I called best buy and they got me a new computer within five days. I am very happy with the laptop and it is the best laptop at this price point.

I am getting so many more frames now my KD has gone up. At first I just thought it was a fluke, so I went back played on my old Razer laptop....frames down, KD down. The G15 has been the pinnacle of stability and has not let me down once. The screen is so fast, no tearing, no smearing, I getting flick-shots like never before. ASUS built a heck of a gaming system with AMD. First AMD laptop I have ever owned and I will not go back if they keep building stuff like this.

This is not the quality of service expected from ASUS and this is absolutely not the experience we want you to have. Have you tried to reinstall the USB Root Hub driver in Device Manager? I returned to to the El Paso Best Buy, explained the problem. They promptly re-shelved it and sold it as "Open Box - Excellent" condition. Fast forward 2 weeks, I decided to play the lottery and buy another one. This one didn't even recognize that it had a dedicated GPU. The 6800m wasn't showing up in device manager. I tried contacting ASUS tech support, the individual I spoke with had less knowledge of computers than the Best Buy employees. I returned this laptop to the same El Paso Best Buy, and less than 6 hours later, they put it on the shelf as "Open Box - Excellent". Buyer beware, this computer has issues, most likely related to the liquid metal shorting the GPU and other components, and Best Buy doesn't either doesn't care, or isn't competent enough to differentiate a broken laptop from a working one. DO NOT BUY OPEN BOX!

I have used many different brands over the last decade, but Asus and AMD killed it with this one. My unit came with 1Rx8 ram, which resolves the slow memory performance in early review models. I did remove the Intel 670p QLC nvme drive in favor of dual 970 pros that I had. I also replaced the included WiFi Card with an Intel 6 WiFi Card that has better performance.
