ASUS ROG Zephyrus
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop, best portable laptop form factor I've ever had. I do feel the screen is not big enough though for daily gaming and when i am not traveling the laptop mostly sits in my bag. However, its a gaming beast and I like her!

great screen, fast processor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife loves her new gaming laptop, it does get warm, but compared to her ASUS TUF laptop the screen is excellent and she is thrilled with it. I like the size and told her it could replace my laptop if she wanted to keep the TUF book, but she saw the screen and said I was out of luck.

Great portable Gaming Laptop, but runs way hot
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a good laptop, but I ultimately ended up returning this. Don't get me wrong, the portability and performance is great. And for many customers, this is almost a perfect product... The Ryzen 9 is a beast, but therein lies the problem. It runs pretty hot in such a small laptop. It needs a cooling pad if you're playing a real AAA game, as well as some advanced programming tweaks to keep the temps at a reasonable level... Even still, the keyboard gets really hot... The backlighting on the keyboard in the gray model is pretty faint and bad, and the upgradability isn't as good as some other laptops (only one SSD slot, one 8g ram soldered on). The Ryzen 9 processor is way more powerful than the 2060 maxQ, so that's a bit of a mismatch... BUT, when it's on sale for $1200, it's a huge value and hard to pass up. At $1450, I feel like I'd rather go up a couple hundred and get a better product.

Blown away by this little powerhouse!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop to replace my aging desktop PC and I have been blown away since booting this machine up for the first time! I use this machine literally everyday, it is both my work and home machine and I have yet to run into a task it can't handle.

great laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Laptop for the price I paid, the only bad thing is that the ram is upgradable to 24gb, but there is only one slot so you have to get a 24gb chip which i have not been able to find anywhere. So, upgradable is not upgradable if they don’t stock (make?) the chip for it.

Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop for my son. So far, its been a good choice. Lightning fast and can accommodate a lot of games. No, there is no webcam but he uses his phone to talk to people via webcam anyway. He really likes the laptop. No problems with it so far.

NO WEBCAM INCLUDED
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish it said in bold letters THIS LAPTOP DOES NOT HAVE A WEBCAM, because I just spent another $25 to buy one. Factor that into the cost of this computer if a webcam is something you need! Otherwise, for the week or so I've been using it, it's been great.

ASUS nailed it
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an exceptional laptop. It has the best features and performance packed into a 14” laptop I’ve ever seen. The cooling (on max fan speed) is amazing and keeps the laptop running at reasonable temps when gaming (around 75 degrees gpu and 85 degrees cpu).

Great laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is an absolute beast. Battery life is crazy good too. I upgraded from a ROG Strix gl502 and I couldn't be happier with the decision. If you'reconsidering getting the G14, do it. You won't be disappointed.

All around gaming/work laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good all-around laptop. Gaming-wise, This is only good for light gaming. if you're looking to play a lot of triple A games, this is not it. It's not to say it won't run those games but you won't be able to get the best out of those games. For work-related, this can get you by. Video-editing and audio editing is fairly decent. Clerical and other data entry work is also fine. The sleek white look is very pleasing to the eyes, though this is not the dot-matrix lid model. A couple of caveats, there are pre-installed app that's really buggy. One of those is the app "MyAsus". this is needed for a couple laptop features to function like backlit keyboard. some bugs are just minor annoyance, it could be a big deal or not for some people. Another caveat (though personal) is the battery. it gets drained fast when your gaming. all in all, For the price, this an okay option if your looking into decent gaming and work.

Amazing laptops with a few flaws don't mind
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop seems to be very good at the start with amazing speakers and very portable. It does have a few disadvantages wherein the turbo mode for gaming can only be activated while plugged in and while gaming on battery, the charge doesn't stay for long. Maybe a couple of hours at its best. The color gradient seems to be a bit off during one of those modes, (I think it's windows or silent as compared to Performance where its better) A few hiccups here and there in terms of slowing down but I think, constantly updating the bios will help with that eventhough I will make sure to get it checked with the GeekSquad. Other than that, heating has never been an issue as I played Warzone for 4 hours straight and the temperature was not an issue at all. But a more advanced game could definitely play a role on this which I'm yet to see. Overall, if this laptop comes around to anywhere as $1000 it is an amazing buy!!!

Great so far
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems great so far (only two days in); I don't see the issue with the keyboard backlight. It's not super bright but in darkish rooms it's definitely bright enough. Will update this review if anything changes but not there is a reward from Asus for leaving a review

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only one way to discribe. Simply amazing. I do a lot of work with 3d designs and this machine barely breaks a sweat on even the biggest drawing I have. Really great machine. My only complaint is it not a 15 inch screen. Battery life I get 6-8 hours real world usage.

Quality laptop, comfortable typing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't had the laptop long, but so far it's excellent. It was easy to set it all up, even for this Luddite. I only give it four stars because I haven't had a chance to try out all of its features. I'm a writer, and the keyboard is very comfortable for typing.

Fast sleek computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great computer for the money. Got it while on sale for $1149 Pros: Ryzen 9 with Nvidia 2060 1 TB SSD Cons No Ethernet Momentarily saw the BSOD but the laptop restarted. This happened within 20 days of purchase. Hope not to see this again.
