Customers appreciate the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000's extensive range, strong performance, and ease of setup. Many found the improved signal strength and WiFi 6 capabilities beneficial, while some noted the router's large size and high price point as drawbacks. A few users experienced issues with firmware and the number of Ethernet ports. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and range outweighs the negative comments regarding size and cost.

I run my own IT business out of my house, and I currently have the Linksys Velop System in my house. I have no problems with the VELOP system but I just recently upgrade to 1 Gig Service was only getting about 600 megs through the VELOP system. After reading about the new technology involved in AX I wanted to give this device a try since it is one of the first on the market and ASUS has been known to make great wireless routers in the past. This router is not one of the great ones. MY wireless router dropped connection about every 24 hours and showed a ton of errors in the logs. The only want to fix this was to reboot the router manually or wait about 3 to 4 hours and it would reconnect on its own. I have sent those logs to ASUS to check out. I also wouldn't get over 30 megs being about 10 feet from the router on 2.4 ghz. I would get over 300 on 5 ghz. It was much slower than my VELOP system. I took speedtests from multiple devices in my house and ASUS was slower on every one of them - sometimes 50% slower. I wouldn't recommend this router at this time. It is a good possibility in the next few months that a firmware update with fix this. At $450, It is highly overpriced and doesn't do what it promises.

Best router i ever had so far
Price not to expensive . Wifi 6 support with wide big range and good wall penetration wifi signal.
Just a lil poroblem while using manual port forwarding sometimes the internet completely gone and its back whenever you turn off the port forwarding things ,dont really need prt forwarding unless your game server is in different country and you have a good internet speed too.

Moderna with satellites still might did better in big houses or old houses with obstructions.
Overall, a big improvement over the AC5300! Longer range, faster speeds. But antenna positioning is important at longer distances. I only wish they stayed put where I want them. They aren't BAD but sometimes they fall down a bit.
This is very worthwhile, especially if you use a VPN on the router itself!

I have had this system for less then a month and it is a replacement foe the ac3100. This system is awesome I cant say it much more then that. If you want the best speed possible this is your system. If you want to regulate who gets the best speeds this is your system. I am a gamer and my wife watches her shows upstairs between the two of us we Wore out the ac3100. Since the upgrade I don't see any lag and she doesn't have any issues with her Netflix and hulu. With the 3100 she would have some lag and i have seen lag in my games. While it is expensive its worth it to me.

I tried many wifi 6 routers before settling on this one. This was the most stable and gave constant high speeds on wifi 6 through my 1gb fiber connection. If you are tech savvy and a gamer, this is it. While there is Wifi 6E version available, most of the devices out right now don’t support it.

I love this router! I ended up buying a second one and configured them in mesh-mode, which is does effortlessly! My entire house now has full coverage. This thing is PACKED with features (internal and external vpn, ddns, lifetime subscription to trend micro protection, I’ve owned every high-end router that you can think of, and if you’re tired of your sweet Nighthawk router constantly failing, give this one a try! I love it :D

Bought this as primary router paired with an arris surfboard 3.1 doc cable modem pair made in heaven. Added an ax6000 for an aimesh node. pairing and setup was great getting another ax6000 for second node. Yes it’s pricey but well worth it to me. If coverage and ridiculous speed are your concerns, the I can’t think of a better combination. I power a 16 cam 4K steam security system as well as all the usual smart equipment, phones and tablets no problems with bandwidth consumption. Am streaming to and from three different buildings within five hundred foot triangle very consistent WiFi strength

It has two 5ghz bands and one 2.4 ghz: both support wifi 6. The wifi transfer speed is great. The firmware is a hit or miss. The reason is that some firmware was dropping one 5ghz connection. However, the recent firmware fixed it. Good reception the router.
The bad thing is that it does have 6e support which adds the 6ghz band. I would get this again just to create a mesh network, but not needed right now. Another con would be the turn off wifi button could be clicked by accident.

Fantastic Range & Speed. I had the Netgear RAX200 AX11000 before but started having major issues after Netgear broke the router with firmware updates. This ASUS is Amazing, interface is easy to use & understand. It's extremely fast and the wifi6 helps save battery life on other wifi6 devices. I would recommend this for the price it's range is un-matched.
I get signal half-way around my block, my nighthawk would drop signal at the beginning of my driveway...this thing is quite amazing.

Big upgrade from Linksys EA9500

Upgraded from a linksys ea9500. Night and day. No drops, Never have to reboot (I have it set to auto reboot once a week). I tested out two identical speed tests on both routers in a problem area of my house - I was averaging 150 mbps with the linksys and averaged 350 mbps with the Asus. I maxed out the link sys around 500 standing next to the router and got up to 600 with the Asus. The tests were done on an iphone 12 pro max.

Set up was easy. Router has been very reliable. Firmware update without any problem. Had the G3100 from Verizon replaced initially with TP link AX 11000 but router keeps dropping signals even with my IPhone. Replaced with this router and so far it has been a month without any problem. WiFi Signal strength has been flawless. Totally satisfied with this router. A little bit expensive compared to the TP link but what good is the price if it doesn’t work.

I have two GT-AX11000 routers in an AIMesh configuration with a CAT6 backhaul. The wired backhaul keeps 100% of the wireless bandwidth available for wireless devices. The mesh network fills in a couple of weird dead spots that I had (happened with other routers too) and also allows for hard-wired connections for my entertainment center downstairs and in my office upstairs. I have a 600Mbps Comcast connection that regularly gets between 8-900Mbps. My wireless devices are getting right at the same speeds as the wired desktops. My home is a 2500 square foot two-story on a third acre lot and I have solid 5GHz WiFi 6 coverage in every corner of my house and yard. I was amazed at how many devices we have on or network when I counted them up. (which is easy to do in the router's interface) Between TVs, phones, pads, laptops, Roku/Fire sticks, multiple Alexas, Ring devices, Apple watch, DVD/BlueRay - You get the idea... they really add up! We will often have streaming on multiple devices, browsing and gaming all at the same time and these routers handle it without a glitch. TBH - I know that the setup I have is overkill and I could have built out a solid network for a lot cheaper but it happened in stages and just grew into what it is. I really wrestled with buying the second AX11000 when I knew that other, less expensive, Asus routers would have worked just fine. Now that it's done however - I couldn't be happier with the performance and feel good about having a network which will last well in to the future

Coming from the ASUS AC88U to this AX11000 is big difference, range improved for everything, and i am able to use one 5g band for my cameras and the other one for gaming and exclusive devices. While the 2.4 band keep my smart lights on all the time. First thing is firmare update and boom.. it is pricey but worth the money. Good features and parental controls to keep my kids safe. Has 5 ports one 2.5 gig and 4 1.0 gig. Should last me 3 to 4 years till something better comes out.
Despite all the bad comments I had no problems at all.

I researched this router thoroughly before making this purchase and it has proven to be exactly what I was expecting in terms of performance. My internet speeds were increased dramatically both wired and wireless. I am now able to stream 4k videos to multiple devices in my house and be gaming at the same time. I am not aware of any other router with equal capabilities and this one is already set up for the newest Wi-Fi protocols. So, I will not need to think of an upgrade for the foreseeable future.
