I think the most impressive thing currently about this device is the size, its design is clean, sober, simple and elegant, the material with which it is made feels of a very good quality not like cheap plastic, in white color (which I have) it looks nice keeping in mind that a large part of gaming laptops come in black. The presentation impressed me since this product has been given the greatest attention to the smallest detail, the way in which since you open the box it seems that the same laptop reveals itself and is shown as a masterpiece, just as it is. A very basic, powerful and slim charger, something according to the design of the laptop itself, as well as the option of charging it with a usb-c cable, a port that can be used to charge your phone if you need it. The theme of the webcam is something that in my opinion does not deserve much attention, I think it is important that it should be included in most laptops, but when it comes to quality we cannot deny the fact that most people or streamers would prefer to go out and buy a camera for stream or just for video calls. For the above I think that sacrificing a webcam for performance, which in the end is one of the most important factors, was worth it. It is not necessary to emphasize the specifications that are already written in the product description, but it is important to mention that the synergy between the Ryzen 9 processor, the 16gb ram and the RTX2060 graphics card, give the player a more immersive gaming experience. , without interruptions or overheating. The latest thanks to its powerful cooling system that despite the noise it may generate is very effective, even playing games that need several gb of storage. The fluidity of the processing of this device is supported and complemented by a 14 ”screen with a resolution 1080 to 120hz of a fresh rate that makes the graphics very vivid, personally I have found the experience very pleasant and comfortable with this screen. Despite the fact that most like to dive into their favorite games and even wear headsets for comfort and convenience, Asus is pleased with a fairly decent sound that works well in small or regular rooms. I could say in summary that this gaming laptop is one of Asus feats that at the same time that it builds good and better products, it also makes good collaborations with companies that enrich their products that many of us like to enjoy. This laptop is faster than my desktop with a Core7. Its beautiful and really powerful.

While this does not have the largest of displays it accomplished what I need it for. My tower PC was having some issues so I bought this to hook up to and be able to still play games. I have it contacted to my 32" monitor and it runs great. A bit limited on USB plugs ports but it has Bluetooth so I run a BT mouse with it. I can also take it with me if I travel and it is not too bulky.

The best you can buy for portability speed raw power and gaming. Nothing else comes close.

This is a long awaited review. What can you go wrong with this? Asus knocked this one out of the gate. This "gaming" notebook is the benchmark for all thin higher performance notebook. The form factor is perfect. Great to travel with. Insane battery life. However, just know what are the trade offs (perf vs portability). And, if you game, there's really no reason to play with a 14" native display. Furthermore, the display is no good for gaming, ghosting like crazy. But, if you are not gaming on the native display, and use this as a high performance work computer that needs a powerful nvidia GPU (although at a lower perf than the thicker ROGs), this is it. Very happy with this one knowing what I need. Repeat, battery life is INSANE. But, if you truely want performance, and don't need to be super thin, there are other insane high performance gaming notebooks from Best Buy. For 2022, if you want thin, I want to try the 2022 Asus M16 or the 2022 Triton 300SE if I were to stick with 14". I also have the 2022 G14. However, it wasn't worth the price to get AA. Sorry Radeon.

Amazing gaming laptop! I have been looking at a few places for a decent machine for a while now and stumbled across this one a few months ago. I’ve been watching it since then debating about getting it, well I finally did and now am wishing I would have bought it sooner. This is such a great computer, it’s not the top end machine everyone wants but it’s the best mid range machine money can buy!

Great graphics, speed, and multi-tasking. 2 usb-c ports and enough power to support gaming and high density workflow. Also it looks like a regular person’s laptop, so you can use it for said work professionally, instead of looking like you’re carrying nuclear codes on you. Screen is a bit darker than I’d like, other than that nothing but amazing things to say

This is a great value compared to the competition. The screen is crystal clear, it has 16gb of RAM, and the Ryzen 9 has no Intel competition at this price point. 8 cores with 16 logical processors allows for a great experience in multitasking. I have not noticed any bloatware installed on the laptop. The ASUS software stays out of the way for the most part and just adds a better experience.

I wanted to wait to write this review after I’ve had time to fully setup and use this laptop. Now that I have I can honestly say I am very happy with my purchase, I knew what I was getting and what hardware was used ie the ryzen 9 4800hs and nvidia 2060 max-Q and was still beyond surprised how this beautiful sleek laptop blew past all my expectations. You will see a lot of negative reviews from the under keyboard lighting to the finger print scanner not working 100% of the time; starting with the finger print scanner an update went out a week or so ago and I have had absolutely no issues since before the update it was about a 70% success rate on first attempt, as for the lighted keys my work laptop is a HP Elitebook G7 similar price (G14 generally comes in for less) running ryzen 7 and the lighting on the G14 is better and cleaner even though the HP has similar silver cover but black keys (note this is subjective). The only thing I wish Asus had done was provided 2 ram slots instead of soldering 8gb to the motherboard but this was made clear well before the purchase and I accepted this when purchased as I could still upgrade ram capacity if needed. As for thermals I have yet to see my cpu or gpu raise over 82° (Note I game on a hard surface but no external cooling). Coming to a close this laptop is a power house, and currently is in a class of its in size.

Coupled with the Nvidia RTX 2060-MQ GPU and 16GB of DDR4 3200mhz ram, you will be sure to play silky smooth games for hours. For your storage needs you are set with the 1TB NVMe SSD installed. The 14" IPS 100% SRGB screen is a pleasure to look at with its bright and vibrant colors. A unique feature of the ROG series of laptops is that when the screen is open it will lift up the keyboard to provide better cooling and typing angle. The 4 speaker sound system built in to this laptop is bar none the best I have heard. Deep bass, vibrant mids and crystal clear highs accented with Dolby Atmos, you will be sure to have a fantastic audio experience. The one drawback on this laptop however is there is no built in webcam. In todays age of remote work and virtual meetings, its sure is missed. You can however attach an external webcam though. It would be nicer if it was included. Overall I can highly recommend this laptop for the gaming enthusiast's out there looking for a light yet powerful gaming laptop.

I am not a serious gamer. My games are usually limited to GTA and some COD. Mainly us it for school and to run solidworks and stuff! No issues so far. The keyboard gets hot on playing GTA V but that's something i dont do 24x7, so no issues there. Love the overall purchase! My previous 15inch laptop feels like a brick after using this. Very lightweight and portable! Can't beat the price for the specs!

Man this thing is nutty powerful. Make sure you update the bios through the My Asus app that comes on the laptop when you get it. It increased my timespy scores drastically. They went from 7000 to 7800. Gpu boosts much better after update. Most of the reviewers have not done this and they are short selling this laptop short. It is much better than some are giving it credit for.

I enjoyed this laptop for the few weeks I had it. Wonderful build quality and specs, would have been a keeper. My only issues was the speakers kept blowing out randomly and it got way too hot. I know recent drivers and newer models have fixed this, so take this as a grain of salt as well. Highly recommend the laptop.

Very fast laptop. A ton of power packed into a small, easy to carry form factor.

Works well for my business applications and casual gaming. It doesn’t have a built-in video camera, but I can add one later if needed. Like most laptops in 2021, it doesn’t have a cd/dvd drive but all of my software is downloadable via the internet anyway. So far, it can run Office 365 and games without any issues. It’s a comfortable size. I added a wireless mouse for ease of use.
