This thing is a beast! Recommend for anyone looking for a small gaming laptop.

This laptop has performed excellently and never given me any problems since I've had it. As far as specs/performance and price ratio, I think it's a really good buy.

This laptop is great. I can play most of the game at high settings and the performance never drops.

great performance, great computer only minor thing is have keyboard back lighting off or up all the way (you can't really see the letters on the function keys with backlight on) so you can see the keys

It’s a workhorse. Light. Powerful. Quality feel, great battery life. Easy to upgrade the ram. 1 dimm available. Now I’m working with 24GB. I can see why everyone raves about this laptop. Runs pretty quiet

My husband loved this so much we went and bought a second one for our son within a few days. They are using this for MMO gaming and it has great graphics, it runs smoothly and it's been perfect for them.

Beastly performance and quality. I previously had an ancient laptop and this laptop is a much needed investment. I enjoy the gaming qualities that this laptop offers. I'm glad to make ROG a choice

I purchased this laptop because I had started to get into PC gaming and while the HP Pavilion 15 I had was quite nice, I wanted to upgrade so many components that it seemed selling it and upgrading to the g14 would be a better option the long run. I was not disappointed. Easily the best laptop i have owned in my entire life. Pros: -lightweight and balanced -excellent screen quality -great UI -Aesthetically Pleasing -SO GOSH DANG POWERFUL Cons: -NO RGB on this model -No ethernet port -No extra accessories or bonuses for a device this expensive, not even a cleaning cloth - A glowing logo kinda woulda been cool but as you can see these are all minor cons 10/10 would recommend.

Honestly this is the best laptop I have ever purchased! It gets school work done, I’m able to watch movies, and it can handle AAA video game, at this price point this computer can’t be beat

The price to performance ratio of this laptop is amazing. It’s the perfect gift for those who love to game. Despite the lack of a camera, it’s great for students due to its long battery life.

All the hype for this laptop is true. The specs are awesome!!! The new Ryzen 9 4000 Series mobile CPU, a nVidia RTX2060 Max-Q GPU, 16GB of memory and 1TB SSD in a 14" formfactor for less than $1500???? Amazing bang for the buck. It is a workhorse when gaming. Great framerates but there is a cost... the fan noise is pretty loud and it get's really hot. I'd recommend using a laptop cooler go help with the temps. My only negative is that it doesn't come with an integral camera. For that I have to tether a USB webcam (good luck finding those right now) or use another device to video chat. It would make a great work laptop with the subdued white color... with the exception of the missing webcam. It's a steal at under $1500.

I did a lot of searching before coming across this laptop and this one was clearly the best. The price to performance just can't be beat and it performs great! Great build quality all around. No complaints here

Extremely Fast. Needs more ports like all Laptops. Great deal if you get it on sale Website says warranty is less than a year. so check if you buy. ASUS will try to upsell a longer warranty.

I really wanted to like this laptop - I really did. A solid, decently priced 14" gaming machine with the newest components from ASUS. Seemed like a dream. Instead, what I have had is a screen that will not function correctly, issues of internal rattling in the speaker vent that drives me crazy (putting it on it's side fixes the issues HA), awful battery life and performance optimization, a virtually useless backlight to the keyboard & a host of other issues. All of these problems, from only 2.5 weeks of having it. At $1500, my most disappointing tech purchase I have ever made :( I now have to wade through hours of (notoriously bad) customer support from ASUS, and go back to the Best Buy I bought it from, hours away, during a pandemic. C'mon ASUS, this is absurd.

Love this laptop, replaced my aged gaming tower and basic business laptop. Fan noise can be a little much on your lap but seeing as it's pushing all those cores and video it doesn't bother me at all.

Bought this after having a macbook for the past 10 years. My previous laptop was old and very slow. This laptop is great as I can complete whatever work I have as well as game to my hearts content.

The amd ryzen 9 is a beast!!! Intel should be very worried as the ice lake chip in my previous laptop was a joke compared to this one! i highly recommend!

First it is not a boring look laptop Then I like its small size and powerful computing ability

I didn't give the review till I'd used this laptop for a month or two. The reason for that is I can know better after using it for a while. So after I use this laptop for two month, I don't think this laptop is such a bargain any more. First of all, it doesn't come with a front camera. I didn't know that because I think with advanced technology, it's super normal that all laptop come with front camera. Laptop that without front camera is really something that outdated nowadays. Second, the battery runs out really fast. I basically need to charge it a few times a day if I let the laptop sleep when I don't use it. Third, when the screen goes to protection model, it doesn't allow me to enter the pin to access the desktop sometimes, no matter I moved the mouse or type on the keyboard. I might need to turn of the laptop and restart again. For new laptop and it has these disadvantages is really frustrating. Given the reasons above, I really don't recommend to buy laptop from Best buy. I bought this laptop $1150 before tax. It's not a good deal. Beside, every time I bought things from Bestbuy and after I got home, I regretted. The products are just not worth for the prices I paid.

Great gaming laptop at the price point. Build quality is top notch, the packaging was solid, and the overall performance is wonderful for a small laptop. I have a few complaints. The major complaint is the laptop doesn't charge via USB-C. I also wish it had more USB-C ports. Lastly I would've thought the performance would be slightly better. Running Doom (2016) at Ultra or High quality only runs at 45-ish frames per second. My old gaming PC with an Nvidia 1070 could run Doom (2016) at 4k and the highest quality and would stay around 70 frames per second. Not a major complaint but worth mentioning. Beyond that it's a great laptop.
