    This is a great laptop. I purchased it because I needed a powerful graphic card and memory for my AutoCAD program and this laptop delivers. I'm lucky to have gotten it for this price,

    A lot of problems

    so I've bought the asus rog strix g15 and I've had the exact same problems. seems to me that it choose the integrated gfx card first and the main 6800m secondary. seems to drop a lot but now I sorted a few things I can pretty much play Fortnite 240 fps constantly direct 12 beta high settings no lag no delay and no stutters. pretty stoked ill upload a video of my gameplay to show. that's 2560x1440p as well. The problem is though I can't play performance mode for some reason. fps drops a lot of frames are bad and heaps of stuttering and doesn't clock the 6800m in performance mode which I have no idea how to fix. but yeah if you know what I mean

Consistent frame drops may be a result of your graphics setting being too high, and so adjusting them downwards could ease some of the issues.     This is a sleek computer with excellent specs. I have had no problems running any games I want to at high graphics settings and fps. I use this with oculus link and it works great.

    Returned because side by side comparison of razer blade 15 base 2060 didn't seem like a good enough upgrade. If this came with better ram, a mux, and gen 4 ssd i would have kept it. If you need a laptop rn this is it!

    I would pass on these models. ASUS brandname has been going down the drain. For the amount of money you pay for this Laptop doesn't reflect in quality control. If you have a model starting with M5 I would return since these model have poorly applied Liquid metal. Yes the laptop is pretty, however that's the only going for it. I model I received was missing papers and registration code. The fans were pretty loud even at idle. I ran Skyrim on medium and had horrible coil whine. overall I'm really disappointed

    I got the video card problem also, it only works on battery but not plugged. Looks like a vbios problem like others say. Though this is out of stock, you can return and request a back order. Hopes the new one works for me.

    It’s a nice laptop but it started acting weird after playing one game. It’s restarts by itself for no reason. Google chrome does not work on it at all anymore.

There's a possibility that there are background apps and Windows updates causing the unit to perform as it does. What we've observed with the Windows 10 operating system is that once the unit is not being used all background and installed apps including Windows updates will fire up.     fist one was faulty, awaiting the second one!

    Just like other reviewers here, My 6800m was also error code 43. Only ran off of the internal gpu. I was so excited for this. Best buy was great with returning it and now my exchange one should be here today. crossing my fingers it works. Please Asus read these comments and get us a driver fix if thats the issue. Mine seemed to be stuck in extreme power saver mode in the armour software. It cant be changes anywhere.

    I spent quite a bit of money last Christmas on presents. I was supposed to receive the points back and when I went back they were already deleted. I really don't think it's good business practices.

    Build quality on this laptop is garbage. Took it out of the box after receiving it and battery would not charge or RGB around bottom lip of laptop would not turn on. Took the back cover off; found that both rgb ribbons were not attached to motherboard and battery was not plugged into connector. Unacceptable for a $1700 laptop. After seeing this, I could only imagine how other components were put together. Do not recommend to anyone.

    Excellent gaming laptop for the price! Great video card and display. Enough RAM memory but lacking on HHD storage. This is a simple fix since SSD are cheap and simple to install.

    Top tier 300Hz screen. All AMD design improves compatibility. Good for FPS professional players run the game at lower spec but full 300FPS rate for best experience.

    GPU CRASHES, FREQUENT RESTART BY ITSELF

    Im returning this!!! I mean, it is a nice price for this "beast" of a laptop, but i had this for not even a week and i had problems with it. I only downloaded League of Legends (NOT EVEN A HIGH TECH DEMANDING GAME) and Overwatch on this laptop and use it to play those 2 for now. AND THEN, while i was playing League, it just crashed and it says "GPU failed, restarting GPU"? (something like that) then sometimes the whole laptop would just restart by itself while im playing League......i mean, cmonnnnnn it's a simple game! It's a nice laptop, but not worth the risk?

    6800m Graphics card dead, worked after only one game of CodCW. Sad cause this was a really promising laptop, And now it’s sold out. Tried every driver bios update and reset. Nothing works, device manager says 6800m reported problems.
