Love this router. I had ping in warzone in the 60s-80s constantly rubber banding. Now it’s in the 40-60s for the most part and hardly rubber banding unless it’s a server issue. The WTFAST is exclusive to certain games.

When I first got the router up and running, I had a lot of dropped and failed connections on multiple devices. After I found the firmware update and installed it, everything seems to be running smoothly.

We’re a typical smart home in progress - lots of devices connected 24/7. We have a 1Gb Internet connection, and this gets us very close while wired, which is nice to finally use. Since plugging it in last month, we haven’t had any issues with it.

I upgraded to this from an earlier Asus router. It has been good so far. I miss the DNS feature the old one had. The feature would update a public DNS when my IP address changed. This new router does not seem to have that.

Excellent router especially for gamers who want flashing lights and "gamer" looking router to match their gaming PC/laptop. Tri-band -2.4ghz, 5ghz & 5.2ghz is overkill for most people. This is truly a gamer router.

Needed an upgraded router to accommodate all my families devices. Have about 10 devices connected at once and can still stream shows on my TV with little to no buffering or distortion.

Compact router with description claims you will need nothing more because this one does it all. The price was reasonable if it does what is claimed. A great tool for my new house. My expectations are that it will function as claimed.

So I have comcast 100mbs speed but with my old system i only get 80 and just for lees devices... this new one give me super boots to my devices and network... has an app to manager who is connect, traffic, limit others, and a lot of options more

Owned for over 5 months now and no problems! WI-+FI all over the house! Updates easily (my last ASUS router, not so easy) With multiple phones, gaming devices pc's and I pads floating around, have not heard a complaint from anybody in the family!

I started out of these as a standalone wifi6 router. Management and setup are very easy and straightforward. However I have had some issues with the antennas. The antennas can be easily broken which In turn degradeds WiFi stability and the distance at which you can maintain stable connection. I actually ended up purchasing 2 more of those units to use in a 3 node wifi mesh before realizing my issues were related to 3 broken antennas. The units are pretty amazing otherwise

Let’s face it this isn’t your basic router that most people need. But if you have multiple devices and are streaming multiple 4k, this is the beast you want. It may be overkill for your home network, but well worth it.

so far so good; I have insane download numbers, however, the upload numbers aren't that good - still looking into this as it may be operator error and not the router.

I had issues with my last router and the ATT gateway. I am on their 50 meg plan but was only getting 20 when I went through my router instead of straight from their gateway. This router fixed that and more.

If you’re looking for everything you need and more, added with overkill ontop of that. This is the router for you! It does everything you want and then some and the distance is amazing.

The mainstay for those who want gaming as a superior tool for bandwidth. I have another 5400 series that I use with the mesh media bridge that works well too. I suggest a 10gb Ethernet card and set the large frame for fastest lan throughput.

If you pay for gigabit speed you should invest in a capable router. This router is the best in the biz. Nighthawk isn’t even close. Ran 887mb/sec using the lan game connection and have hit 1gig off peak with xfinity. Love this router.

For the price you should be able to contact outer space. This one is in and out constantly.

Great router, works very well. I like having a real reset button on the router as well as being able to reset and program the router with my smartphone.

Great router, although it would not let me use a password I wanted and the wifi range no better than what I had. Also, only 4 Lan ports instead of 8.

Lots of ways to tweak but could never get more than 700-750 download on a gig internet connection until I swapped this for a Netgear Nighthawk RAX120!
