This unit increased the strength and system through my mesh system.

Excellent traffic management, super WiFi coverage and no dead spots in a 2800 square foot home.

I've spent literally DAYS on the phone with Geek Squad, on the phone with ASUS support (I use that term loosely) and even on the the phone with my ISP and everyone came to the consensus that this router is garbage. Bottom line this is an awful product for many of the same reasons mentioned in other reviews. In my case I could never get over 250mbs with a 1gig service on top of all the other connectivity and range issues. Going tomorrow to do what I should have done in the first place and swap this glorified paperweight for the Netgear Nighthawk. DO NOT BUY!!!!

Good wifi range as expected

This past weekend it died..what a waste of money. This is my second Asus router and I will not purchase another.

Dual Wan unstable. Newest firmware is no good.

The AC-3100 is more stable than this one. The Aimesh does not work properly on the new firmware, it is not allowing me to add more nodes, the button stopped working! This is my 5th Asus router and I have a lot of issues on this one. AC-1900 is the best one I have used so far (now an Aimesh node and works perfect).
