Runs good, maxed out settings gets really hot above the keyboard.

I had to exchange for another G14 due to defects, but this second one has been fantastic. I highly recommend disabling turbo boost in most scenarios as you won't need it for gaming. The temps do get high as 100C if you dont disable boost so I don't think its advisable for the longevity of the laptop.

I was not expecting the laptop to look this great! Finally a gaming laptop that actually runs games and that can be used in public for everyday things. I was worried that it would not last on battery long since I am still in school, but let me tell you I was wrong. I am not regretting this buy at all.

I’ve been using this little guy for a couple months now, and it’s honestly really great! Even with the Ryzen 5 series chips and an Nvidia 30 series chips coming out for machines, I don’t regret my decision. Performance is perfect for what I need, the speakers are fantastic (better than my 2015 MacBook Pro), and the build quality is great. Some people claim you can get 10hrs of battery on this... yeah not happening for me, even thought I’ve done all the tweaks they tell me. More like 4 hrs with mixed use. The reason for 4 stars is because I think I have an issue with my trackpad. The feel of it is great, but sometimes when I click, the mouse moves away from what I’m trying to click. At first I thought it was just me, but it happens a few times every day, typically when I click toward the middle of the trackpad. It can get really irritating because I could be trying to click on something small and I can’t because the cursor is moving away from it. I’ll just have to click down on another part of the trackpad in order for it to work. It doesn’t happen often, and o use a mouse for the most part now, but I may talk to Asus about it if I think it’s bad enough. If this thing pops even lower in price in the future, it’s a great buy, even with the new hardware available.

Pro: 16 ram. It does run your games well. Cons: Heat, after running games for 3-5 hours. Your laptop get hot. The keyboard burns your fingers. Sound, not really loud. When I play GTA5, I had to turn the sound to max 100 to able to hear it. Performance change though time, It runs very well during first two months, then I experienced a decline in performance. If you are a dedicated gamer, go for gaming desktop. I bought this gaming laptop just help me to get through this pandemic. I thought a laptop would be a better option for me, because I can use it for other purposes after the COV is over and stop playing games. But this gaming laptop does not function like a good gaming pc according to my experience and knowledge. I guess all gaming laptops are like this. So go for gaming desktop if you can.

Good laptop overall. Looks very nice and clean but also got the gaming look to it. Only part I did not like was the way the keyboard was designed. the color scheme on the keyboard was just bad. I don't care much for LGB lighting but this could of used some just to make the keyboard look a bit better. I wouldn't have minded paying extra for it. I used this for work video editing and it is great. the 2060 definitely is powerful. I am also an avid gamer and the Ryzen 9 is just not the best when it comes to that even though it has great productivity processing power. The one thing that bugs me the most is the cooling. this probably has the worst cooling design I have seem. It has heat coming out of it at all directions. Not only does the keyboard get very hot just after a hour of gaming, they exhaust vents are on both sides. I either have to not use a mouse or place my mouse far way from the laptop so my hand doesn't get burned. 5/5 for productivity 4/5 for appearance 4/5 gaming performance 3/5 overall use

This laptop is a beast. It can handle multitasking with ease. It runs games super smoothly. The audio is amazing. I was close to not getting it because of the prize but it was totally worth it.

I got in early and got the white one with the Ryzen 9 and RTX 2060 Max-Q, and it can run everything on Ultra graphics settings with ease. Yes, the fan is loud. Yes, the backlights on keys are dim. Do I care? No, because I'm getting framerates through the roof and slaying enemies while wearing headphones and using an external keyboard. I also started using this computer for work, and noticed a GIANT difference in loading time in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop) over my 13" Macbook Pro. What can I say, I love this thing. HAPPY GAMING, GAMERS.

It's super powerful! I wont get into details because you can already see the specs, but it is even more powerful than my tower pc. It's silent! When I was about to turn it on for the first time, I didn't knew where to look to know if it was turning on, turns out it is so silent that if it didn't had that led indicator and because of the screen showing the ROG logo animation, I wouldn't had noticed that it was turning on. REALLY FAST! It completely boots in less than 5 and it's completely ready to use since te moment you see the windows login window. CHEAP FOR THE PRICE! Overall, checking how it develops, the screen, the fingerprint scanner, the antiglare screen and everything in general, this laptop is one of the most powerful ones in the market, what makes it cheap for the price. There's still a lot to say about this laptop, but I think that you get the point, it's a 10/10 for me.

I bought this for my wife in an attempt to get her into World of Warcraft, which sort of worked. Everything runs quickly and smoothly, and there have been no system or FPS issues at all running the game at moderate settings. She has mostly been using this for classwork, which also works amazingly. Everything loads quickly and there are no issues with any programs we have ran thus far.

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is one of the best laptops that you can buy. It has the best performance per pound in any laptop. And this model with the Ryzen 9 is the most powerful laptop in it's class. There are a couple tweaks that are recommended to do when you first buy this laptop, which you can find on it's subreddit r/zephyrusg14. But overall, it's a great value and performance laptop.

I've been using this laptop for a while now, and it has treated me awesomely! I use it for everything from editing to gaming, and I can run it on highest settings when I game (which is better than most people's computers). However, it gets a bit slow when you open multiple windows, but it's not that much of a problem.

I've only had the computer for a few hours but so far it is great, and I haven't had any issues. Additionally, the computer is surprisingly light and and it loads and downloads very quickly. I will be primarily using this computer for 3D models and rendering for college and I think it will preform very well.

This thing is incredibly powerful, especially for its light weight. They keyboard's OK for gaming (not the best). I took a star off because it only has 2 USB-A ports and no SD card reader. I know those things going before I purchased but it would have been a 5 star if it had those. Not much bloatware. Average physical build quality. Overall a pretty solid buy.

The best laptop available. Do not hesitate to buy if you find in stock and have the money. The Ryzen 9 with the RTX 2060 and 120 hz screen in particular is the best model. Great for engineering, gaming, and just about anything you throw at it. WARNING: Not a huge deal, but it doesn't come with a webcam, so make sure to pick one up if you're using this for school or work.
