Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000's extensive range, strong performance, and ease of setup. Many found the improved signal strength and WiFi 6 capabilities beneficial, while some noted the router's large size and high price point as drawbacks. A few users experienced issues with firmware and the number of Ethernet ports. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and range outweighs the negative comments regarding size and cost.

    BIG BOY ROUTER

Got this as my previous router was giving me stutters in League of Legends. When you're as hardcore as I am (Silver IV btw), you know that you need the best internet to int. That is why I pair this bad boy with a gigabit plan from Verizon that I definitely did NOT overpay for. If you want to be able to watch yourself miss skillshots with 18 ping then this is the router for you. Also, you can feel superior when you see your loading screen boot up faster than the rest of theirs.

    Good range but needs work

Range is very good with the 2.4 from center of house on second floor the signal was still usable at close to 300 ft away and the 5G about 150 ft away outside (tested with a LG-V20 cell phone. ) Support is a bit lacking but they say for life of unit. Every phone call is we will get back to you in 24 to 48 hours and then it is a email. In my case the router was having problems staying connected when going for one band to another, And the problem report that the router is supposed to to email back to ASUS did not work (They gave no fix for this) but had me send the info it should have sent on it's on to them. I did so and seems they do not speak among the different techs as the answering tech ask for the same info sent to the first tech. and now 4 or 5 days are gone. The third tech sent an email with some fixes by email and had me disable the AX setting and a few more settings to make the router into an "N" and below type router. I was running two desktop computers and this "fix" had the computer using an ASUS network card PCE AC88 to be able to switch between network bands. However the computer using an Intel AC 8260 network card still had the problem. (There was a note when opening the router box that said some Intel network cards might have problems and mine was one of them listed) I did call ASUS before trying to install the router and the tech that answered assured me that there would be no major problems. Being the router was now no longer an "AX" capable router and the email for problems in it and the router still had problems with the Intel card (My printer is on 2,4) and my best internet speeds for close to 300mbs is on the 5g networks. I returned the router within the 2 week return time and bought the Netgear AX-12. (It so far has worked with both computer network cards (plus others) One more note on the AX11000 is it does have a lot of setting but I could not find all the info in the manual for the router to check if they were set up the best. To sum up, the range is good and about the same as the Nighthawk AX-12, longer support than Netgear (only 90 days) But if I have to disable the AX who is to say it will be working when AX cards come out and at this time I lost the "AC" also. Brake down of ratings: QUALITY 2 because of the "troubleshooting email problem and the lack of working well with " Intel network cards" VALUE 1: Very expensive "N" router. EASE of USE 2: Needs better info on all the settings and tech support needs to answer problems over the phone in real time.

Replaced a year and a half old netgear nighthawk tri band that continually dropped speeds back and forth on its channels. Once I got this thing up and going it blew the nighthawk away. On its best day the nighthawk couldn’t deliver half the speed the rapture does from across my house. I don’t have the ability of placing my router in a central location so it’s literally 3 feet from an outside wall and my recliner is 3 feet from the wall on the opposite end of my 1500 sq ft home and I can get 370+ mbps from xfinitys 400 mbps package!

I needed to replace my failing Nighthawk X10. I will never chose anything but ASUS from now on. I replaced my ASUS RT66 with the X10. Saddly you only get 90 days of free customer support with Netgear. I wanted an ASUS, but chose another and regret my decision. So I back with this and I am happy an wish I would selected ASUS before. Support is great warranty is 2 years and the product is one of the best.
