Everything about this laptop has been great! I’ve had it for 4 years now and I have no complaints, I know it’s labeled as a gaming laptop, but I don’t usually play games on it even though the graphics are impeccable. I use it for Music Production and most times I’ll have multiple programs opened up within the DAW and it’s hasn’t let me down yet. I would love if the battery life would last a bit longer but then again it is 4 yrs old. I really have no negative things to say about this laptop. This brand is amazing and I see myself upgrading to a new one.

A relatively short review, but I recently purchased an ROG Zephyrus G14 and am incredibly satisfied. Some quick pros/cons: Pros: -Just absurd value. Compared to other laptops with similar specs, the Zephyrus delivers more RAM, more GPU, and more SSD storage at a lower cost. This is unusual, as the "gaming" segment tends to be overpriced relative to components, so a pleasant surprise from ASUS. -Attractive. I've owned one ASUS ROG laptop before, and let me tell you that thing was a monster. This laptop is slim, with clean lines and a sort of retro look that owns, but does not scream, the fact that it is a gaming laptop. -Easy out of the box. There's not much bloatware on this puppy, and things have been running smoothly as I've started to put it through its benchmarking paces. Cons: -Confusing boxing. The charger that comes with the computer is split across two compartments in the box, with the AC Adapter-PC connector in one compartment and the wall plug tucked away on the other side of the box. This made no sense, because there was tons of room to just place the whole charging getup in the compartment with the adapter, and I was 90% sure that I had received a defective laptop for 5 minutes as I searched the box for clues while trying not to damage it in case I needed to make a return. -A tad on the heavy side. This laptop looks like it weighs 2 or 2.5 pounds, but it's a solid 3.5 to 4. That's not a surprise, given everything you're getting out of it, but it's a bit chonkier than expected carrying the thing around. I'm sure I will get used to this, but it's always weird reaching over to pick up my laptop and remembering I need to use a little more force than expected..

Nice laptop and powerful for the size. Should have a better screen but good fro price

This laptop is by far one of the best I have ever owned. You get a lot of power for the price. I have no issue running all the games that I have played on max settings. Plus, I haven't tried it out yet, but this thing is VR ready! The only con to it is that it can get a little loud at times when in heavy game play. I would definitely recommend a laptop cooling pad when playing for long sessions.

This was my first big purchace into a gaming centered computer while it was on sale, and I couldn't have asked for a better deal. It has lasted me 2.5 years of varied use, runs perfectly! The storage is perfect, and the specs make it even better. The only "issue" I'll have with it is the heat it produces, which is to be expexted, but with a stand with good airflow and cool room, no complaints! My model I fear may just have lacking speakers, but never a serious issues especially if you use headphones, speakers, or are just relatively close to it.

This laptop is perfect for those who want to run CPU-demanding software as well as playing games at a high quality. It is very easy to use (especially coming from a Mac user) and portable for those on the go. This is almost a perfect laptop if it weren't for its thermals being a problem-it tends to get to 80C to 90C when playing games at very high quality graphics. The battery lasts 8-10 hours depending on use. Overall, this is one of the best laptops out there for its size and value! This laptop is by far the greatest laptop that I have ever used! It has currently replaced my 2017 Macbook Pro, and I have little to no regrets about it! From the steller performance, keyboard, trackpad, design, etc. I have zero issues so far as the laptop is great and is most likely giving the best performance for the size! Some other people have complained about the fingerprint sensor, but mine has worked fine with no problems. This laptop is perfect for those who want the best performance for a good deal this is the perfect device!

At this price this is the best we get. Light weight, stylish, better battery life, best performance in one laptop.

This laptop has lasted me for 4 years and has done its job as my video editing laptop. It's almost near it's max age as I'm starting to notice the performance is starting to slow down, but this was a great purchase for me and I love this laptop a lot. I might get it looked at to see if I can still salvage it and give it a nice "tune-up" but it did everything I needed it to do.

Purchased 4 years ago and still running great, even on higher end games

Laptop has some issues with battery life; the dGPU randomly activates and drains the battery. The laptop is light, but the screen smears for high FPS content. The trackpad stopped working then started working again after several months of not using it.

I purchased this laptop in August 2020 for college initally as a graphic design student. Runs amazing! The only downside is that it gets super hot espically when charging, so I recommend getting a fan. The external speakers also are on the lower volume end. Also super durable considering my laptops journey of being thrown around to having a liquid spill.

This laptop was a small-form powerhouse. It accomplished everything that I could ever throw at it, to include, "AAA," titles as they emerged over the years. Asus gained a customer for life, so long as they maintain the premium quality of this machine.

Just got it today and haven't stopped using it all night. My first ever gaming PC and its a laptop but it couldn't get any better. So many cool features, runs extremely smooth, and feels great to type on. Can't wait to bring this to college with me.

Turbo mode makes this thing a monster while gaming. It’s run like a top of the line gaming laptop while being the one of the lightest on the market.

This laptop is incredibly lightweight feeling and incredibly powerful. Every game I have thrown at this thing will run smoothly and consistently. I have done some video editing as well and the render speeds are amazing. This is a great purchase if you're looking for a gaming laptop that doesn't feel like a gaming laptop.

I bought this in October of 2020 and about 1 year into ownership the fans started making a ton of noise. It still works well and has been a beast through grad school and music and video games.

This laptop has two weaknesses and that is it. Those two weaknesses are that the keyboard's back light leaves a lot to be desired (It's especially bad on my silver model). The other weakness is the lack of a webcam. Neither of these are a deal breaker however and the webcam is easily fixed with an external one.

Really good looking laptop. Very powerful for its size, eve outperforms laptops with similar processors with larger size. one issue though is the noise, the laptop is pretty noisy, but it can be overlooked since its noisy only during gaming, where you need the fans to keep the PC cool
