great laptop for the value. a bit bulky - but portable.

Overheats if you do not have it tilted and will freeze up. But if you have it tilted it works great

I gave it a 4 stars because this is my second unit...first unit a DOA GPU best buy made it easy to get another one sent out and second unit has been great...best gaming laptop that gives u best price to performance...the 6800m tops a 3070 and can hang with a 3080 and is alot cheaper...definetly recomend...just hope u get a good working unit on your first go around.

Best gaming laptop, got it for 1200$ can play every game at max setting. The 6800m is basically a 6700xt.

Bought this open box on a deep discount and it was basically brand new. On top of that, 6800m laptops seem to be priced to compete with 3060/3070 laptops, even though they approach 3080 mobile benchmarks. Just an awesome value on an awesome laptop. Switched out the ram as per many of the online discourse regarding this laptop and saw a great increase in performance!

This is the first gaming laptop I’ve purchased and I’m very impressed with the performance for the price. It runs my games smooth even at the highest settings. I was able to easily upgrade the RAM and added another ssd card to the extra slot. The RGB lighting looks great. This is the best laptop I’ve ever owned. I’m very happy to own the Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition.

Great battery life, nice fluid refresh rate fan noise is minimal. Only downside for me is the screen doesn’t get bright enough.

Super good laptop able to run any game for a decent price love it!

I've had for more than 2 months and it hasn't done me wrong at all. It does get a bit hot due to the fans on the base side. I have it on a laptop stand to reduce heat sulking. I would give it a 5 start but it doesn't really peak 300hz at 1080. The battery takes a mad loss later down the road and there is no option to use just the AC adapter for primary power. (will drain battery while plugged in) Even then, it still does what I need it to do. Love it and will keep using it.

This laptop is so good it replaced my desktop pc with a 2070 super in it. No issues with it. Battery life is amazing if using it on the go. It is a Lil heavier then other laptops in this class. Bios settings for those that want to tinker with it is very basic in this laptop. Overall I'm enjoying this laptop.

Okey so, the reasons why i purchase this laptop was the price and the amazing gpu and cpu that this laptop offer. Other thing that you have to pay attention is the quality of the material in each laptop. This one, in my opinion, is one of the best options you can get. Otherwise, you have to make some tricky upgrades about the prediterminated ram. But after all im very happy with this product. Specially because i had to make a big trip from Peru to the States to obtain this laptop hahaha

It runs Apex and DBD very smoothly. I can game even when Im not home. Love it.

This is my 3rd unit of this model (I got the 3rd unit in Sept, 1st unit in the beginning of Aug). All three of them suffered from the same problem. This laptop randomly reboots. Sometimes when I'm casually web-browsing. Sometimes this computer reboots itself 1-3 minutes after closing a high-demanding GPU game. I contacted ASUS support and did everything recommended from updating windows and drivers. I looked countlessly on the web searching for a possible fix: -I tried updating to the optional Windows update -I turned off the RGB Keyboard lighting -I turned off Fast Start Up -I tried setting it to Windows Mode. ASUS customer support wants me to send my unit in for investigation. I'm not doing that because BB only gives you a 15 day warranty to return/exchange. I really, really wanted to love this laptop. After swapping out the stock ram this laptop runs games beautifully. You cannot beat the performance of this laptop at this price. I also love how there is an additional m.2 SSD slot for more storage options. However, I went as far as giving this laptop 3 chances. Obviously there is a deeper problem within the G15 Advantage Edition that even to this day, there is no fix. I'm not sure how lucky people can get, getting a fully functional, non-rebooting G15 Advantage Edition but for me 3/3 is enough.
