Defective and scummy

Bestbuy sold me a defective laptop and I suspect they knew due to all the other defective open box reviews. Almost missed the 15 day return period... Huge waste of time

AMD is absolute trash

Cool idea, terrible execution.

Brought Tears to My Eyes

When it came time to downloading some gaming software as well as some games, it was insane how quickly this computer chewed through them. It wasn't just the downloads, but the installs and everything else was JUST SO FAST. My custom built PC feels like I'm slogging through mud whenever I've quickly changed between them. The screen is amazing as well, making even scrolling through PDFs an HD event. It blows my mind how good this laptop is.

From the time i opened the box this was trash, i bought ram and an ssd ahead of time and the ram wouldnt work in the laptop even though it was exactly what they said would work. I couldnt gwt programs to run, 6800m gpu was doa it was running off the onboard chip it is an absolute pile of garbage laptop. Save your money or just pay a little more amd get the 3080 if thats what you want but steer clear of this pile. Best buy is fantastic for the returns and help on stuff but asus.......you suck

Highly displeased, overated piece of trash

To be completely honest I am extremely upset about this particular laptop. All of the reviews online talk about how awesome it is, and it is pretty awesome. What they do not tell you is, this series has some major issues. Display issues for one and this can be Googled. I had mine sent back to the manufacturer for a faulty display 13 days after I bought it. I was out of my laptop for ten days and it came back with the same issue.

Great but may have reliability issues

Used to be stable temps 50-60c But now all of sudden cpu overheating idling at 70-90c. Or even with low usage like just on youtube. Disappointing.

Buy Alienware Instead

PNY XLR8 3200 MHz 2x16GB sticks don't work at all. Supposed to have Windows 10 Pro installed. it doesn't, instead it has Windows 10 Home pre-installed. Basically buy if you don't want to upgrade.. Well actually don't buy at all. Garbage laptop and garbage support for the price.

All ASUS products are in compliance with industry's quality standard and each one undergoes undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections.
As long as the RAM is a non-ECC, unbuffered DDR4-3200 SODIMM with 1.2 volts, the laptop will support it.
The laptop was not advertised having a preinstalled Windows 10 PRO.

RESTARTS CONSTANTLY

Buyer beware
