An overall decent device, suitable for gaming on external screens only, change the RAM, the storage is poor for a 2k laptop so you need a faster and Larger SSD as well. Not for mining

Absolutely in love with my ROG strix. 10/10. Highly recommend. Keep in mind the fan is a little noisy but people don't hear it over the mic while gaming.

First impressions on this computer is great you can hear fan tho but on some games it’s quite and frame rates are great and so is the monitor as it’s extremely crisp

I liked my good quality and speed. It was recommended to me for a music program that I use and it is perfect.

This laptop really impressed me but it kept randomly rebooting on me. It would typically happen after I was finished gaming. I could be playing for 3 hours and it would work flawlessly. However, after I exit the game after like a minute or so idling on the desktop it would just reboot itself. The windows event viewer shows it as a critical error called Kernel Power Event 41. I tried everything I could think of including clean reformat but it was hopeless. I ended up refunding it.

While the top of the line laptop specs are most appreciated and provide an excellent experience in 1080p gaming, there needs to be some serious quality control on the thermal application. Up to date on drivers, updates, and even have a cooling pad but sometimes the CPU idles at 60. Some games such as deathwing, DOW3, and FPS games at medium settings go up to 90C. I’ve had this product for little over a month and i would certainly recommend it, but with a couple asterisks really.

I'm glad to say...after "factory resetting" the Radeon software during the software update process, wireless PCVR via Oculus Quest 2 and the Virtual Desktop app work flawlessly! Of course, I also upgraded the RAM to 32GB before testing. Played Half-Life Alyx and a few other titles without a hitch! Great on-the-go VR laptop! (Also using a dedicated gaming router with the Quest being the only wireless device connected to it, while the laptop is connected straight through ethernet)

Good bang for the bucks. Played all my game on high quality and no issue. It does get a bit hot .. i notice CPU/Temperature is at 92C when playing a demanding game.

This is perfect for gamers and college students. There were some defective units when this first came out, but throughout time, the new units has been manufactured to satisfaction. The fans are very quiet. The RGB lights are beautiful from keyboard to below the laptop. They can be adjusted to your likings. I recommend doing all updates and drivers from not only Windows, but there’s an app called MyASUS which has additional drivers and BIOS updates for your computer which solves most of the “software issues” some people might’ve experienced in the past.

Excellent value, although you should beware that buying this from Best Buy means you don’t get direct support from the vendor, and your serial number does not automatically get firmware updates that fix a few problems with the 6800XT. You can find threads on Reddit about where to download tools and the firmware fixes for the video issues. Also, you are rolling the dice on getting crappy memory that causes you to lose between 25 and 30% performance. Some models are coming with good ram, most with bad ram. Replacement ram can be had to fix the issue for less than $100.

Love this laptop thus far. No issues with the QC thus far. Based on the serial number (prefix M6NRK) I might not have the initial batch of the laptops. I had an issue with random reboots where it would happen few times per day. After I upgraded to the latest beta version 21.7.2 of Radeon I did not have one random reboot. RAM manufacturer is Micron, which does not appear to be as slow as some initial batches, but I still plan on upgrading to HyperX Impact.

Absolutely love everything about it! If I had to not pick, it does get pretty loud in turbo mode but hey atleast my new amazing laptop won't ever overheat!

Amazing laptop it trades blows with the top end $2500 3080 laptops i love mine and i am very happy i retuned my alienware laptop for this one

Easy to upgrade! Runns all my games on max setting. Some software tooning with AMD Adrenalin and its been great so far. Hardware specs for the price are impressive.

First time trying a gaming laptop with the AMD hardware. Very fast machine and great video graphics.
