Great computer easy to use. Wish the screen was 4K but it’s ok I have it hooked up to my Sony oled tv with an hdmi cable.

Does a decent amount right but the biggest problems is the lack of easy to replace battery for long term owners and graphics card hardware that prevents it from being used for virtual reality equipment. The fact that I can't use this system for basic VR equipment software that easily meet the system requirements is a big problem for me. This now giving me pause on future Asus hardware since this is the second time I've had to dive deep into obscure sites and resources to figure out issues with their hardware where it was not functioning properly with hardware that should normally work with their products. The fact I have had to learn this the hard way and expensively. The fact I now have to conduct further research on ASUS products in the future for any potential hardware abnormal hardware incompatibilities means I will be very hesitant to make purchases of their products and tell other people to avoid their products unless they know what exactly they are after.

I got only one laptop for my son. Should have upgraded both my own and his devices. 990 for am amazing laptop with great specs.

I've had no problems with this laptop so far, however it runs extremely hot so I recommend a cooling system for it.

The pc is completely gorgeous and smooth, the packaging kept it safe easily, and the set up was simple and quick

I bought this to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The first trial, with updated NVIDIA driver and AMD chipset driver, the FPS dropped periodically from 7-80 to 10-20, finding my character dead after every lag. I figured the CPU performance was dropping periodically from 100% to ~10% when there was FPS drop. So I changed the edit power plan > change advanced power setting > power processor management (forgot the exact name) so that the CPU doesn't go up to 100% (overclock). This solved the periodic FPS drop issue but then the game shut down while I was playing. This happened for 100% of my trial, it didn't last more than 20 mins. I got remote help from a geek squad guy and I appreciate his effort but despite the 3 hours of debugging and optimizing the setting, the game still didn't last running for more than 20 mins. I've been trying different settings, drivers, etc for 3 days, done factory reset 4 times, stressed out. Maybe I was unlucky and got a bad one, but the impression I and the geek squad guy got is that this is not a good laptop for Call of Duty. I'm returning this laptop tomorrow.

I love ASUS and I over this computer, had to buy one to replace my old one who failed a bios flash. Great purchase!
