Speed and sound of an F/A-18 Super Hornet!
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super fast, rock solid laptop. Stock OS makes the fans sound like jet engines, but there are easy workarounds for throttling the fans. Everyone who sees the laptop will ask how it performs. It screams...literally and figuratively.

Worth the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Light, durable, portable and powerful. This laptop doesn't cheap out on anything and the only bad thing is that it's pretty loud when playing games, but that's an okay tradeoff because of how good it runs and how good its cooling is.

Best future proof laptop hands down.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is amazing how good laptops have gotten in the past few years. This laptop is no exception. Usually a laptop can only have two things out of the list: good battery, slim design, great performance but this laptop has got it all and more.

Very Good Gaming for Such a Small Package
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros : Is a POWER-HOUSE in a small package. Runs VR quite well. High-demand non VR games on Ultra settings just fine. Sleek design - super thin for what it's packing and reasonably priced, too! Cons: Well..NOT QUITE VR Ready... Took me a week to get VR going on a PC that says "VR-Ready". Doesn't tell you that to make use of the G-Force NVidia graphics card you have to use the mini display port - otherwise defaults to stock AMD. I had to get an HDMI-Mini connector. Gets Super Hot: Like - burn your hands on the bottom hot. If it's running a high-demand game - make sure that the laptop is open and not just closed sitting under the monitor like I did. Will auto-shut off if gets too hot. Finger Print Security is just garbage. Rarely gets my finger print on the firs try.

Bar Set
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer was remarkably fast. Played games with no problem and compact. For the price, and size there are little to no computers that can compare.

Super Powerful for it's price and size
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are a few trade-offs. The backlight could be better, reminds me of an older laptop but not an issue for my use. No webcam - I never use one anyway. Loud fans - Knew this going in and not really possible to make a silent laptop this powerful in this size. All in all the computer is great so far I look forward to pushing it more over the coming weeks.

Great 14" gaming laptop - Just ran to hot
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this laptop open box but I had to return it the next day. The laptop ran everything fine but the temps were far to warm for my comfort. The CPU in Black Desert Online and World of Tanks would break the 100c mark. The GPU never exceeded 70c. Due to the CPUs temp, the bottom of the laptop was almost untouchable. The fans were obnoxious. It is possible this was why the laptop was returned in the first place. The reviews seem to be very good - mine may have been a lemon Even with the extreme CPU temps - the ryzen cpu is no joke. Very very responsive and a well built laptop. Would be willing to purchase NEW at some point

Fantastic portable workhorse
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a portable workhorse this has been for me. I have done video editing and processing, audio recording and light gaming (Overwatch & World of Warcraft). It has powered through with no issues. There seems to be a few different models I have the one with AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS, 16GB ram, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q, Full HD 120hz screen. The only real negative is that it doesn't have a built in webcam. I'm not sure why it was left off, it seems even the cheapest of tablets and laptops all come with some type of webcam.I don't use webcam often and I have a usb logitech webcam so it wasn't a deal breaker for me, but would certainly be nice to not have to travel with another item that could have easily been built in and also deal with the usb cable and mounting the camera.

Good gaming laptop that's able to handle plenty ga
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's good at running stuff, the computer just runs hot when doing anything that's mid or higher graphics. Hasn't been a problem for me but definitely would not ever actually use it in the lap if you are gonna game and not just surf the web

Hard to beat in its class

Hard to beat for the price. Only downside is the fans can get a bit loud depending on use.

Perfect blend of power and portability
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great laptop for those looking for a small form factor gaming laptop. For context i came from an MSI GS65 stealth gaming laptop and even though it was a thin and light, its 15.6" screen size was still more cumbersome, when it came to portability, than I liked. Couple that with poor battery life and it brought me towards looking for something that suited my needs a bit better. Had my eyes on this machine for awhile and after catching an open box model on sale i jumped at the opportunity. This Laptop does everything i need it to, it has the gaming horsepower to run pretty much anything at the 1080p screen resolution and is more than capable of pushing esport titles to the 120hz refresh rate as well. The small form factor is great for when i wish to travel with it or use it at home but away from my desk and will make it a much better laptop for college when i start later this year. The battery life is also quite good, with it lasting far longer away from the wall than any previous laptop, gaming or otherwise, Ive had. Though it has fallen short of the 10 hours advertised most of the time. The fingerprint reader is convenient and works well enough, though the caching to allow for automatic entry into windows upon a single press to the power button is somewhat hit or miss. The design of the laptop is another plus, it feels premium and like it could withstand some punishment. On that topic the keyboard is also a plus as it is probably the best laptop keyboard Ive used aside from the ones shipped on Lenovo devices. Though the keyboard backlight is white only, not a big deal for me, and is kind of patchy across the keyboard. The track pad is similarly performant with a nice glass surface and the only real con i have regarding it is the somewhat smaller size. An understandable concession given the size of the laptop, at least in my opinion. As for some cons, the first thing that comes to mind is the temperature of the keyboard deck when gaming. Now this has been mentioned in some of the other reviews that i had seen before purchasing so i had an idea going in but it definitely gets toasty. Id say its pretty similar to other laptops in terms of the edges near the keyboard but the keys themselves get hotter than any other laptop Ive used. After a multi hour gaming session even touching the "R" key to reload was uncomfortable. Not a deal breaker for me as the form factor trade off is worthwhile for me personally but do keep this in mind. There is also no webcam on this laptop, this isn't a con for me personally but may impact you and it would be nice to have at least even if i don't need one as much as others may. Theres not much bloatware on the machine, it will come with the Asus armoury crate software for selecting the mode of the computer and thats pretty much it. My unit did not come with any antivirus or any other similarly annoying software which was a nice surprise. One last thing i want to mention, that ive saved for last due to it being kind of a neutral point, is fan noise. I run the laptop in either Silent, when away from the wall, or Performance, when gaming, and the fan noise is not terrible for either. In performance id say they ramp up somewhat early but the noise itself is a bit more quiet and less annoying overall than other gaming laptops Ive used. Though as with any, headphones would be ideal when the fans are going full tilt. In Silent, the fans are basically inaudible, but interestingly are nearly always on. Even when causally browsing the web the fans are moving fast enough that i can feel the vibrations from them through the chassis. Not necessarily a negative but something worth noting i believe. I have not used the turbo mode preset which runs the components at a higher frequency and maxes out the fans but from other reviews ive watched it seems like the performance gained is not worth the noticeable jump in fan speed. Overall i would highly recommend this machine for the right price. At its normal asking price of $1350 i feel its too closely priced to the newer 3060/ryzen 5000 model (Going for $1500) and would save the extra $150 to get the extra power of that machine. However for the frequent sale price of $1150, or less, i think it provides great value for a portable machine with more CPU power than any Intel powered device in this price range. For some extra context, here are the other gaming laptops i have used in the past few years that i weighed this one against with some of my points -Acer Predator Helios 300 -MSI GS65 Stealth -HP Pavilion Gaming Overall for my needs it easily outclasses all of those devices as a complete package and, once again, i would highly recommend it to everyone when on sale or its newer variant if going for full price.

Amazing in almost every way
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer is light and fast and looks amazing! I was very impressed with the way my games looked on the computer. The only thing I was underwhelmed with sad the volume. It doesn't go up very loud however, that is a very miniscule issue.

Great purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs way better than I thought it would. Fans can get a little loud when gaming at high frame rates but a headset easily fixes that issue. I wish Ram was more easily expandable. Screen looks great. Awesome laptop.

Good laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a great laptop! Plays the games at high settings and has good FPS. Only problem is the aggressive boost from the cpu, makes it really hot. There’s a workaround for it also, so that helps. Overall, I dig it.
