 6 is honestly better than I thought. I actually get my full gigabites of speed. My old Asus router lasted me over 5 years but didn't get speeds over 600mbps the new one gets constant 1000+mbps

Absolutely fantastic router. Covers my entire home with no repeaters, and my home has a weird layout (very wide, like a large ranch). The app allows admin from a phone, which is nice. I like that I can configure my own DNS, so I can control ad content somewhat.

Easy to set up. Seems like a good router. No experience with it yet. Not sure if I can take advantage of the 2.5 G port. Asus support has been decent, as I've asked a few questions that were answered quickly.
