This upgraded model satisfied just about everything it could from the previous! The display has deep blacks and pure whites complement the beautiful frame-rate for gaming and editing panels for video editing. The only flaw is that the USB4 port is compatible with plenty of Thunderbolt devices, but not all, as it is not a true Thunderbolt port. However, I have it successfully powering 12 USB devices and 2 gaming monitors from a dock connected to it's single USB4 port. Very impressive!

I’ve been using the Zephyrus G14 2025 for a while now, and overall it’s an absolute beast. Performance is seriously impressive for a 14-inch laptop, it can handle most modern AAA games at max settings, but during long gaming sessions it does get quite hot, so I usually lower some graphics settings to keep temperatures in a more comfortable 65–75°C range. The display is one of the highlights — sharp, vibrant, and just a pleasure to look at whether I’m gaming or doing everyday tasks. The keyboard, trackpad also feels fantastic. On top of that, the speakers sound surprisingly good for a laptop this size. One thing I strongly recommend is sticking with ASUS-recommended drivers. Try to look up your exact product ID on the ASUS website and download drivers from there. Doing this helped me avoid issues like random restarts and kept the system running smoothly.

Great portable gaming computer, not only allows you to enjoy high demanding games, its also a powerhouse to do any kind of develop/design tasks.

My return window ended yesterday and today my laptop randomly restarted... i got a notification that the system encountered a problem and needed to restart and just shut off on its own but didn't restart. I tried turning it back on and nothing the screen was just off but i could hear the fans running really light, i unplugged it and after a while the fans stopped but still nothing, would not turn on at all. After a google search on how to force shut down I held the power button down for 10 sec and finally was able to get it to shut off completely apparently. After finally getting it to turn back on it seems fine. I day trade and luckily had just gotten out of a trade this could've been really bad given all of my tasks were just ended. Also the build quality could be better the bottom cover is bulged towards the front to where you can see inside which again that should not be the case in a laptop at this price point in my opinion. I can say it does run smoothly when it wants, even tho it'll have some micro stutters here and there when not plugged in which for now I'm thinking can be fixed with some tunning, but overall I am a bit disappointed after what just happened with the restart today and really hope the problem doesn't persist. Now I'm wondering if i should bring it in for a diagnostic, and seeing what my options are to move forward. Now the part where if i would recommend it.. it is a good running laptop and does run very well even with alot of tasks running, and it does tick alot of boxes as far as performance, screen resolution, and gaming, which is definitely a plus. In conclusion I'd say go for it if you can get it on a sale, I would not recommend it at full price.

I'm sorry but 16gb just isn't enough anymore. It the box it was using 65-70% of its ram just idling. See the Pic It also gets hot. I traded it in for the higher tier that has better cooling and double the ram. I was impressed by how well it games but again way too hot... if you want something that will still be good in a couple years i recommend the 32gb vapor chamber cooling models

Worth it! Specs is just nice for gaming and with it's weight, you can bring it anywhere.

It is an exceptionally powerful speedy, and uh, visually esthetics is a 100 out of 10. I'm very happy bit my purchase. And I am very happy with the response that the computation and the speed of the system, I'm not used to having all this horsepower up and underneath the hood. I might just have to take it down to track for an eighth quarter. Mile, see what my lap time is? There's this thing right here, suing.It should be a super sport!! A sleek compact powerhouse that is wonderful for both gaming and work.

I’ve been using this ROG Zephyrus G14 for less than a year and honestly it’s been very disappointing. It overheats even with normal use, the fans get loud even when I’m just browsing, and the laptop freezes and crashes for no clear reason. Just look at the Reliability Monitor report I shared from only one month and you’ll see how many times it crashed and had errors. A Best Buy Geek Squad technician even told me this is a common issue with the G14. If you need a reliable high-performance laptop, I would not recommend this one.

Optimizing battery life takes a little work and usually constant tweaks in ghelper. Tried overcooking with ghelper and i saw major increase in time spy.

My first gaming laptop! Pretty and clean look! Many features. The only downsides was I wasn’t told there are some things you need to download yourself for things to work, such as the slash lighting application.

With a little help from Ghelper and some fine tuning this can be one of the best gaming laptops on the market! I absolutely love it and wholeheartedly recommend updating everything, then uninstalling asus services and installing ghelper.

This is by far The Best Laptop I have ever purchased. The speed of uploading pics and media is phenomenal. This machine is a Beast of Beast, so if your imagination is anywhere near my huge imagination… I suggest you purchase this laptop!!!

I came from using an HP ProBook with just an FHD screen, so switching to this ASUS is a massive and necessary upgrade. I needed a machine that could handle AI models, and this one runs them flawlessly. The performance is top-tier, the OLED screen is stunning, and the keyboard, touchpad, and audio are all excellent. One cool AI feature is the Copilot+ button that can summarize YouTube videos, which is super useful and a nice touch for productivity. It does get warm and the battery drains quickly, even with light tasks like updates or watching videos, but overall, it’s an amazing laptop for anyone who needs serious power and modern AI tools.
