Mine works and works really well .As far as power it is unreal .Screen is nice ,Keyboard good , battery amazing and heat it is in check. Now only God knows the future of this machine as far as Gpu cooling goes. As you know you will need to get new ram and new Wifi card because The MediaTek card is plain garbage ,

This thing is a beast... in performance, power, and size. Every game thrown at it was taken with ease. For best performance, it has to be plugged in to use the dedicted graphics and running on turbo mode. On battery, it uses the APU GPU which is no slouch. In turbo mode, the fans will be ag max but its not too bad. In benchmark testing, it beat my desktop with a ryzen 9 3900x and 5700xt hands down. The screen is also excellent, no issues there. Also having inputs on the back is great. The only negatives would be the overall size and weight of the laptop and power supply. Seems like a bit much to be on the go often but still great as a desktop replacement machine. The hard drive is also small but easily can easily be upgraded or added onto. All in all, for the price, this is an excellent laptop.

the performance/price ratio on this laptop is amazing. can pretty much run all AAA games in ultra/near ultra quality. cooling is great and fan is not as noisy as other brand laptops. all in all, great value

I really wanted to like this laptop, upgraded ram to 32gb and 1tb SSD. I mainly play WoW, and it would dip down to single digit fps while I'm in Battlegrounds rendering it unplayable unless I switch to the lowest graphic settings. That's pretty much the only downside for me. Besides that, laptop is fine.

This was a great laptop until my graphics card failed. The laptop was very fast and had really good graphics for the first 2 months. I returned this due to graphics card failure.

Just received one of the new units (And I had an old unit that died before). The new unit came with x8 ram and does not have the video issues I experienced before. For those of you who do not know the x8 ram increases performance by 10% on this laptop (Lookup Jarrod's tech or Linus Tech Tips for details). I don't know all the details but my understanding is you should aim to get a later manufacturing cycle for this laptop to avoid the issues I had before (x16 instead of x8 and video issues).

Im moving from an Asus Zephyrus G15 3070 to this Strix advantage edition laptop. This laptop is more quiet, runs slightly cooler, and gets me at least 30% more FPS in the games I play. The all AMD laptop is slightly bigger than the zephyrus g15 w/ 3070 but is barely noticeable to me. Build quality is excellent and the 1080p screen is perfect for a 15 inch laptop.

This is an amazing laptop. Runs better than the desktop i upgraded from(3900x and 5700xt both on aio). Its very quiet for the amount of power it has. Only issue i had was with wifi connection would cut out occasionally. Recent driver update has since fixed that and no problems since.

I had some problems that made me return the machine. Sometimes when starting up a game from steam it would crash and I would be unable to relaunch steam. When I tried to restart or shutdown the laptop, it would get stuck so I would have to force shutdown. While this may have been related to an external hard drive I was using or steam rather than the hardware, the 15 day return policy didn't leave me enough time to figure out the problem. I also had an issue where peripherals wouldn't work if I unplugged them and replugged them in, but that seemed to only happen once. Aside from these issues, the laptop performed great in games (except for a very rare brief freeze which never crashed the game). While I would assume these problems are fixable, I don't want to take the risk that they aren't.

Not to bad. Faster than what Ive had before. I have had issues in The Division 2. Random restarts. Without over clocking. Settings normal. The 300hz display looks Great, buttery smooth! I will keep informed if any issues arise.

Very Happy with this Laptop. I got it for 1500$ Plus Taxes I've Using this Laptop for Almost a month and Never experienced any random restarts or fails. I owed a lot of Gaming laptops and this one by far is the most powerful gaming laptop that can run on battery for 8-12 hours doing light work with it Thanks to AMD integrated graphics You can Also do gaming with it and battery can last for 2-3 hours if you using silent/battery saver mode Only problem I had is the CPU can get a bit warm at 95 Celsius while gaming but its ok according to AMD 5900HX can handle up to 104 Celsius

My second gaming laptop and is the best so far lots of space and no lagging. Took a little bit to set up the colored keyboard but after getting it I love this laptop.

I have mixed feeling about this laptop. I thought purchasing this in mid 2022 would have got the version with better ram since the supply shouldn’t be an issue anymore. But apparently not. Please go look up this issue. This batch of laptops still come with bad ram that reduce 20% performance. So if you’re buying this please consider the cost of buying new sticks of ram. On the other hand when on sale this price is unbeatable in the laptop market even with added ram cost. Just go for a 32gb upgrade and enjoy.

This laptop is exactly what I needed and wanted. The only downside I could see for some people is the fan on turbo is pretty loud. As far as performance this laptop is a beast!

I believe this was one of the laptops that didn't have the thermal paste put on right. Ran hot even in silent mode. Couldn't run Civilization 6. Every appx 200 turns it would crash. Miss the awesome monitor though. Even in silent and cool mode would easily run in mid 90's... So I had to return it. Thing ran everything fast and smooth (when it wasn't breaking...) So... My next laptop is going to be an intel 11th gen RTX laptop. Gonna wait for win 11 to be released though. Not sure if those HP 15 omens are compatible with win 11. Thought don't claim a free upgrade to win 11... So I wait...

For the price, there is nothing that comes close to this. Ran smooth, ran cool, and the build quality is quite nice!! Only reason why I gave it one star is because it kept restarting on me and then eventually would not turn on. The first couple days had zero issues so idk what to say :( No matter how good and what an INSANE value this really is, it doesn't matter if it keeps shutting down. Once they fix whatever is going on, I'll buy it again.

What a performant laptop. Great battery life. Beating NVIDIA 3080 most of the time and all the time beats 3070.

This laptop is everything described, and at a price thats hard to believe. High end gaming in a small form factor at (relatively) low cost: easy victory. Also, 300hz is so smooth it's ridiculous.

ASUS did a great job with this AMD pairing. The internals paired with that 300Hz screen is a gaming dream on the go. Can play anything that you throw at it, and then when you want to get some productivity done it handles it with no sweat. 16GB of RAM paired with the AMD CPU and GPU is def a sweet spot for gaming and productivity. You will not be disappointed especially at this price point.

Fabulous laptop. I use it everyday. Although beware that you'll have to reset the network adapter everytime the comput wakes from sleep or shutdown.
