Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000's extensive range, strong performance, and ease of setup. Many found the improved signal strength and WiFi 6 capabilities beneficial, while some noted the router's large size and high price point as drawbacks. A few users experienced issues with firmware and the number of Ethernet ports. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and range outweighs the negative comments regarding size and cost.

I've had it for about a months now and I have not had a single issue. Handles my 1GB fiber internet just fine and setup was a breeze. Just follow the instructions and you'll be set! Glad I chose this router!

This is the best router out there. I bought the other well known brand and took it back when the performance wasn’t their and it’s a known problem. This router blew it away and had it for a month and now one issue. Pricey but you get what you pay for and this will be good into the future.

This router is easy to install and the company has apps that make it much easier. We have a lot of devices and sometimes we use most of them at the same time and with our old router it was being taxed and we had a lot of buffering, but this router we have no buffering issues.

I did have some issues setting it up and called the customer service number that is included. They had me up and running within 15 minutes. My speed has increased and the ping rate has gotten better as well. Still working on fine tuning the settings though.

Sped up my WiFi and has less range than my El cheapo Netgear router, at least it works for me plenty enough unless you want the signal outside to follow your car. Looks very cool as well, I wish it was red instead of tan or blue though.

Sweet Router! I paired it with the Motorola MB 8611 3.1 cable modem. What an excellent combo! Range is the best I've ever seen. I do recommend this Router! Its a little expensive but worth it!

Super router, I think best on the market. Covers a 2000 sq ft home easily, even through sheetrock walls. Good app to go with it, very flexible. Easy to update as updates become available. Super super configurable.

Best router I have ever owned. Super fast with 0 disconnects. 3 separate bands which allows me to play my games without any lag from my family streaming their shows. I love this router and will be buying another to set up the AI mesh system.

And update to our previous router-perfect for our needs. The tv that was buffering 90 feet a few doors and walls away from the router no longer buffers and the TV on our lanai another 80 feet away works perfect! Can't go wrong with this router!

This Wi-Fi 6 router is perfect for vpn and gaming. Not only does it let you do vpn but it allows you to choose which devices are vpn protected. It also allows multiple vpn providers to be added as well (up to 16 I believe) and is packed with so many features.

I had a NetGear X8 that was unstable (but it mainly would not support the 60+ wireless devices at once), along with a small router hard wired downstairs. I replaced the NetGear (which had good signal), with the Asus since it would handle MORE devices and everything is running smooth. I also disabled the radio on my downstairs router because of the interferance and got faster overall speeds. I heard setup was complicated but I thought it was straight forward. I named the network the same as before and all but a few divices worked immediately. A few items had to be turned off and on--but overall it was seemless. It's not much bigger than my NetGear X8. The price for an AX11000 "tri" router was the same as NetGears non-AX11000 dual. It was $150 less than the equivalent NetGear AX11000. It wasn't on sale (not even during black friday or cyber monday), but I did get a 10% discount birthday coupon which saved $40.

I was an early adopter of Wi-Fi and have gone through many different routers from different brands and there has not been a single one that I’ve been truly happy with...until now! I’ve been very impressed with this router. Now with COVID both my wife and I are working remotely while my son is playing games. We’re all streaming video and using PCs at the same time and there have not been any issues at all. I’m used to having to restart my router at least weekly, but I have yet to have to do anything. It’s held up to everything we’ve thrown at it. I guess my only complaint is that they’ve already announced a new update to the standard (6E) so I guess it’s already outdated.

Instant upgrade from the CenturyLink router that was provided. Had to do some research for bridging, then removing the old CL router completely. Went from getting about 100MB/sec download and 12MB/sec upload to 600+ download and 220+ upload on wireless. Getting about 1GB download hardwired. Speeds vary in different parts of my home (2400 sq. ft. and three levels). Going to the furthest room on another level, I get about 300 MB/sec download and 50 MB/sec upload. No WiFi extenders or other routers working as a node. Easy app setup from my phone. Love the included free protection, too. My only concern so far is the very large footprint, at nearly 12.5" W X 12.5" L, assembled. I am receiving a new gaming rig next week and will really put this to the test with the dedicated 3rd gaming band.
