I have heard horror stories regarding Asus Customer Service as well as read accounts of lroducts by Asus being DOA (Dead on Arrival). But, due to my impatience to upgrade, this is what I was left with. So I took a chance. To my delight, my gambit paid off. I had some issues with updating the BIOS using the flashback method, but a quick call to customer service amended all issues that I had. Installation instructions were clearly defined and at no point did I need a youtube video to coach me through it. (Which is a rarity.) I have probably about 100 hours on the noard thus far and have no complaints.

Useless DDR5 Slots

I run analyses with very large datasets and need the extra memory capacity. I have two 32GB DDR5 sticks (supposed to be compatible per ASUS website) but mobo only works with one which is a common complaint across forums. I have wasted a lot of time trying all possible configurations, BIOS updates, etc. and always end up just leaving one out in order to finish my homework. Tried to get support from ASUS but since I bought through Best Buy, I was sent to BB's useless outsourced customer service. I'm writing my doctoral dissertation and don't have much time or money, so I have no other choice.
