Powerful device great product ! Definitely worth it

Owned this laptop for a week and half now. I did a lot of heavy gaming for a straight week, while multi-tasking, and it maintained great performance as of now. I have no complaints so far, but there were some screening glitching during the high qualify gaming. It happened few times, and I was not sure if this issue related to the computer GPU or simply just the game application. However, once I restarted my laptop. Everything was fixed. Sound is decent, and no webcam is fine with me because its more secured. High-end performance is all I care about with an excellent good value. I'll update this review 3-6 months later. Also, I'll add more rams if I need more boosts.

Very good stable device ...i will really recommend it if you aalre looking for gaming laptop i have been using for 2 years with no issues at all...run all new games smoothly

This computer is an absolute beast for the price. The 6800m is comparable to a 3080. If you can get it on sale, its a steal. Only down side is no mux switch.

I normally don't write reviews.. I've been looking at several laptops for a while so when I narrowed it down I decide to sell off my 1440p high end mini itx setup (Ryzen 9 3900x/ 6900XT) to purchase this laptop and I can tell you I have no regrets on this purchase worth every penny.. One thing I will suggest is upgrading the ram to 1rx8 increase performance in gaming since the 2 sticks that come in it are the slow 1rx16.. I picked up a external 5Tb hard drive store my games. This laptop runs all my games maxed out with no issues and thermals are pretty good for the hardware that come in it comes pretty close to the laptops paired with 3080s

Pros: Fair Price for the Components very nice screen (1080p variant) Dissipates Heat very well Fans are not as noisy as other competing laptops (Turbo Mode & under load) Plenty of RGB 5-ish pounds is very average Keyboard is pretty quiet but responsive Graphics performance is comparable to 3080 on some titles Upgradable Ram ( NOT Soldered) MyAsus allows Battery charge control Firm Hinges Large trackpad Cons: Finger print hungry High amount of people are complaining about receiving defective laptops (Could be caused by the liquid Metal) Not the best ram nor average ram comes in this laptop (must upgrade ASAP or suffer performance losses in Games) The Speakers are not the loudest

honestly, not sure if they changed the ram but the gpu is glorious, and the ryzen 9 5900hx delivers a really good score i do recommend it

I was in need of a faster speed and more storage capacity. This computer is heavy, fast, fits my needs better than other laptops on the market without spending more money.

I got this at a great deal and I cannot believe how much faster this is from my previous computer and the graphics are cool.

So, I have not used this laptop for much (less than a week) so I can't be of much help when it comes to overall performance. I have only played NFS Heat and it handled it amazingly with Ultra settings. The packaging was impressive by Asus. They provide two other pieces to customize how it looks (the little red thingy behind the laptop) and I really liked the keyboard and how much you can customize it. There's a lot of focus on that. Customization. I have yet to find a software that can optimize games for me, similar to Nvidias GeForce Experience. If you do, the screen also makes great use of it. Good purchase.

The hardware on this computer is superb. Great performance for your money. However, I had a ton of issues with the stock windows image, and I ended up starting over with a Windows USB installer. After that, no issues whatsoever.

You've probably heard of all the bells and whistles already. And the whole of you upgrade your ram, and use an external monitor bit, so I won't get into that. -Feels sturdy -Opens with one finger -Really nice touch pad -Can be super quiet during regular use -Nice screen -Value for money is superb Would rather have 120Hz monitor with qhd but this is still nice. Just a bit overkill. No need for both imo. Nice software for managing computer. Offers all you need. Although was a bit confused with the use of integrated graphics vs dedicated. Had to tell it which to use sometimes.

Part of the keyboard stopped working after a couple of months, then the mouse pad does not detect the finger all the time. Paid extra buck for a great laptop and it has been failin.

Performance for the price can't be beat, but it's apparent that reliability issues are still a concern with this new configuration of AMD Processors with AMD Graphics. Unfortunately, a few weeks in, this laptop started to have mysterious graphical glitches, and would reboot. It appears that the act of typing was triggering the issue. With time and a little more Quality Control, this will be a great product, eventually.

This is the best laptop i have ever played on, sleek design, vibrant colors and super powerful. Only setback is that it only came with 16gb of ram which i upgraded to 32 and on 500gb ssd which i put in another tb. I have yet to play a game that max settings would not work on. Zero stutter and with a 300hz display it has smooth motion. It also came with re village and far cry 6 which are awesome high graphic games that look so real. It boots in seconds! I recommend getting a fan pad to get air flow underneath but other than that its good to go!!

I'm really having fun with my new asus rog strix gaming laptop. This laptop will give you a great performance, style, reliability and also a great battery life.

The laptop is good and works well enough. However, be warned that if you look at the Asus website, I'm not 100% sure how accurate the information is. Their website advertises this is as a Windows 10 Pro machine, "Amp up your entire Windows 10 Pro gaming experience...". It shows it in a couple places in the features section. It isn't, it has Windows 10 Home only. Mind, this isn't the main reason I bought this, but it was a factor in comparing the competition and other options. I contacted Asus support and at first they said that the ones sold by Best Buy are Home editions. I asked where I could find one that have Pro. Initially, they pointed me to their website with links to Newegg and ME2. Then they said that upon checking there are none with Windows 10 Pro. When asked what else might be different, the rep when to "is there anything else I can help you with". I'm hoping that there isn't anything else about this that Asus advertises is false.

No complaints. Was worried after reading some reviews but glad I went with it anyways. Fastest laptop for the price. Build quality seems great
