    Many Problems, Terrible Build Quality

    Oh boy, there's a reason why this 6800M that's supposed to fight the 3080 in games is sold for so cheap and is on sale all the time. My defects that yours might not have: 1. RGB keyboard doesn't work. No reformatting, bios updates, etc. worked. 2. The wifi adapter keeps failing, so only ethernet would be stable. 3. Computer also stutters and freezes for half a second every 10-20 minutes Common defects you will most likely have: 1. Keyboard missing strokes. This is a pretty common trait for these laptops and can be confirmed by many reviews here and elsewhere online. 2. The QC for this keyboard is abysmal, and typing on it feels like crap, on top of the key stroke missing inputs.

    GPU failures on 2 units

    Going on my 3rd laptop. I ordered 2 of them and the GPU's started throwing artifacts or causing Windows restarts when it would switch from the integrated to external GPU. First one stopped working after a week and a half and the second one started rebooting due to a faulty GPU on week 3. Luckily I was within my return window and BestBuy has been amazing exchanging it to see if I can find a good egg.

    Replacement cause the 1st one was trash

    I am giving it 2 star cause I tried this laptop first n it was terrible bugging, resetting out of nowhere, screen would blink and overall hardware was bad, I retuned it n got a replacement which I currently have but this one is doing good for now, I hope I don’t have to return it once again!

    The worst computer I ever bought t the begining worked but after 2 month the key bordn start give an issue that if press a doesnt work i have to press f2 plus a to work and now i do have proble that the coumputer doesnt want to charge or turn on i have to fight with the computer to turn on i went to best but to return it and the told to contact asus I m not hppy with ASUS nither best buy I wont recommend it no body to use them and i will make a youtube video explain more about

    10 minute old laptop, blue screen and stopped recognizing GPU. Wanted to love this machine but big fail by ASUS. Hope they get it worked out in a future release.

    Pretty good for normal everyday uses, but TERRIBLE for gaming! Works ok at best on medium settings but crashes constantly on high or higher. Games such as Borderlands 3, Days Gone. These are steam client games too. Gamers beware or just pass on this overrated laptop!

    Be aware that the Asus website states it comes with windows 10 pro but it comes with home. I have contacted customer support and will edit it once I know what will happen.

    Good Laptop but BestBuy Sucks

    The laptop itself is great, but BestBuy sucks! It claimed the product is Openbox Excellent with original accessories and box, but it came with a laptop literally sitting straight in a cargo box. No manual, no accessories, no original box. I chose not to return it because the laptop has been sold out. But I will think twice if I ever want to purchase from BestBuy again!

    Faulty Product

    I received this laptop on Aug 30 and has no issues with it until now. 3 months and a half later and the keyboard now ruined. Every time I type a key it displays an x character. It seems like the X key is stuck and I can't type anything freely cause it also starts type multiples Xs by itself. I bought this PC BRAND NEW and now only 3 months later its unusable and giving keyboard issues. I expected something of quality after spending around $1,600 for this gaming laptop. I will never purchase an ASUS product ever again. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your hard earned money on this laptop as I did. I will file a claim and report this to the BBB if this issue is not resolved.

    Like many others mine came with a DOA gpu. Spent all weekend trying to get it to work with no luck. Asus tech support said to return it. What a waste of time.

    Unfortunately when I first received the laptop I powered it on and no display was shown on screen so I returned it back to Best Buy and got my money back

    In had high hopes from this laptop. With all the reviews speaking about the 3080 equaling performance and power delivery via smartshift. It has got that part down. Mostly. The laptop is gimped by poor RAM so 3080 is out of the picture. This laptop is around the 3070 115W mark with that RAM. Still not bad value given the powerful CPU and price. But then it suffers from a bunch of quality of life issues. Really bad thermals. Maybe liquid metal application wasn't perfect as others have noted. Speakers keep blowing out randomly. The screen will do dark randomly and have to hard reboot. Overall, I am so disappointed that I have to return this laptop.

    asus is bad at liquid metal

    the liquid metal application is terrible, there is no sponge on the gpu either so the liquid metal very easily either lands on the motherboard and one shots it, or gets into the fans and seeps out the vents. if you are someone who plans to move this laptop, DO NOT BUY IT
