Just look at it !!! It’s look cool , i like the way ASUS Router looks , easy setup from you phone , the app is great, you have full control even if you are not at home , I didn’t have any problems at all I have 60mb/sec internet speed , I connect 3 ps4 3 tvs and 6 iPhones 3 alexes And cameras around the house all contact with no problems or any internet issues, make sure your Modem is great

I purchased this router on a split fence based on both the positive and negative reviews here. But finding it on sale made me take the plunge and the initiative to give it a try. Setup as many people have mentioned was a breeze and took seconds. Then I did some speed test analysis of this device in the same rooms same spots as when my old Linksys EA9500 was running my home internet access and Wi-Fi. The immediate item I noticed was all speeds in all locations using my iPhone XS Max increased.. I would say about a good 30% speed jump for my devices using all the same products but with just the core router replaced. That’s a huge item right there! Over the next couple of days I have continued to play with the router and it’s other advanced features. When I got into the traffic monitoring features I learned that a device on my network would just continue to use background traffic.. up to 3 gigs a day it looked like. Identified it and made some changes (iPhone location sharing for apps always set to enabled). Changed that and network traffic settled but wouldn’t have been able to see without the insights this router gave me. Overall I’m super pleased and able to have stable, fast and efficient traffic. To date (one week) I’ve only had one issue but was resolved with a reboot. I would highly recommend to others so far based on this experience and speed increases for wired and wireless traffic

The router seems to be very fast and has loads of options. The Asus router app is pretty nice as well. I was able to set the router up and update the firmware all from my phone. On the con side it is quite pricey and the router is enormous. I've owned smaller PCs than this router. So placement becomes somewhat troublesome.

Highly recommend, great signal throughout the house, patio and porch. Have 30+ devices (firesticks, phones, iPads, laptops, a PC, TVs, oven, hue lights, etc. and everything smooth with good throughput. Was super easy to configure and works much better than the Netgear Nighthawk AX8!

Recent issues caused our modem to fail and the previous router to drop out on occasion. This router lives up to the hype and is worth the money. Easy setup, but with a interface with more data than most geeks need. Some of the areas where wifi was iffy, now has great coverage.

my router stop working after 2 weeks, complete turns off after 3 minutes over and over, so im returned, im can't saying is a bad product, cuz no idea whats goin on, probably just a faulty power supply, anyway router working great, lower my gaming ping, im very happy with this router after stop working

I have been through at least 5 different routers this year trying to get decent connectivity around my house. This one solved all my internet problems. It offers decent range and the admin portal is packed full of functions. Plus having a dedicated network for gaming has helped

Zero issues with this router in 6 months we’ve owned and I think the interface-control sw is easy to use. Prior to getting this router we had drop outs and conflicts with too many nodes. Prior router was best and greatest net gear and it was intermittent. Glad I returned it for this one. Everyone now has fast access and no dropouts.

This router is a beast. It’s large and substantially built, very impressive looking. Set up was very easy and only took a few minutes. If your a gamer or just want to be confident your getting the fastest speeds, this is the right choice. I still need to spend some time tweaking the many options but so far I’m happy.

Pretty good router. Getting the speeds i paid for and then some. Some shut off, but not much to where i can complain too much. The connecttion to the momden shuts off for like 6 seconds and comes back on. Other than that its great.

The Asus Rog router is a absolute beast. This router covers my home unpstairs ,downstairs, and on patio like no other. It handles my many devices over 20 with ease. Your configuration optiions are very detailed and numerous. It has worked flawlessly night and day without a hiccup. This is a awesome router ! Nice job Asus !

Great purchase! No lag issues with 3 xboxes playing simultaneously and even the same game. 2 wireless, one wired....no lag. The signal reaches anywhere in my 2500 sqft house, even to the driveway! Nice parental controls as well as advanced QoS and other optimization options.

I purchased this router in April. It boasts some of the highest speeds and longest ranges in any single-point system, and it is priced to match. Out of the box, attaching the antennas was a tedious chore. Setting up the actual network through the Asus router app was also a finicky task that took far longer than it should. After having to restart the process once on day one and again on day two, I finally was able to set up and manage my system. Mostly. The high speed game port never worked and was un-configurable in the app or in the browser service. I was utilizing a PS4 and it wouldn’t even connect on the port let alone use higher speeds. The RGB functionality was only available through the browser despite the in-box directions saying I could manage it through the app. I did experience higher speeds, but only on my iPhone Xr. Everything else remained comparable. I decided to let it go for the short term hoping for a firmware upgrade or some insight from their customer support when I had more time. What I couldn’t let go was the face the my 2.4 ghz band would daily stop working, boot all devices off of the network, and refuse to reconnect. It didn’t stop either 5 ghz band or the Ethernet ports. But the third band was unusable, which is problematic because that is where all of our smart home devices were connected. Tiring of resetting my router multiple times per day, I attempted to execute my manufacturer’s warranty on this obviously faulty device. I contacted customer service on 6/19. They didn’t respond with the claim form for 5 days. Their claim submission process was painfully specific and required sending in 3 separate files from the router’s logs, one of which I was unable to obtain. I submitted as much as I was able immediately and they didn’t respond for 3 more days. They did however have the audacity to send me a customer satisfaction survey asking how they did solving my issue. I told them how badly they dropped the ball. Their customer care team responded the next day saying they had received my submission and would get back me in no more than 48 hours. It’s been another 3 days and I finally went and utilized by Geek Squad Protection at Best Buy. Thankfully I got my money back for the hardware, but I’m still out the cost of the warranty and Asus still hasn’t responded to my service claim.

This is a beast of a router. Range and speed are awesome. I am new to the Asus Brand and so far loving it ! Now need to look into purchasing another Asus router to play with the mesh setup. I have no need since this router covers my entire home but the ability that it provides..why not? Thanks Asus.

Whether your a gamer or have a lot of electronics to add to your network this router handles anything you throw at it. Having to work at home and 3 kids all remote we needed something wot speed and range. Also works great for my outdoor speakers around the pool cause of the added range!

Awesome! Easy setup and good granular control. I had purchased a NG Orbi 6E system and had massive latency issues. Made no changes to the modem and simply replaced the Orbi. Immediately saw an improvment.

Speeds on WiFi on the 1gig internet I have are insane. Consistently hit 600-700mbps. Streaming and gaming are all not a problem. The user interface is a little clunky and there isn't much explanation to each of the settings so if you aren't knowledgeable in all the technical "lingo" then you'll be using Google quite a bit to figure out each setting. Setting up the router was pretty simple with the Asus app but unfortunately after that I have not been able to use the app the adjust the router. It just won't connect to the router. Using a browser to get into the settings is not a big deal though. Honestly, this router is overkill. Did I need something like this? No not really but it looks so awesome sitting on the desk haha plus it has the benefits of being future proof with WiFi 6. Range by the way isn't much more than any higher end WiFi 5 router

The device did increase the speed on most of my wireless devices. Unfortunately, many of the features do not work. I had to turn off the AX wifi 6 mode for some of my devices to connect. The Enable Smart Connect had to be disabled as well. Still way overpriced!

We live in a larger house and had issues finding a router that would encompass the whole house basement to 2nd floor as well as support all of our devices. This router worked like a charm! Even better, it more than doubled the hardwired speed.
