Buyer beware
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cosmetically this is a beautiful laptop. Under the hood, not so much. I bought 2 of these and have the following problems with each so I know it's laptop related. The problems do not occur on a couple of low end HP email machines. Buyer beware!!! 1 - Can not get voice in Discord channels. If you hold your mouth just right you might get Hot Key to talk working but even that is dicey. I've had several people well versed in Discord try to help to no avail. Low end HP email machines connect via voice first time every time. 2: USB drives are reported that Windows can't recognize them after a couple of uses and formatting the devices fails. The same USB drives work on the low end HP's and are readily formatted if desired. You don't have to have a degree in computer science to see the the issue being common to both means it's laptop related.

Dedicated graphics card is broken

Be wary
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this as an excellent open box item which was only $100 cheaper than retail. I set it up correctly and updated drivers and optimized performance and as soon as a game would start heating up the laptop it would crash. Cities Skylines. Foxhole the winter army. Call 0f Duty. GTA. There is some kind of defect with this laptop. The crash happens with both the external display and the built in display. Unacceptable quality control as many others have described the same issues.

disappointment

It crashes from time to time while playing games. I don't think I will choose Asus again, I can't do my university homework. Buying an Asus is a waste of money.We bought the device from America and now we are in Europe, what can we do? Will such a big brand really leave its users alone with faulty laptops?

1. Push the power button and tap on "F2"
2. Once in the BIOS, tap "F9" and select "Yes"
3. Then tap on "F10" and select "Yes" (to save settings and restart)
