I had high expectations of this machine when I received it. The packaging is fantastic and feels like you are getting a state of the art product. Set up was a breeze and the BIOS Boot sound for the ASUS is slick to say the least. It immediately makes you realize, that this machine is not screwing around. It is here to provide a lagless, crisp, detailed experience. I tested Call of Duty Modern Warfare on the machine, along with X-Plane 11. Both experiences were incredible and the battery held up well. I felt comfortable while it sat on my lap and didn't feel like I was having my thighs burned. The power supply is MASSIVE for good reason. There is a clear improvement in performance with power connected but that is to be expected. Overall this could be used for gaming, productivity, and creative minds alike!

First thing I noticed when pulling this laptop from the box is that it is lighter than other gaming laptops. The Ryzen 9 and the Radeon RX6800M provide great performance for most 1st person shooter games. The RAM is a little slow, so when stock of faster ram is easier to find it may be worth upgrading the ram to improve performance. Straight out of the box, the 300hz screen looks smooth and the speakers are some of the best I have heard in a laptop. There are 3 performance modes that are easy and quick to switch between. Here are some of the frame rates I got with the stock ram: Ark Survival Evolved- 150 avg ultra Cyberpunk-65 avg ultra Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition-52 avg ultra CSGO-240 avg low The Witcher 3-98 avg ultra GTA V-95 avg My conclusion is this is a great laptop for gaming. The size and weight of the laptop makes it more portable than other gaming laptops I have had in the past. Love it so far.

Let's get to it -- the specs: - 15.6" FHD screen - 12GB VRAM - AMD R9-5900HX/BGA CPU - 512GB SSD PCIE G3 - 16GB DDR4 RAM - USB3 2A (3) and USB3 2C ports - Physical LAN port (WiFi 6) plus Bluetooth Physically, ASUS has outfitted the keyboard and front/side edges with LED lighting, which flashes certain ways depending on the activity going on with the OS. That wasn't what "got" me with this laptop. What "got" me was the fact that various Steam- and Origin-powered games ran without stutter and without flaw on the machine, something that's difficult to achieve even with some desktop machines. Is this laptop pricey at ~$1,500? Yes it is. And with that price comes definite performance. If you want a gaming laptop that's going to leave other machines in the dust, this is the one to get. Honestly, if I were building laptops, this is the one I'd build. All of it in spite of the fact that the laptop does not include a built-in camera. And for those who think third-party services on the Internet could be spying on them, at least that's one less thing to worry about ;P

Excellent laptop, been using it for 3 years now and still runs aaa games at medium-low settings, if you plug a monitor will pump your fps a little bit, love it

By far the best place to buy a laptop or any electronics for that matter. I got my laptop in 2020 and it is still going strong,anything i needed help with best buy was right there for me. Thanks for the great quality stuff. 10/10 i dont go anywhere for my electronics but best buy!!!

I have been using this new G15 Advantage non-stop for about 2 weeks now and it is the fastest gaming laptop I have ever used and I have been buying gaming laptops since they were invented. The RGB rocks, the keyboard rocks, and the screen is nutty fast. I play a lot of CSGO and the higher framerates are crazy, in excess of 200 FPS with everything turned on. It looks great and allows high level play with the best of the best. Again, the screen is incredible, it is as close to zero lag than anything I have seen before. ZERO LAG!

Amazing, I have been having this laptop for almost 3 years and still run like its new

Had this laptop for just about a little over a week now Been using it for daily and gaming use since I am travelling a lot. The performance of this laptop well exceeds my expectations. The CPU would say does run hot in the 90-95 Celcius, but I usually turn on manual load and goes lower in the 80's I've had no issues with the GPU performance and haven't fully stressed test it in a graphic heavy game, but I've been playing destiny 2 and warzone flawlessly. Max temp around 60-70 Cel Those with already defected products bought the open box and many people on reddit say DO NOT BUY OPEN, that is your gamble if you happen hence the couple of 1-2 stars My laptop was received on July 17th to Best Buy so I have the recent editions and its been running smooth ever since. No hiccups so far I personally wish the 1440P version is out, but using the 1080P with the 300hz really doesn't hurt at all. The screen is pretty bright when plugged in! Speakers are excellent for what they come with and I am coming from a Macbook pro 2018 and I love the keyboard as well since it has some deep presses Overall I am happy with my purchase!

bougth this becouse i had the asus tog zephyrus m15 the 2060 model and that model runs hotter than this one i played just cause 4 and so far on 4k it handles lika dream the keyboard is awesome if you put the asus app to windows is stays under heavy load under 83 degrees awesome machine love it worth every penny

So i love this laptop i been looking at gaming laptops and desktops i was gonna get desktop cause I love seeing the cool parts but cant get a graphics card so my girlfriend told me about this and said I can buy this for you for your birthday and I looked up youtube videos and I was blown away with the specs and the price its my first AMD computer I looked up asus before and loved there laptops with all the RBG lights but anyways I love this laptop and the RBG i did play some games with the stock ram it played decent but i would upgrade to 32GB to future proof you will get better specs to and i added a 2TB SSD it ran control at 50s fps everything high and raytracing i was gonna wait for the model with the 2k screen but its gonna be more money plus you wont get good frame rate with a 2k screen and everything on high with raytracing and i love raytracing have you seen Minecraft with ray tracing? so this laptop is the sweet spot only problem i had was a crash a few days ago but as long as nothing else goes wrong we are good thanks asus

Solid laptop, on the whole I have enjoyed having it very much. Unfortunately, the WIFI became very glitchy after about 8 months. I can get the WIFI card working maybe a third of the time. I have spent far too much time troubleshooting and working with ASUS and Best Buy support. No one can provide a fix. It seems like a hardware problem. Sometimes the card is detected and not working, sometime it is not detected at all. I have been told to send my laptop away for 2-6 weeks to a repair center. That is just unacceptable, especially considering this is an inconsistent problem and I would almost certainly just get the laptop returned with a note that the WIFI was working. Now one of my USB slots is occupied by an USB wireless adapter. A workable but annoying fix. I cannot give this laptop 5 stars like it would otherwise deserve.

Bought this laptop and the trackpad was loose so I returned it, and the second one had the same issue. Pros- Good performance Good response time Cons- Loose trackpad Dark screen Loud sound effect when turning on-terrible for school Heavy Changing the colors is almost an impossible task, with difficult software

Fast boot times. Ryzen CPU was great for multi-tasking/running multiple apps with ease. The GPU performance was okay. I expected more performance on just a 1080p screen. I was getting significant much slow down/FPS drops on medium and high settings. Great CPU performance and okay GPU performance...BUT! This laptop randomly keeps rebooting (I checked to make sure it was not from overheating or random updates)! I could not take this degree of unreliability since twice I lost work before autosaving and manual saving. Therefore, I returned the laptop.

I've gone through two of these laptops so far. The first one had Kernal Power critical error 041 every time I exited out of games like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. I did all the troubleshooting with ASUS including resetting the computer, but the error codes continued. I decided to take the laptop back to Best Buy and do an exchange because I really like this laptop. I did the exchange and I still have the Kernel Power Critical Error 041 where the laptop crashed after exiting out of games. Also, I have two dead pixels on the new laptop, which isn't enough to do a service request. This laptop has a lot of potential, but Asus needs to tighten up their quality control. I will be returning this second laptop and sticking with Intel and Nividia. I do not recommend anyone buy this laptop due to the quality control issues and software issues. Also, all drivers, bios and firmware are up to date on both of the machines, so it's not an isolated incident.
