Don’t buy ASUS!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would not recommend buying any ASUS product. This laptop was abou $1500. I had the same problem that many others have reported - blue screen of death every few minutes, black screening. Took it too the Geek Squad - they said it was either the graphics card or the motherboard. The machines is just out of warranty. ASUS doesn’t talk to people just out of warranty - they send you to the website - I’ve already been through the website troubleshooting steps - spent weeks going through the website troubleshooting steps and doing several OS reinstalls. Should have skipped all that because now it seems it was low quality hardware. My new hobby is going to be hanging out at Best Buy and telling people not to buy ASUS products and about the experience. A $1500 computer that has only ever been run siting on a cooling pad should last longer than 15 months.

The BestBuy Geek squad sent it off to be repaired which took roughly 1 month. When the laptop was retuned it immediately overheated. The laptop is now back with the BestBuy Geek Squad for another “repair”. This was an expensive purchase and I’m extremely disappointed in how quickly it failed and with the poor repair job performed by the BestBuy Geek Squad. Maybe they’ll get it right the 2nd time, if not, I have a $1400.00 paper weight. I would not recommend this product to anyone. If you do decide to purchase the laptop get every extended tech warranty offered or purchase from a retailer that actually stands behind the products they sell.

Terrible Online Purchasing Experience

Finally a powerful laptop in a small form factor that can stand up to any task you throw at it. Productivity, gaming, and travel. The problem is the BestBuy online experience. I simply could not order it online. When I placed the order BestBuy would later cancle it. I had to talk to 5 support staff members and 2 credit cards until finally a BestBuy support member told me that it was their problem and my account was somehow flagged by their system. This is not how you treat a My BestBuy elite customer. Hours wasted on the phone line.

Impressive specs & checks the boxes, shipping fail

To top it off, you are stuck in limbo because you can't cancel the order. Bait and switch perhaps?
