Awesome I would definitely purchase another one I use this for editing with Premiere Pro and After Effects. Great for editing better than what I thought it would be. Also great for gaming to. Only con is no SD card slot but I just purchased a usb to SD card.

I have been using this laptop for about a month and it has been very good. I play mostly FPS games such as rainbow 6 siege and csgo and it has been able to run everything very well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who would want a gaming pc that could be used for lans.

I got it on sale for 900 but it is a great value at it's 1200 asking price. Positives 1. 4 and half hours of battery life with this kind of performance 2. It's vr ready like actually vr ready 3. The speakers are actually good for a laptop 4. It only has one preinstalled Asus app

It seems to work fine so far. No webcam, which is something that I didn't realize until after I bought it.

Bought this as a replacement for my daughter's 2-in-1 to use for colleage. She's not really a gamer but I liked the 16gb and 512gb SSD - it was on sale at BB so I took a shot. Haven't noticed the overheating issues but she's not really stressing the system so I may never hear a complaint. No issues with fan noise either. So far so good.

As stated this laptop is fast. It is noisey under full load and the screen is kind of small

The overall product is not that bad, for the price it is good. Pros are great for gaming (fps are great on all the games I play), Keyboard isn't too clicky and loud, it is good for everyday use other than gaming and the adjustability of the settings is great. The only con for me is the screen is just a little dim but works fine on my part.

I play a lot of tarkov and valorant and this computer handles it with ease at the highest settings, when not plugged it there is a huge drop off in performance but easily manageable by adjusting your battery settings to avoid over charging!

Executes quickly with no lag times. Very pleased with this first foray into the gaming laptop world.

I was really looking forward to upgrading to this computer. The price was right and it has a lot of power. It ran my autocad buttery smooth and was fast. First I noticed that the audio from the output jack sounds bad. It was compressed, slightly distorted and had no life to it. This surprised me as this is a gaming laptop. Then I noticed that the Wifi was extremely slow to the point it was unusable. I was getting 100Mbs from my phone and 25Mbs on the laptop. This was at best buy in front of the tech. I did some research and troubleshooting to no avail. Geek squad said they would need at least 4 days to look at.... I did everything they would do so I returned it and purchased a different product. It's disappointing that this is such a poor product from Asus.

The 1660to-maxq is great for gaming. Processor isn’t the best there is but still can get me 80+ FPS.

As a entry level gaming laptop this really does well. Runs Apex Legends very smoothly.

I ultimately ended up returning this laptop because it didn't work for me personally, but before that I tried to work with it...twice, in fact. The first one had a defect that interfered severely with internet connection and made online gaming impossible without severe lag. The second one ran horrendously upon boot-up, and I struggled through rounds of windows updates, before eventually updating the BIOS. Following the BIOS update, it worked well enough; there was a problem regarding a default Windows app not functioning and repair tools doing nothing, but that is a Windows problem, not a problem with the machine itself. It was a bit of a trouble to start up, but once it got working it seems to be a decent machine for this price point. The main cause of the low rating is just how long it took me to get it set up and functional the second time (when I didn't have a machine with an internal problem). It should run any modern game decently.

Great laptop for both business and gaming. The only real complaint is that it looks a little bit too flamboyant in my opinion, and the first one I got had some technical issues, but the performance more than makes up for it.

I'm super pleased with this laptop; purchased it as I needed a strong GPU to handle graphics intensive videos and content plus a fast, smart CPU to handle all the workloads - got both in this system. The Ryzen 7 is awesome and graphics are first class!

The overall quality is really good but why max-Q? The design is flawless.

Wanted to move into games on PC platform and this ASUS checked all the right boxes. Plus got it as an open box item, for over 30% off! All reviews online talked about how good this laptop was and it has not disappointed.

Excellent for the price I paid, plays everything I need it to play with ease

I'm sure there are higher end laptops for gaming but, for the price, I got a lot of bang for the buck. My two main games are World of Warcraft and Elder Scrolls Online and both of them run smooth and seamless. Excellent laptop.
