Awesome machine, top of line CPU/GPU combo. Ray tracing on a laptop screen is over-rated. And the price is sig less than a comparable Intel/NVDA combo.

Amazing all around laptop! I bought this laptop open box and it was pretty cheap. Runs most shooters usually play pretty well (between 95 to 120fps) and handles photo/video editing with ease! Also there is no webcam and the mic sucks, so I woulldnt buy this as a streaming laptop without additional accessories. Only down side to this laptop is the weight. With the charging brick its pretty heavy, but most if not all laptops in this price point with these specs will be heavy.

Really good laptop with outstanding performance and a GPU very close to its desktop counterpart

The Laptop is excellent! I work from home but commute frequently and this machine handled all tasks with ease. Upon delivery the box was beat up and Wi-Fi wasn’t working but when I opened it up, I saw the ground wire to the network card came detached during shipping. It isn’t perfect but checks all the boxes I need with power and usability! Definitely look online though and upgrade the RAM as you will get 10-20% better performance in any CPU intensive activity.

A real beauty. It works like a charm, it's a real pleasure to turn it on. It makes me smile everytime I power it. The screen is amazing, the ROG software is a monster platform to customize and keep everything under control. I've tried powerful games (Cyberpunk, Red Dead Redemption 2) no overheating, great performance. The machine is a real beauty, of course that the design is not like a RAZR but, still is much better than the rest of the competitors.

very good performance and battery life. i think the only downsides are bad stock ram and no dlss amd fsr should become more popular as time passes.

Absolute beast of a laptop. Easy upgrade to the stock memory and you get almost 3080 performance for $1000 less! Cant beat its price to performance.

5 stars all around. I bought this for my wifes surprise 30th birthday party. We have both been into videogames since the 90s. She loves it! Price vs Power Stryx knocks it out of the park. Ive used ASUS all through colege; they continue to make affordable and quality products. She even uses it as a second display for her work (cyber security). If you can afford it; buy it. All her friends and colleagues are jealous when she whips out the Stryx.

This is a great gaming laptop for the money only after a few minor modifications. After reading all the reviews regarding DOA, GPU problems, laptop restarting, slow RAM, along with some pictures of badly factory applied LM paste, before even turning on the laptop after picking it up, I decided to repaste with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut to permanently fix the LM issue. Then I replaced the factory RAM with 2 x 16GB Crucial RAMs. Now laptop is running perfectly fine after testing for 24 hrs of Heaven Benchmark. Idling at 40 - 45 C, Max Temp at 78 C.

Really good uunder high stress, battery is pretty solid when everythjng is turned down. And the 300hz screen is breathtaking with high speed racing games and just normal internet browsing.

Beast of a machine that can perform well due to its low requirements with an FHD screen while running an rx 6800 and ryzen 9 5th gen.

Specs are perfect for a 15 inch at 300hz FHD. Loud fans to accommodate for the 5900HX and 140W TGP Radeon RX 6800M. I don't know any other 15 incher able to handle this wattage on gpu aside from alienware m15 r4 but that was loud as well underload. Benchmarks are posted on other sources already but will sit between an RTX 3070 & 3080 depending on game. If you need quieter fans, I'd wait for the 17 inch arrival. Only real complaint is no MUX switch so internal display gaming is not the best but still best value for its price.

I bought this because my daughter broke the screen on my ASUS notebook with 3rd Gen I7 with the Navidia GeForce card I used the computer for Astro photography and run 3 to 4 programs at once with multiple cameras and control the telescope. I expected a little performance gain, but found that it takes one sixth of the time to process the image .2 seconds from 1.2 seconds and solved some of my scope control issues

Outstanding price to performance ratio with one of the best cooling systems I've seen to date. Unfortunately, like many other reviews the notebook would randomly restart without warning. According to windows reliability monitor it's a hardware/power failure. New drivers, adjusted power management settings, turning turbo mode to performance mode on the ASUS software, and a BIOS update did not fix the issue. I ultimately ended up returning the product. I still think it's possibly a driver or software issue but if it was indeed a hardware issue ASUS service department has a less than stellar history when it comes to repairs. If it wasn't for this major issue I'd recommend this product hands down. For now I'm going to wait until another manufacturer comes out with the same level of hardware or until ASUS can solve this issue in their lineup.

This is the best laptop out right now Well to me it is It’s perfect for live streaming and video editing It’s plays any games out today The keyboard lights up you can change colors on the keys I’m really happy with this purchase of a laptop I am telling every one to buy this beast of a laptop

Had it for a year everything is great but lack of USB4 and thunderbolt port is a what trouble me on my daily usage but regular use shouldn't be a problem.

Amazing laptop for the price. Out performed my desktop 3060 card. I play warzone locked at 90fps at 2k with no problem

Using cheap ram and lack of mux means this laptop won't perform to its max, and because this is a BB unit, you cannot get the ASUS extended warranty and have to get the BB one, which costs more and isn't global but have in store fixes. Otherwise, great price for the hardware you get, but you need to be technical to get everything out of this thing. Not for those who just want to drop some money and get the most performance smoothly.

This is a really nice laptop. The screen and refresh is beautiful. The reason for taking off a star is that an external monitor is needed to be able to take advantage of the GPU.

I was unsure of this laptop at first, but when I saw the price being discounted to $1499, I had to get it. I’m completely blown away from the performance of this laptop. This is my very first gaming laptop and I am very happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend it anyone else looking into it.
