Upon closer inspection I was able to deduce that the graphics card, for reasons unknown, was completely dead. I uninstalled and reinstalled the graphics software several times to no avail and factory reset the computer with no improvement. The product has the potential to be an absolute powerhouse, but best buy sold me a defective product. This poor review isn't because of the product per se, but because of Best Buy's pitiful quality control check and inspection of my product before it was shipped to me. I understand that I bought the product used, but after I'm ensured that the product is inspected thoroughly before purchase and it's defective out if the box, it gives me obvious trust issues.

Purchased the Open-Box model about a couple months ago and I saw that there were minor issues with it at first but over time they got worse. Including the GPU STRUGGLING with small loads. The terrible heat dissipation, mine idles at 85C. The weird sleeping issue where it doesn't even sleep only shuts down making it non energy star compliant. The display shows very pixelated dark areas The battery not lasting an hour after a full reacharge. I hope ASUS can actually show their customers and consumers some respect and do something about this. I really wanted to like this product and was anticipating its performance but was severely let down. Do not buy this product, go for a legion 5 or 7 pro instead. I wish I could go back and not purchase this piece of garbage. ASUS you disappointed so many people including myself do something about it, people will not trust your name anymore. Do some real QC and stop rushing product off shelves, it is a scam.

For some reason it only uses the integrated GPU when using its own screen. The entire purpose of it being a laptop is the ability to use it outside your room. Shouldn't have to settle for CPU graphical performance at this price point, will swap out and keep everyone up to date.
