Speeds are marginally faster, but it drops wireless at least 4 times a day. The management software is incredibly difficult - still can't figure out how to create a static local IP for my devices that would work better in that mode. Also, despite being within the footprint of the square footage this router is said to cover, I had to get an extender. It's too late now to take it back to exchange, but if I could . . . I would! I don't know if I should be wary of the AX routers or just this ASUS AX11000 router.

Security system technician tried 2 hours to make the ASUS router work. ASUS customer service (hard to understand) keeps asking me to fill in forms. Even though all information was previously supplied in an email to them. Also, they asked me to make technical adjustments in computer terms I do not understand. Router includes a program that sends all of your internet use information to Amazon, which I do not like at all. not using this spy program then stops other router benefits that you pay for. Expensive router is very disappointing.

Home not good specialty if you have a basement or second floor.
