Laptop is sexy, has a fantastic battery life, and all of its components for the price make it an amazing pickup. I got a wireless mouse to go along with it to play on the couch or over at families. Will not disappoint anyone who buys it to play games. Played many hours of Valorant, Fall Guys, and Fallout 76. All games run great.

Fast, compact, quiet (except when playing games) and long battery life. Excellent value.

After having to delete bloat ware like roblox, and make some power plan adjustments, editing the power fan settings, and creating a cooler place to put my laptop, I was able to safely run most games on average-ultra Not an out of the box ready to go gaming computer but still works great once you’ve got all the settings to your liking

you are able to stand the noise that comes out of this thing even at idle. fan sometimes spike up for no good reason. At max fan speed, it gets distractingly loud for the quality of speaker it has. Thermals runs up to mid 90s. I return it since i was worried about its longevity given the temps. The build is okay.

This laptop is amazing! I am so happy with it, bit I have some negatives I want to mention. I'm a music producer / YouTuber, so a powerful laptop for video editing is a must. Video editing is super smooth and rendering does not take long at all! Music production is just as smooth. However, when I first got this unit I was disappointed to find a bunch of problems out of the box. The battery would never charge fully to 100%, the screen would black out every couple of minutes, and the display came with a defect that would cause multiple colors and lines to show every so often. I was able to get it replaced, and my new unit works how it's supposed to! I couldn't be more pleased with it! But just something to keep in mind for those of you who intend to purchase.

I really enjoy this laptop. I have been using it for work and gaming and it has been fenominal. After playing some gpu intensive games it can run hot at the top of the keyboard. Keep in mind i have only had this laptop for 1 month so i cannot attest to the longevity of the hardware but as for the initial build feel and first impressions i am very satisfied with it. I will update this if anything changes.

Purchased this laptop for my dad, who utilizes it for work and gaming. Laptop is sleek and fast, it performs on par with my 1080ti desktop. If I did not have my own gaming desktop, I would not hesitate to purchase this laptop. It is thin, light, and powerful. The YouTube reviews give the same pros for this laptop. I, and my father, could not be happier with the purchase

This is my first windows laptop and I’m really happy with my purchase. Design and Performance of this laptop really impressed me. I can play all my favorite games and do my personal tasks pretty nicely. However, the fan wile playing games gets noisy which bothers me a little, but speaker placement and sound quality does really great job to remove the fan noise. It’s a great product !!

Good power for the price. The CPU runs fairly cool. It would have been nice if the USB-C port was thunderbolt, but the HDMI output drives a 3440 x 1440 @60 Hz monitor just fine. Some complain that the keyboard backlighting is difficult to see in well-lit rooms. In that case, you can turn off the backlighting and the key caps are easy to read.

While a little pricey you really get what you pay for. The new 4th generation ryzen 9 processor is fabulous and the rtx 2060 is like a match made in heaven. The parts pull so little power from the laptop that the battery lasts 10 hours!! Thats absurd its such a good pairing. The laptop does not stutter at all in even the most demanding games. This laptop is well worth the 1449 dollar asking price.

This laptop has exceeded my expectations. With the ryzen chip it’s super fast. With a ryzen 9 and a 2060 GPU it does get a little warm during gaming sessions, but that is to be expected with such a small form factor and it being a laptop it’s just in its nature. There hasn’t been a game I’ve came across that I haven’t been able to play on Max settings and get 60 FPS. 10/10 recommend

This is a very fast laptop. All games run butter smooth. Doubles up as gaming and regular work laptop. It has lot of ports and connectivity options. Not bad battery life. Cons - Keyboard backlight definitely needs redesigned, was it tested at all? same goes with the finger printer scanner... it does not work most of the times, I have finally disabled it. Overall, I love the laptop.

This computer is a great size and since it is an asus rpog laptop, it is sure to keep going for a long time. That said, I had some security issues on it (no fault of asus or Best Buy) and it stopped working well shortly after I got it. Luckily Justin and Michael at the Dublin store took a look and since I have the extra geek squad total tech package, they said they would handle it. The work that had to be done goes above and beyond what most Best Buy’s offer and since Michael was the one who spoke to me, he made sure to keep it under his name so that it would be fixed correctly Best Buy all in all has really come thru for me over and over and many of the staff at the Pleasant Hill Ca (Karina, Amber, The Geek Squad, Jason, just to name a few are all amazing) and the Dublin store Manager Justin and Michael as well as Aaron are all really exemplary and their team work and pride in what they do shows. I really hate supporting businesses that have teams of people who seem to be suffering or hearing on the news the practices that the other big box guys have to keep afloat. Best Buy is always really pleasant, as the people there seem to really enjoy being there, especially the staff at Pleasant Hill. Thank you guys for all your help through out this!

I love my recent purchase of this laptop! Alot of power when I record music using my DAW on my laptop. When I have used the DAW the system is far from being overused. The GPU is the same way. I liked the fact that Asus makes this laptop all about performance rather than bells and whistles! Smart. Best Buy had a sale price of 1,199.00. Great price , Great laptop.

There is no better option in the market right now for pure CPU performance (especially for the price) than the top of the line ryzen CPUs. This GPU is very good, but not the highest end. In general, this is a very power and fantastic machine and the price can't be beat. Using it as a work / play laptop this is perfect. Only real downside is the lack of webcam (I mean.. come on..)

Blue screen of death (BSOD) started happening after around 9 days of use, I had updated to the latest version of windows. The issues with this laptop are: 1.) Screen will go black - only comes back on if you restart. 2.) BSOD when hardware acceleration is used in most any software. 3.) BSOD when computer is coming out of hibernation. 4.) ASUS Tech support suggests you reset the laptop to factory settings - this does nothing, I tried. There are a bunch of forums that post potential fixes for many of these problems - but if you're dropping over 1K on a laptop, I'd expect the components to be compatible, which its obvious they're not. A review of system events will reveal multiple CRITICAL errors occurring with threads, WLAN components, and hibernation process. The only tech support ASUS provides outside of factory reset is to direct you to this website: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1042499/ -> which instructs you to roll back driver versions.... something that you shouldn't have to do with a high end gaming laptop...

I've had this laptop for a few months now and it has served me well. I am a student but I also like to use it to play games so it is nice to have a laptop that can do both. In terms of battery I can get from 10 hours with minimal running in the background, and when it comes to gaming it performs well in all the games I play. Overall, this is a really good no compromise laptop.

I Love this laptop!! works well and very fast. I was debating between two laptops and I'm glad I chose this one. I had one problem- the laptop was heating up and did a loud noise but now it doesn't do that anymore after I got some help. I hope it won't happen again. It doesn't have a camera nor memory card reader:-( Asus customer service is very good, they helped me a lot. Enjoy:-)
