Ive owned a piece of crap laptop for 3 years...I've owned this laptop for 3 months. Both had to be factory reset....my garbage laptop rarely crashed but some how my g14 crashes every other week. Im only angry because I've never spent 1.5 GRAND ON A COMPUTER!!! the crash isn't bad but I lost everything and have hours of trying to get tech support from anyone (because Asus was no help) I determined the only solution was to factory reset. There go hours of work. I have important stuff backed up of course but not all my game saves and some of my latest work. Welp thanks for taking a whole day out of my life.

I am using chrome just to browse internet (like, only a few tabs open) and the fans are kicking on and off every few seconds at full speed. It's so incredibly annoying I think I am going to have to return it. Bummed because I did a lot of research to get out of the mac ecosystem and was hoping this would be the ticket.

I'm sorry to hear that your machine is having abnormal fan behavior. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control, testing and inspections. What you've experienced was not intentional or representative of our brand. If you haven't already, you can adjust the fan profile for this machine via the Armoury Crate app. I also recommend following the link below to update your BIOS and chipset drivers.
