Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000's extensive range, strong performance, and ease of setup. Many found the improved signal strength and WiFi 6 capabilities beneficial, while some noted the router's large size and high price point as drawbacks. A few users experienced issues with firmware and the number of Ethernet ports. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and range outweighs the negative comments regarding size and cost.

I just purchased two of the ASUS ROG Rapture AX11000 and use one as an aimesh node with the other connected to the modem for both ends of my home. It gets great speed, but then at least 4-5 times a day, my speed will go from 600+mbps to 1-2mbps. I tried everything I know to do for the last 3days. With this virus pandemic, I can’t get a technical support on the phone or online, so I’m boxing them back up to return and go with the Eero mesh that the sales guy recommended in the beginning. 2 stars because when it’s working, it’s great.

I have been running the AX11000 for a few months now and it is a great workhorse. My home is 3400 sq/ft and I have good coverage. Of course, close to the router is faster but for what I do, it works great. Easy to setup. Stop paying the rental fee, to your service provider, for an inferior router.

after 6 months it's still a solid setup. I have 2 of them running mesh. I do have to reboot the main router once in a while to restore a connection. Not enough of an annoying to get something different

The Router is powerful and i would recommend it for homes with over 15 + devices, especially if you are running streaming services with Roku or others. The WIFI speed and WIFI coverage is amazing. In a larger home up from 2000 sf or higher i would recommend this product. If you have an older Asus router you can also link it up to extend coverage further with AiMesh.

Was using another ASUS router for the last year that was dropping the 5G signal constantly, and fortunately had a replacement plan so I thought I could not go wrong with this little Rapture beast. So far so good, no flaws detected and the transition was a breeze with the settings backup feature, plus now all my home devices show full signal as far as the backyard goes.

The device hardware features on paper are amazing. However, it did not perform as well as I thought it would. For my home wifi environment, I was plagued with constant drops of my smart home devices due to distance problems, router firmware issues, and configuration losses--due to router resets. Until Asus upgrades the firmware to be stable with the hardware specs, this device is like any other router. I had high hopes for this product. If you are using the smart home device of +40, I would look into a wireless mesh system. In today's thriving smart-home IoT environment (ovens, refrigerators, smartphones, laptops, echos, etc.), the traditional single router for home wifi is no longer relevant for the purpose.

Rock solid. Had tried an earlier version of this router and I had issues with it needing to be rebooted every few days. Same with a high priced Netgear. This one however has been great and paired with 2 AIMesh satellites and I finally have no home internet worries. Highly recommended, especially for power users.

Works great no problems, easy setup and installation great service and strong connection everywhere in the house. Not sure how it compares to the ASUS 5300 but this router works great, price is on the expensive side but you definitely get what you paid for. Works great with 1000+mbps or 1gbps speeds.
