Router frequently drops wi-fi clients (several times during the day). Very unstable wi-fi connection with variability in connection speeds. May be sitting next to router and connecting at 1 mb/s. Trying reaching out to customer support and I get referred to Geek Squad. Geek squad wants me to pay to have router serviced - ASUS 1 year warranty is no help. Firmware update has not rectified problem of dropped wi-if clients. Going back to my RT-AC68U ... better than the piece of junk that is AX11000 Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this router

I wanted to upgrade to 802.11ax although none of my devices supported It yet. Therefore I am not sure if it’s any faster. Signal is good. Software is subpar as DDNS and OpenVPN would not support a double NAT. My prior router AP had no problem with it. I had to purchase a public IP from my ISP for a few extra dollars monthly to resolve. it’s good hardware though.

WiFi calling in iPhone doesn’t work 2. Constant connection drop outs 3. Unreliable speed, sometimes get up to 570 mbps speed and sometimes less than 2 mbps, five feet from router. 4. ASUS support site says talk to geek squad support since I bought it from BB. Not worth the money, I bought two of them and used It in AiMesh mode. Returning it tonight hope Best Buy takes it back.
