Picked this up recently, really glad that I did. The performance is solid and the quality is incredible. The trackpack is nice and big, akin to that of a MacBook. The ability to trickle charge via USB-C is a nice touch if you forget your barrel charger. I would highly recommend this laptop. Its super light, can't even tell I basically have a workstation in my bag.

This is an overall beast. Please do your research before purchasing this device. There are tons of videos reviewing this laptop. Overall body and screen are both amazing. The only negatives of this computer are: - No Webcam - The backlight on the keyboard is dim - the base model does not have the lights on the back - the fingerprint sensor is bad, even for laptop standards. Even with these negatives, I would recommend this laptop to a friend any day. The processor is the best out on the market right now. The design is stunning and the keyboard has a nice space theme to it. I would grade it a 9.4/10

Fast, Light, Great build quality. This thing is is probably the lightest gaming laptop that I've personally used. I currently use another Asus laptop as my main laptop when traveling and it weighs a ton with its included power brick. I was shocked at how small the included power brick is with this model. I've only been using it for a few hours but I'm 100% going to use this as my main laptop from now on. Keyboard is nice although the backlighting seems to be a little off on some keys but it's not bad. The keyboard is nice to type on comparable to my other Asus laptop. All in all a pretty good laptop with pretty good internals for the price. If you travel a lot and need a light but powerful laptop to game on this is the one, I highly recommend this laptop.

Blazing fast and great for gaming, but I ran into very hot thermals and a short battery capacity. If a strictly-gaming laptop is what you want, and you’re ok with mostly using it plugged in, there’s few better than this. If you’re looking for an all in one package that’ll give you portability as well as the gaming power, you might be a little disappointed.

Excellent Laptop... But the keyboard has a lot of pitfalls. One is the backlight and the worst one is for me for me, is the keys setup, keys for text navigation are missing and even there is no function key way to access them, like 'end' 'home', 'page up and 'page down', etc. One thing to notice is typing feel good, but still have work to be more useful.

Almost everything about this laptop is perfect. It’s got some pretty hefty specs packed into such a small form factor. I’m used to gaming laptops being humongous, heavy beasts, so it was rather refreshing that it’s actually portable. It’s run every game I’ve thrown at it. There’s absolutely no complaints there. It’s battery life, even, is astonishing. I don’t even have to charge it throughout the day unless I’m gaming. The only downfalls I can even think of are the lack of a built in webcam, but I don’t even remember the last time I used one on my previous device. Another one would be the lack of the number pad for some games, but there’s way to work around that. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend. It’s the best laptop I’ve owned.

Great laptop had almost no complaints but I ended up trading it in for a razer blade 15 because when it was on sale the price was almost the same. If you like the idea of a smaller gaming laptop, this is the one for you. Only downside was a lot of tinkering was needed to make it preform at its best but I enjoy that kind of thing so it was not a problem for me.

Great laptop. Moved from an older Lenovo Legion to this and saw the immediate improvements in: - Overall Speed. Very fast to boot, all applications open at an instant. I can run multiple production tools in the background (Unity, FL Studio) and have yet to have the laptop hang up on me. - Thermals. I don't actually use this laptop for gaming, just some programs that can cause high CPU/GPU use (Blender, FL Studio, Unity, Virtualization). That being said, this laptop stays very cool. - Display. My Lenovo Legion laptop had very washed out colors, and this laptop is very bright with sharp colors. - Power efficiency. Battery lasts quite a bit longer than I would have honestly expected. The few downsides for this laptop: - The keyboard. You do get a tactile click similar to mechanical keyboards (not as loud). However, keys occasionally double click or don't register until you've specifically pushed it in to the activation point. - Keyboard lighting. The lights are present but something about them feels off. They don't shine through the individual keys as much as you would exppect. Key double-clicked there. Overall, very happy with this but if you want a more reliable keyboard, you might just want to run a separate mechanical keyboard.

Overall the Laptop works great. Amazing speeds and does almost everything I need or want it to. The only problem I am having, is when playing simple games, my GPU is running extremely hot. My fans kick on 100% and it is still running high. To the point It will burn my hand touching the bottom of the laptop.

This laptop is excellent for gaming, programming, edit photo/videos or for any high compute type tasks. I bought this laptop after trying out Windows surface pro which annoyed me with constant fan sound even when machine is idle. Asus just delivered an Ace in the laptop market through this model.

Good solid machine, although the battery life is not good.

Great graphics. Runs fast. Battery life is less than to be expected. Trying to get initial battery replaced. Took too long to find a way to email support. Chat does have the selection I need so I cannot proceed. I have not had much time to use it but wow what a difference when making a zoom call. You can see a ton of details in the video.

Ok, this laptop is as good as they say. However, I was hoping I'd like it more. I knew what I was buying, but I'm kinda picky about my electronics. I still had to try it out and see if it is a laptop I'd want to keep. The AMD 4900 CPU, the 2060 GPU, the 120hz refresh rate, the track pad, the speakers, and the overall look of the device are great, especially for the price. Runs smoothly. I just couldn't get used to the keyboard and smaller 14" screen. Back lightning on the keyboard is terrible. There's not enough contrast between it and the silver color of the keyboard. A darker keyboard might have been better. The keyboard lettering isn't easy to see on it's own and the keys felt so so when typing. The screen looks pretty good but I thought it could be brighter. Really, I just need a 15 or 17" screen, possibly with 4K (I know it would be at 60hz). I didn't get to run any demanding PC games on it, just Portal 2. There are plenty of other gaming or creative laptops out there, but I wish AMD would get in gear and put more of their CPUs in laptops. Not much configuration when buying new AMD laptops. Where's the version with the LED lid? This is the only one so far that has any variation of the 4900 CPU. I say go ahead and buy it. It's just not my cup of herbal tea.

Well-built, lightweight powerhouse of a laptop with great battery life. I have a small 65W PD charger that I use to charge the laptop and it works well. I edited the registry to disable turbo boost to reduce the amount of the time the fan would spin. The backlight on the keys is horrible, but everything else is great. For video chats, I use a Logitech webcam.

This laptop is amazing. I have never had a laptop that can keep up (and maybe outperform) a gaming desktop. Looks great, feels great. Pay attention to the setup guides found on Reddit; they helped the initial setup immensely. Several of my friends are jealous now. Thanks Asus!
