This BEAST is fast responsive it is everything I want and need in a laptop, not just for gaming but for work business and just all round day to day use, been using my Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 for a while now and I have zero complaints so far! The graphics card is amazing for a mid level but the all out winner is the AMD RYZEN 9, this beast is amazing ! Its a well built laptop very sturdy and with quality in mind, and for the pries this machine is a steel.

This laptop is a beast. Everything goes fast for school work and gaming. I can't be happier with my purchase and this computer is going with me for a very long time. For $1499 and the specs? You can't beat that. Fan noise is acceptable, not loud when doing school work, but man, when playing games. you have two options. To lose some fps by turning turbo mode off = less noisy fan or turbo mode with the fan on. Trust me. Every gaming laptop needs its fans to cool things off.

I'm currently writing this review on my G14 because I use it every single day, and I absolutely love it. I've owned a few gaming laptops in my time, and built several desktops, but I haven't come across anything that can go toe-to-toe with my G14 in the way of combining portability, power, and value. I'm running most games on High to Ultra settings and getting just under, if not over, 60 FPS. Plus, because this laptop has an RTX card, you can use DLSS if a game offers it, allowing you to get insane graphics and still achieving great framerates. You can also turn on Ray-Tracing with this laptop, though due to it being a laptop, you may get less than favorable frame rates. I did find that running Cyberpunk 2077 on Ultra settings with Ray-Tracing turned to Performance, I was able to get 30 FPS, which I honestly didn't mind at all. All-in-all, an amazing laptop worth every penny. I would, however, make one suggestion if you're looking to get one. When you first power it on and use it, keep an eye on your battery and how quickly it drains. It's supposed to run for about 11 hours with basic usage, but I've heard that some out there, including my own, don't achieve that battery life. It never bothered me since I only use my laptop when there's a power source nearby, but if you're looking to use this without plugging it in for long periods of time, I would recommend keeping an eye on your battery life and getting your laptop replaced if necessary.

Been rocking this laptop for quite a while, you probably know very about specs at this point, quality of materials is awesome, very premium feeling, the screen is very bright for me, I have a 4k monitor and I can barely feel a different of the resolution with this Panel the pixel density is equal to UHD, colors are very reach and everything looks amazing! I wish this have had a nVidia 2070 Graphic card but we all know about the other chip manufacturer.. Overall the speed of this laptop is outstanding, I definetely recommend this Notebook to students and content creators. The only problem I had so far was the black screens issue solved by updating the chipset and Radeon Driver from Asus G14 firmware and updates' website. I love my new notebook!

Great hardware, excellent built. Unfortunately it runs hot when gaming and there's no camera. Still great.

An excellent laptop for both gaming and streaming alike! The Zephyrus is lightning quick, able to boot in seconds, opening up web-pages in an eyeblink. Download speeds and updates move smoothly. Multitasking, even with intense gaming and streaming, works wonderfully, although the fan may get somewhat loud as would be expected for high processing. An overall stellar device.

I am super happy with this laptop. I just streamed to twich and all the programs and game used were well within capabilities of gpu and memory. Yes, the fan runs when gaming but as mentioned by other reviews, most of us wear headphones while gaming. I'd love to upgrade memory, but do I really need it? So I'm a tech junky and would love a 2k rig but this buy was in my budget and best of all met the approval of the other half. (Smile)

This laptop has been a fantastic purchase from day one. A clean install of windows out of the box (cause forget the built in bloat) and some cleanup and tweaking. Games run very well at medium-high to high. Cyberpunk is pretty nice at medium settings and plays really well. I can be slicing 3d models, working, playing games and the system doesn't break a sweat. Games however get this bad boy cooking. Loud fans but rock solid gameplay.

I have two gaming laptops in my family and both are MSIs. i have been waiting for slim factor laptop for a while and when Asus launched this, I decided to plunge! Coming from MacBook Pro for 10years the transition to Windows is not easy for personal stuff. That aside, I got the Ryzen 9 edition of this G14 and the first one had to be returned due to crackling speakers so I was cautious about the send one. The second one is a hit and a perfect unit. Please test the unit you get for speakers and screen as with any laptop these days. The laptop itself has very good on paper specs, nice looks, good hinges (yeah, look for hinge quality for any laptop before you buy) and looks durable. That said, I am not abusing this as I did my Macbook Pro I like the unique display shell design, no-bloatware, glass trackpad, AMAZING Speakers and Ryzen 9! I dont like keyboard backlighting but the keyboard itself has a good feel. Dolby Atmos will be enabled after you update Windows Drivers so dont fret over it if you dont see it right away

Easily the lightest but powerful laptop for under 1500$. After some minor tweaks I'm able to get 7 hours of light work per charge. The Asus software is amazing at recognizing when I'm about to game and optimizes everything based around what apps I'm using. I primarily play overwatch, and on maxed settings it is over 220 frames/second . Just as good as my desktop. There is a more powerful model but it's also more expensive.

So far so good, You do have to do a little work to get it efficient but that’s all available on the reddit forums. Really slim laptop overall, lightweight, powerful enough for CAD work, comfortable feel and keyboard. I recommend maybe a laptop stand. As an architect student this does the job pretty well and with better specs and good value than most laptops these days cannot complain. Hope it works as good for you as it has been for me.

I like the size of the computer. I really like how when you open it that it holds it up slightly at the back so it doesn't sit flat against surface because that has to help with overheating. My last laptop would overheat while I was playing Minecraft but this one handles it fine. I do hear the fans kick on but I dont really notice them to the point of bothering me like some have said. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Hi, It has no webcam and I bought it for streaming, but that just took $50 extra. Aorus the company that makes it denies extended coverage for Best Buy purchases because it is not an authorized retailer. It is a powerful laptop. Great software included including excellent power mangement. Can charge via USB-C not included. It meets my needs and handles my games well. Other versions have a lighted cover called Ana Matrix and this does not.

I was playing ffxiv on a microsoft surface before switching over this this laptop, and wow what a difference it makes. The response time, load speed, and image quality are sooooo much better. The only thing is the fan can get slightly loud at times and even with the fan on, the laptop (especially the keyboard part) can get a bit hot. But after putting it on a cooling pad, the heat is no longer an issue. Highly recommend!

Great laptop fast cpu and gpu the design are pretty good just the temps are not the best

I started out wanting an 13" Ultrabook to replace my Zenbook from 2013. The size and weight of this laptop is not much more than an ultrabook but with so much more power. The laptop has been really stable and not given me any trouble yet. Using the manual fan curve in Armoury Crate, I am able to turn off the fans entirely below 60C, it is now completely silent in most browsing / office tasks. Really happy with this laptop.

After checking the site everyday to see when the computer was in stock, I'm super happy with my decision to go with the G14. I was doing some pretty in-depth research prior to purchasing, and all paths led to this. The computer fan does blast pretty frequently when gaming (even when turning graphics down), but wearing headphones will keep the nuisance to a minimum. This is my first gaming laptop, but I've really liked the performance on it so far.
