Avoid open-box

Tried everything I could and spent countless hours trying to get it to work but ultimately returned both of them. Maybe you'll have better luck with a new one. Stay away from these open-box G15's.

open box is a scam, defective products.

I couldn't even download warzone. Multiple freezes, and the whole keyboard lighting shut off. I couldn't use the mouse after an update and the computer vibrating with the fans. Never gonna buy from best buy again. Worst buy of my life.

Unfortunately was very dissapointed

I may be in the minority, but the first laptop I got hit 95 degrees celsius in under 5 minutes while running heaven benchmark. After exchanging it the replacement model I got didn't even turn on.

Don't buy this

However, after a week of light use, the GPU died while I'm playing game and I just couldn't turn power on. Completely black screen so I had to return this. Overall, this is a really bad experience from Asus. Don't buy this laptop!

DO NOT BUY OPEN BOX, ALL OF THEM WILL BE DEFECTIVE

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop after some research and the specs were great for the money so I pulled the trigger, but upon receiving the laptop I quickly noticed that it would constantly crash over and over, and since having it, it's crashed 10+ times at varying workloads. A 1700$ laptop should not be doing this. Returning it won't be a walk in the park for me because I have no access to any form of transportation.

6800m doesn’t work at all period

Did all suggested troubleshooting steps from AMD, ASUS and geek squad. Laptop was deemed defective and I can’t get a new one since they are out of stock. But do I even want another one considering everyone else has same issue?
