It is an excellent IPS monitor with 1 billion colors in addition to its heritage of 255hz and 27 inches make it a great option zero flickering it is the best you can buy for a fair price I recommend it with my eyes closed it is compatible with Nvidia and AMD

Impressed overall with how it looks for games once its calibrated. Out of the box I noticed quite a bit of glow around white text in dark mode, especially when enabling performance mode. I had an astigmatism in both eyes and thought maybe I couldn't deal with IPS after. After some research I set it to 28 Brightness with 70 contrast on Game Visual Racing Mode. This really has helped and now I'm very happy with the monitor! I came from a top tier 24" TN panel and the colors / larger display on this are far superior. If you find yourself thinking you want two of these and its overwhelming, try what I did and get a small portable monitor for just having videos or wowhead off to the side. While its not symmetrical, if you do the setup right it can look very balanced.

I understand this is a newer version of the ACS from Asus' more budget lineup, and it worked well with good quality, colors, and the high refresh rate. For me this purchase was more of a want rather than a need, and for the price it was a good deal. I wanted a 1440p 240Hz monitor, and this seemed like a good candidate. However, after about a week of use I discovered a few dead pixels towards the middle of the screen. I didn't want to run the risk of dead pixels again if they pop up after the 30-day return limit though, so I returned it and did not get a replacement. Better to just wait until OLEDs are cheaper and better quality in my opinion.

It’s good for price and quality is good for gaming

This may be a OK monitor but the light bleed was so bad I had to return it. It did not have any bad pixels. I tried a second one and it was worse, it was returned also. For a ROG Strix branded monitor I expected more. Also the base frequency is not 255 its 240 but can be overclocked to 255 in the monitor controls.

To be fair, view the price, this one would deserve 5 stars... It has an incredible 255Hz refresh rate with only 0.3 ms response time. Modern games are definitely looking fine thanks to its provided vibrant colors even with an IPS panel. Powered with NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility and AMD freeSync premium, this Gaming Monitor is indeed engineered for tear-free, ultra smooth game playing or just any long time exposure while working. It works well with my NVIDIA GPU for both gaming and working requirements. Pros: - Fast speed. 255Hz refresh rate and as I mentioned above, the 0.3mS response time. Low latency motion while playing games. - High visual quality thanks to the 1440p (2K) resolution and a very fast IPS panel which is a significant upgrade over the 1080p: Sharp details, excellent color accuracy and fast refreshing game playing. - Adaptive Sync Technology with G-SYNC compatible and FreeSync Premium provided by NVIDIA and AMD graphic cards to synchronize the monitor refresh rate with the GPU's frame rate to eliminate and reduce the screen stuttering and tearing. - Good connectivity thanks to HDMI, Display Port and USB-C allowing connection to high end PCs and laptops as well enabling gaming consoles connection. Significant clarity at 1440p and high refresh rate. - Fully adjustable stand that allowing tilt and swivel with height adjustment as needed. Asus also provides an additional software that allows customizing the monitor's settings via PC instead of using the physical buttons. What I don't like much about it, the Cons: - It requires powerful GPU like NVIDIA GeForce 4080/4090 or AMD Radeon to allow over 200+ FPS at 2K resolution... Mid range PC or laptop are not getting the full 255Hz refresh capability and would not benefit from the main key aspects of this Gaming Monitor. - Slight backlight bleed (for now)... Very common and considered normal with IPS panels. This one is still having some when dark scenes are being displayed. Still ok and would get better if brightness is set lower. - For the same price you may be able to get a 32" monitor but not with the same 255Hz refresh rate... I'd recommend buying it if you are looking for high refresh rate IPS panel 2K monitor for serious gaming or high performance application. Don't buy if you are having a mid-range PC with lower end GPU. You will be missing on its amazing features.

Had to buy this monitor especially it was an open box . As for me I never worry about open box purchase through bestbuy they have the best warranty hands down !!! Great monitor

I honestly don't have any complaints about this product; it works great and looks amazing, and I haven't run into a single issue so far. I'd definitely recommend this if you're looking for a monitor for gaming, productivity, etc :)

My son is an avid gamer and loves this monitor. He said the graphics are awesome and it provides pretty fast resolution for the cost. If you’re looking for a budget friendly monitor, this is it.

Good monitor, coming from a 120 Hz IPS monitor that was 1080p and this one is 2k, which is nice
