Good looking, light weight and long battery life as a gaming laptop, strong CPU performance. But no webcam, only one slot for storage and 8gb memory onboard.

I really love this beast of a machine! It is almost worth the money. I hate the fact that they don't have it in black but I can live with it. The white one has the issue where you cannot use the keyboard back lighting, it's hard to read the keys. Also one issue is that even with the Ryzen processor, it still heats up quite a bit when gaming. It heats up to the point where some of the keys start to become uncomfortable to use. I don't use it for long periods of time and so it's fine for me but in extended use, you will probably be close to burning your fingers.

Great laptop for the price, quick speed, great battery, good for gaming and everyday use, light and small screen.

Really prefer the smaller form factor. I'm able to get over 10 hours of battery life after adjusting some settings (turn off boost and force integrated graphics on battery). When gaming on the laptop, be sure to plug in to the included charger. The ability to charge with a USB-C has been amazing. I'm able to carry one charger for my laptop, Nintendo switch and my phone. Speakers sound great, though I've noticed some popping infrequently. As you may know, the keyboard backlight is useless. Apparently this has been addressed for models produced after the initial batch. Mine has a March 2020 manufacture date.

Purchased this on sale and so far it is a very good laptop, build quality is great, battery life is great, it is fast. I have had no issues as of yet with it.

While I experienced some dismay at the lack of an anime matrix in this model, the performance offered by this device redeemed the lack of the novelty feature. This device operates superbly while running fps games Apex Legends for example, ran fluidly at the highest of texture settings. Even while running the default fan settings. though after three hours of gameplay heat could be felt eminating from the centrals keys(H for example was the key which I noticed the heat disipate through the most) and I felt it nessisary for both myself and the laptop to powerdown and cool off.

Its amazing how powerful this laptop is considering its size. It runs everything I've thrown at it with no issues. Speakers are surprisingly good for a laptop. Screen is very clear and bright. I found it was getting a little hot and is expected for a gaming laptop but I did a little searching and found a way to cut the temperatures by up to 20c and it hardly effects the performance. Just do a search on YouTube on for "Disable turbo ASUS Zephyrus" and thank me later.

So so amazing. I was questioning that much power in such a small frame. It does heat up quickly but it's really easy to fix that in the power options.

some interesting things to know about it is, it will utilize only half the logical processors when unplugged saving energy, utilizes the integrated graphics when unplugged as well. the 2060 maxq is a powerhouse when gaming. This has 8 cores and 16 logical processors, when plugged in it will raise the processor limit to 3.5+ghz. the only sad part is that it does NOT have Animatrix. This is a thin and light gaming notebook that is strongly recommended for college students who heavily game. Any thermal problems you have may be solved by elevating it slightly to allow the air intake from the bottom.

Bought this awhile ago and still handles anything i throw at it including new aaa games. Now that it dropped in price, it's even more of a good pick.

At this point I've owned both a razer blade 13 stealth and this Zephyrus g14. Spec wise, this really knocks the Razer blade out of the park. I do a lot of design work with a side of gaming and had absolutely nothing but amazing things to say about the laptop until.... it started blue screening randomly. To say random, I truly mean random. It happens when: 1. This goes to sleep and comes back 2. When I really push the memory and processing power doing photo editing and layouts in indesign 3. If the sun hits the laptop the wrong way. This is actually my second G14. The first one I returned because it wouldn't come back from sleep mode. This one likes to turn off. It's usually not a big deal because I put everything on the cloud any ways and it's so fast it boots right up with no problems. However, now that it's become a bit more erratic I'm getting ready to do a hard reset and sell it off to someone who might be using this more for its intended purpose. I've done a factory reset twice so far and it seems like that fixes it for a fairly long time. Which makes me think I might be the problem. In any case, hardware wise, this is a phenomenal machine. It's lightweight, travels well, and under normal circumstances is able to handle all kinds of things you throw at it. The typing experiences is one of the best I've had outside of the surface book 1 and 2. The screen itself is pretty gorgeous out of the box. I've tried to use x-rite to calibrate it and the only feedback it gave me was to turn the brightness down.

I'm coming from a build aged about 6.5 years. I was under the impression that laptops just couldn't "hang" with the desktops. I think this system has proven me wrong. Finally a laptop worth gaming on! I bought it after listening to many tech reviewers and it has not disappointed. I won't focus on all the positives on this review just the few and ONLY drawbacks I have so far: *back-lit keyboard is poor and inconsistent. Not a deal killer for me. *fingerprint scanner seems like it could be better. not as good as others I've used. 75% of time it logs me in. *the ports...like the usb and power plug, just mid keyboard level. in the way. not a fan. All that being said - the positives out weigh the negatives. I'm enjoying the new laptop and will continue to for years to come I believe.

Small, incredibly powerful, and an overall good laptop. Gets kinda hot, but any laptop i have owned also does. Runs Destiny 2 maxed out at 100+ fps.

At $1350 this laptop is a banger. I did happen to get it on sale for $1100 at the time so it was a no brainer. The battery life is amazing and it’s a very nice and fast laptop. I don’t game on it though but I’m sure it can play most big titles at 1080p at 90-120fps. When I was laptop shopping in a price range of 1400 I was actually having a hard time finding something with a great processor. I couldn’t believe when I found with laptop with the specs it has for $1100 at the time when it was on sale. But even at $1350 it’s worth every penny.

This is a tremendous laptop. The keyboard feels great to type on and the chassis is made of metal and feels high quality. The screen is a little small for what I'm used to (14" 1080p vs my desktop 27" 1440p), but for portability, this thing rocks! My two main gripes: No webcam and the fans can be a bit loud when gaming. I overcome these with a Logitech 920 camera that I bought for my desktop and headphones work wonders for the audio experience when the fans kick in. If you need a powerful machine for portability, this one still can't be beat.

i love this laptop. it's fast, powerful and small. i'm running linux on it and now it's even faster. great for gaming and for everything else as well

This has been, by far, the best laptop I have ever purchased. It’s very fast, super compact, and the battery life is excellent. Hands down, the best.

For me it's a perfect sized laptop that is capable for any task you throw at it. It does get uncomfortably warm, but only on heavy tasks. I really like the build quality and the laptop overall. I am, however, dissatisfied with the lack of customer service from BB about the 1 month Xbox Game pass that's supposed to be included at the time of purchase. Since it wasn't there, chat rep just told me they didn't see it in my purchase and gave me a number to call. It shouldn't be this difficult. Otherwise, great purchase!!
