Purchased laptop for graduation present for grandson. He picked it out and he is very happy with size, speed and ability to play games.

Great for gaming, movies, and great for multi window use. I can stream movies and work on my projects without getting any lagging.

Cant complain about this laptop, a solid buy for the price, quite fast and handles gaming and editing pretty well. No complains so far

This laptop is a good laptop for those who want to play older games or some popular games in a lower graphic mode. For the price, I say spend a little extra money on a computer with a more powerful graphics card and processor. That’s exactly what I did, I purchased this laptop open box before returning it and upgrading to “ASUS ROG GU502GV“ which is now on a tremendous sale. My downside to this computer was not being able to justify the price tag for the amount of power it was putting out (Spent $956). Although it is now cheaper than when I purchased it, I still say skip it and let it go into history where it belongs. You will thank me for it.

It's not the most powerful GPU, but the build quality is nice and it doesn't overheat during normal use.

First impressions are great, fast powerful and a bit of fan noise when gaming at high settings but lets face it you'll have a headset on. Have not had any issues so far, make sure you update the drivers and what not when you get this or it will not be optimized for the performance you need (new gamers). There is a lot of talk about the screen, but its a matte screen and in my opinion is very decent for gaming and everyday use, dont listen to the haters that need a 4k screen until they are happy.

I bought an open box model and have it to be a great value. It gets hot really quick. I’ve experienced some lag / hesitation playing games, but the video is surprisingly crisp.

This puppy is fast and plays doom eternal with 80-90 FPS. Good job asus and Best Buy for offering a good deal on this.

When I bought this laptop I was pretty excited. The looks and the feel was quite good. But here are my concerns. 1. No webcam. I expect to have a webcam in a laptop. I don't want to carry a separate webcam. Of course is a gaming laptop but I would not want to buy another system or laptop for my personal non gaming work. 2. The CPU/GPU performance drops frequently. While gaming, I prefer a steady performance. I play Dota2 and CSGO and I would lose fights because of these performance drops which irritated me a lot.

I was excited to get a new, gaming laptop because I do a lot of gaming and graphic design work form home. I was impressed with the packaging and the overall look of the laptop. HOWEVER Upon loading even the oldest of software and games (League of Legends, Divinity Original Sin 2, and Overwatch) the computer would heatup to over 90 degrees RAPIDLY. The right side of the laptop would become INCREDIBLY HOT. This, as I'm sure you know, causes malfunctions in the computer. This made my performance on multiple different games incredibly laggy and caused them to freeze and crash. I've tried contacting ASUS for my warranty but their customer service site is a maze. I tried contacting Geek Squad but I can't get help because of the Corona Virus closures and their mail-in program would cost $70 to ship in. Avoid this laptop.

It is great my gaming. And it will be great when I start school. It's not heavy so it is no problem carrying it in my backpack.

Bought this and sold my desktop. Very convenient to play games on the go.

Use this laptop mainly for writing papers, turning in assignments and using Inventor or fusion 360. It runs rather smoothly.

Its worth was worth that $967. Because of the discount I got it for the reason alone and it play games pretty good

Even if you are not a gamer, this computer will be the best option you will find in a large range of necesities

This is a good laptop for light gaming and productivity tasks. However I recommend getting the Asus G14 instead because it's not that much more money and the gains of the AMD 4900HS and Nvidia RTX 2060 are huge!
