    I recently bought this for school and gaming lightly, It broke down on my multiple times and running my GPU and CPU to 100% it was sent to the company 4 different times and the 3rd time all they did was end task. The laptop is horrible and I would not recommend it to anybody.

Most time, this could be due to a malware known as worm. Have you tried to use Windows defender/ third party anti-virus to scan your system throughout?     I recently bought it to game and do some light productivity and program but for games I played Snake Pass just to test it out for the game but it drops frames and CPU usage drops to .4ghz. I don't know if it's hardware or software. but I read that it's a hardware issue.

    got this laptop because the specs where good thought it would handle gaming well. should have looked at reviews and issues with this laptop. got it home downloaded and updated it. but after installing the witcher 3 and playing after a little time playing the game will drop down to a low frame rate and stutter. decided to open up the armory create and see whats going on when this happens, the cpu drops to 400mhz and the temps on the cpu are 101-104 C. i have tried clean installs, updated drivers, and even updated the bios. but still has this issue. other people that have had this issue say its the thermal past that was used on these laptops and re applying will fix that. but i dont think that a brand new laptop should have these issue out of the box so i would say do not buy this laptop at all. and this is the 2nd one i got, returned the first one that was open box and got a new one both had the exact same issues. thought asus had better quality control then this.

    Thermal Throttling! Gamer? Find something Else

    Good laptop if you aren’t gaming. The computer is nice, lots of great I/O, nice display, thin and light. BUT, huge problem with gaming. Purchased it to play Modern Warfare, which it plays very well, for about 15 seconds. 15 seconds in, the computer begins to thermal throttle the CPU down to 400mhz which then causes massive drops in Frame rate to flat out unusable. The frame rates fluctuates from 60ish FPS down fo about 10 FPS every 7 seconds due to the heavy thermal throttling. Tested Heaven bench, just to rule out the game, same results. GPU temps reach 70* BIOS or Windows throttle the CPU down to 400Mhz which causes a massive drop in frames. There are Numerous posts all over the internet about this issue with no word from Asus on a fix. Not sure if it’s a software issue, or a hardware issue. Thankfully, Best Buy has a great return policy for the holidays so I’ll ride it out until the last day of return. If Asus does not have fix by then, it’ll be going back for something else.

    No camera. Bought with oculus, not compatible. I've tried different connections and nothing works. Wondering why I was sold these products at the same time if they're not compatible. Realize now the product is not returnable because its been 14 days. Very disappointed in product and service.
