Good Laptop But high Price the new a15 is better just try to give better prices

This is my work computer. I love it and use serious mapping/GIS software. Smooth as butter and the solid state drive makes the computer power up in under 15 seconds. CAUTION: Does NOT come with an integrated webcam.

Really good PC, plan to use it as a work PC once i upgrade :)!

My six year old grandson was so excited to get this gaming laptop to use at my house on the weekends when he comes over to spend time with his Memama. He loved the colors changing on the keyboard and the vibrant colors too. He said this is the best.

I was able to easily order the product online and during this time of the pandemic, Best Buy provided curb side pickup which was an added perk! The curb side picket was well set up and easy to follow! Great Job Best Buy Staff!

Started out great but then crashed and wouldn't even turn back on.

He loves it. With settings turned up in some games it can be a little laggy in intense fights, however, it was only like that in a game I don't use so I think it was more of a game related lag issue than the laptop performance.

strong, efficient, lightweight, bright & clear & not too much of a hit on wallet. what else is there to say? great deal for the gamer in your family, yourself or someone who just wants a storng portable laptop

I went into the store to look for a gaming laptop that was up to date and better than my current computer tower that was old and struggling. I had multiple employees help me and point out different laptops, and we ordered this one with the promise of it working for multiple types of games including MMO'S and RPG'S. When I received it, it had a horrible lag interval that occurred during all the games that made them unplayable. My drivers were up to date. The pc was up to date. My tech friends looked at it and couldn't figure it out. I had people try to tell me it was my internet and I argued that if it was my internet, then why did my offline games get affected too? I lowered the settings in all my games far below than what they even ran at with my tower, and the laptop STILL ran horribly compared to my tower. We compared all the specs between my tower and the laptop, and confirmed the laptop should have been working far more than it was putting out and deemed it a defect. It would even shut off after a literally having an uptime of 10 minutes while running any game. After three days of struggling, I gave up and returned it. A laptop like this shouldn't have regular lag and framerate drops like a buffering youtube video every three seconds between Minecraft, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XV and XIV, Monster Hunter World, etc. I wouldn't call the whole brand horrible, but I will never EVER order a "gaming" laptop again because you never know what you're going to get.

I bought this for gaming and was trying to use it for coding at school but it was far bigger than I anticipated. After less than a year the computer turned off by itself. The computer has a nice soft keyboard and a decent display. I recommend this computer to anyone beginning their PC gaming journey.

I have shopped for a new gaming laptop for some time and when I found this ASUS I fell in love with it. For the price it’s hardware and features compete with gaming laptops costing hundreds more. Pull the trigger, you won’t be disappointed!

This laptop has a great design, very slim and easily fits into a backpack. I used this laptop for about 3 weeks and decided that I am unhappy with it. My main reason for being disappointed with this laptop is the color accuracy on the display. I did as much calibration as I could without buying a Spyder and the colors still looked dull and warm. The second thing I don't like is the fact that it sounds like a hair dryer when I launch a game. Seriously, you will not be able to game on this laptop in a room where others are trying to watch TV or converse with each other. It DOES do a good job of staying cool, I will give it that. Other than the bad colors and the loud fans, it performs pretty good. I was able to get consistent 75fps while gaming( i had my FPS capped so that it wouldn't get too loud) I will be exchanging this laptop for the Razor Blade 15.

Great for schoolwork and for gaming. Son is very happy with this laptop.

Nice laptop for the price. Holds up pretty good, but I think I'm going to have to leave it plugged in on a more permanent basis for the continuous use. Streaming video burned through 50% battery life in 3 hours.

In the first months of using it it worked pretty good. Now 10 months later the laptop will freeze and cant be fixed. been trying to get help with bestbuy customer service but they just sends me to someone else.

I am not try to aggregate the situation here. This laptop has a sever cpu frequency drop problem while gaming. The frame rate tanks heavily every 10-20 seconds. There are lots of people out there on the internet having the same issue. I am not sure the causes (probably overheating or a simply bios design flaw), but it happens universally. Wasting several days or even weeks to find a solution for the problem that is obviously not customers’ business. So save yourself some time and wait for the new Zephyrus model or stay away from ASUS.

Excellent laptop runs nice and smooth just wish screen was a little bigger
