Our laptops are a little behind in time and an upgrade is a must. My husband chose this laptop because he believed it is has the best specs for our use and he likes the brand. The one we got was without the fancy $500 lights on the cover. Fast startup and amazing for gaming though we use it for both work and play. When my husband bought it for us it comes with Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Webroot Internet Security, the latter not used as it is only for 6 months. What we didn't realize is it does not come with certain buttons like Home, End, Page Up, Page Down and Insert. He used alternative ways to quickly get them for us but at the end of the day we can do without them. I read through reviews to find that there is a small issue with sudden dark screen and I was just waiting for that to happen. I held onto the original packaging at that time just in case. Few days into it, we faced that and we resolved it quickly. Everything has been great. It's been over 3 months now and we really love our laptops, taking care of business and getting things done!

Unreal performance in a portable package. It can get hot when gaming so best to go with external monitors (no issues with any AAA titles on 1080p laptop screen and 2K on external LG and Gigabyte monitors). I got the 2060 with 1080p screen when it was sale for around $1100, excellent value.

This laptop has delivered above and beyond my expectations. It runs a bit hot, but what do you expect from one of only a few laptops running the monster Ryzen 9 and RTX 2060 Max-Q? I look forward to many years of high-speed gaming with this beast.

My primary laptop prior to the G14 was the ROG Strix 2, which I wasn't super thrilled about carrying to and from college after my original ASUS laptop couldn't be fixed. However, ASUS changed my mind with their products after I received this laptop. To keep the review short and sweet, I really love this laptop because it is light and fast paired with a fantastic battery life. I get about 10 hours while using Eclipse, visual studio, and Opera with several tabs open simultaneously. My primary use is college and software development and this laptop is perfect for it. I haven't had issues with the fingerprint scanner and works on the 1st try about 90% of the time. My complaints are minor but are related to the build of the machine itself like the uneven and awful backlighting in the keyboard that makes it near impossible to see the keys when on, so I leave the lighting off at all times. The headphone jack is a bit creaky and it seems a little loose. The AC charging port is also a bit loose and the charging cable likes to slowly wiggle out if it's moved at all. I've also had some issues with my screen going black and having to restart the machine or it will flash black randomly throughout use, it's a bit strange. The laptops touchpad is significantly better than other touchpads I've used but sometimes it goes a bit crazy depending on where you click the pad at. Overall, I highly recommended the ASUS G14 especially for the price. It's fast, light, has a long battery life, and decent storage (although it is NOT UPGRADABLE from my understanding, except 1 ram stick) for a device in this price range. The screen is amazing and the sound is great.

it was good. til it wasn't. I did experience flickering screen and it was fine except now half the screen is flickering black and I haven't even had it for 3 years. for how much it was I had expected it to last at least 5 years.

I’ve had this laptop for about 7 months now and it still performs like brand new. I like how it’s able to handle a lot of the recent games at high settings in such a small form factor. The specs will definitely last me for awhile.

I love this laptop. It’s very responsive and the processor/NVIDIA Graphic combination is a killer. I don’t like the fact that it only has 16GB of RAM, but that’s all I need for personal computing for now. There’s always the option to upgrade later. Overall, a great computer.

I have had this laptop for about 10 months now and I could not be happier with my purchase. It is everything they say it is and more. I can play any pc game on near max setting without worrying about throttling, and all the while this is a super portable laptop!

This thing is a beast, it is more powerful than my DUAL xeon desktop. It can run any game I throw at it and with a usbC to display port connected to the DP port I can use my oculus rift s anywhere I want. Only gripe is I wish the keyboard was RGB and more tactile. Wish more laptops had this CPU.

Absolutely stunning. I love the form factor, but the performance is what really stands out. Ryzen 9 and 2060 combine to make common tasks and games rewarding and fluid. Overall package is well worth the cost. Fans can ramp up noticeably when gaming. But I wear headphones, so no problem for me.

The Ryzen processor is fast, the GeForce RTX is suitable for gaming (I'm not a huge gamer, but I haven't had any issues with it so far), and overall I'm very pleased with it. Some reviewers complained about the fan, which is almost always on, but it's barely noticeable to me, even in quiet environments.

I can't recommend this enough. If you're looking for a do it all laptop that's probable and has stellar battery, boom. You found it. It's a joy to use everything I jump on it whether it's gaming or productivity stuff for work (thanks COVID). Only gripe is no webcam but whatever. I'll survive.

This product is off the charts as many reviews have said. It's an amazing laptop for the size and what's packed inside. Only downside is when it runs heavy work loads which will amp the fan noise. But overall it is top notch for the prize.

Best gaming laptop on the market for the price! Does get pretty hot running games like 7 days to die that's fully online, around 86 to 90 degrees c but a simple thermal take laptop cooler fixed that no problem. It runs every game I've thrown at it on ultra with at least 40 fps very happy with it

Everything is perfect for this laptop within the price. Powerful CPU and GPU make everything fast and smooth. However, it still has two drawbacks for the laptop. First, no front camera. You need to purchase another camera to solve the issue. Second, sometimes keyboard is hot when you Play a game.

This laptop is amazing. When I went into bestbuy looking for a decently priced laptop I came across this and oh boy let me tell you I did not know it would be this strong almost feels as if I was using my desktop this thing has a ryzen 9 cpu and it is blazing fast. Does everything I need to do with video editing to playing video games this thing flies and the rtx looks great on games with the rtx 2060. I also haven't noticed any crazy hot temps when playing demanding games with all settings on ultra. The ips display looks great and runs smoothly when games can reach the 120fps.

Not only has this laptop run incredible since starting it up, my games look incredible, everything runs smooth, I even have my school research/papers on it and it runs like a dream. Definatly worth the investment. Note: get a cooling pad, gets a little warm but nothing serious. Just never know.

My son has been saving his money for a gaming computer and this one did not disappoint. It’s super fast so it keeps up with his games. He added his previous mouse and keyboard. The 2 things that are bothersome are: no webcam and the power cord is on the left(why?). Other than that he loves it!!

Had this one for a little over a year now, it's my first gaming computer so I don't know much about them but it seems to handle really well. I've downloaded several pretty large games on it now and have yet to have any issues with storage or anything like that. My one issue with this computer is that as soon as you plug it in to charge the fan switches to turbo and the whole thing starts getting crazy hot to the point that I've nearly burnt myself on the keyboard before. If you leave it off while it charges its fine, but the battery only a charge for a little while depending on what you're doing - if its just general internet browsing it'll hold for a good few hours, but if you run any program no matter how small, it'll only hold for about an hour. I've bought a cooling pad for it so hopefully that helps some, but other than that it seems to be a very good laptop.

I exchanged the hp omen 2020 for this device. The aesthetics and performance are far beyond what I was expecting. I initially exchanged for this laptop due to it being far easier to carry around with me compared to the hp omen. It even outperforms the machine while being around the same price!
