ASUS makes terrible products which don't last

I called the manufacturer to get it replaced, they said the warranty only allows them to repair it but if they can't then there is nothing they can do. Spoke to someone at Bestbuy and was told that this model has a known defect which burns out the motherboard even with minimal use.

Worthless.

I sent it to the manufacturer multiple times, and it came back with new issues each time. I am very disappointed. Overall, the laptop seems like it would be nice, but I regret buying it with all the problems we have had.

Battery terrible

The battery capacity did not change even I have plugged in for a day, no matter if I used the computer or completed shut down to charge. It remains for 9%. I called customer services and uninstall the battery devices. Also, I tried to update but some updates require to have a 40% battery capacity but THERE IS NO WAY TO CHARGE!!!! I want to exchange but it is out of stock!!!!

Great hardware, non-functional ASUS update

After over an hour with the GeekSquad phone support (in addition to more than an hour of being on hold) they recommended the G14 to be brought in. It was a great computer for two weeks. We returned it and got a different computer. It’s difficult to trust products from a company that sends out updates that are essentially a kill virus.

Great Laptop, But Buy It Somewhere Else

Went on sale soon after buying, but return period is so small I have no chance at getting the deal. I have loved this laptop, but best buy has caused me so many problems I am starting to regret buying it. If you buy this laptop, PLEASE DON’T BUY IT FROM BEST BUY. I promise you, it is worth paying a little more somewhere else.

complete rip-off

It also freezes up frequently, and the cursor disappears into the screen continuously. I am upset that I waited a few months before I tried returning it because I found it it cannot be returned after 15 days.

Nice keyboard and trackpad, great speakers. Based on the reviews on the web, I was dying to receive this laptop, I preordered it instantly as it became available on Bestbuy. After playing COD Warfare and BF5 Cpu averages at 97c it hits 106c constantly and a couple of times even hit 109c. GPU goes up to 95c.

We're sorry to hear about the unfortunate experience you're having with this model. There's a possibility that there are background apps and Windows updates causing the unit to perform as it does. What we've observed with the Windows 10 operating system is that once the unit is not being used all background and installed apps including Windows updates will fire up. We would recommend that you check for and install updates. This will cause the unit to run a bit hotter than normal and in turn ramp up the fan speed. We would recommend that the user check for and install all updates for all installed applications. Multiple restarts are recommended to ensure all updates are installed.

GARBAGE DON'T BUY

Audio jack no longer working

I try to test the audio and all that comes out is a slight screech throughout my headphones. No audio at all when playing a video game or youtube. Only works on the speakers. Anything I plugin doesn't work at all.
