This laptop while being great on paper and having a great exterior is plagued by a lot of software malfunctions. The laptop screen randomly just turns off and can only be fixed with a reset. While gaming the laptop gets extremely hot to the touch (hot enough when touching for a second can burn you) but can be by playing around with settings hidden deep in the software. The battery life can be described as above average at best. I have had to go to reddit for help with the software to help disable some programs and update drivers. These things combined make me question my purchase and if they continue to persist I may return the device For spending a grand and a half this may not be the way to go for the average joes who don't want to bother playing with settings, having to update firmware to fix glitches, and having to deal with mediocre software. I tried to like this device i really have, the laptop is built well with little to no flex in the laptop. The keyboard offers a nice typing experience and the ryzen 9 is very powerful while also being very efficient. The GPU 2060 max q can easily hit 120 on most games on low to medium. The display is clear and get fairly bright. Overall this would be a 4.5 to 5 without the bugs. Keep in mind that I am not that well educated in the technology scene so take everything I say with a grain of salt. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a very powerful device not afraid to mess around with it. This device may be fine and fixed by the time you are reading this but as of today 5/22/2020 they are still currently bothering me.

The laptop is great. The only issue I have is since it was one of the first models, the fans rattle, but it performs great.

Bought it without seeing it in person and I could not be happier. The design is beautiful, and it has all the power you need.

This laptop is insane. the AMD processor and the 2060 Max Q is a potent duo. The ram could be faster, but 3200 does a decent job for a laptop. The processor shreds anything available by intel at this point. The 2060 Video card is good for a laptop with a 1080p screen and in a 14" size. I have a gaming desktop at home, this isn't my only computer, but the portability and power in this package are impossible to beat.

Hands down the best laptop you can buy currently. Best value for the money. Battery life, gaming, school, office, anything really.

Amazing power inside a compact design. Pros Runs fast, can handle a majority of Triple A Titles at high or max settings. Cons Gets hot over long gaming sessions, white lit keyboard can be hard to see if bright rooms.

Sleek looking lil laptop with serious power. Runs anything thrown at it. I have it hooked up to a 4K Samsung monitor and it’s smooth.

This laptop is a unicorn. It had all my check marks for a machine. I upgraded the RAM to max capacity. The machine fly's and runs great.

its a great device after you tune down boost and reconfigure the power settings so the battery doesnt die. idk why this isnt standard but it will throttle at 80 degrees if u dont turn this feature off. there are several youtube videos on how to do it. after that your device will drain less power and shouldnt reach above 65 degrees C on games if you have configured gpu right. Oh yea dont forget to make the integrated graphics default instead of your graphics card or else your battery will struggle.

My wife needed an upgrade from her old and slow laptop. She's extremely happy with this one. Top speed, no lag, no slow bootup time.

I love this laptop. It runs everything smoothly. Games are fantastic. Programs run well. I haven't found anything it can not do.

Not going to get to into a serious review considering you can find them all over here and YouTube. I am very happy with it. I just play ESO and do productivity stuff. It does get hot, but stays under the thresh-hold of playability, did I mention it gets hot. Not into overclocking but might try and tweak it to suppress the heat on this thing. I picked it up just shy of $1300 after taxes, but the price is back up. I'm sure they'll have another sale. Overall it's a great laptop. Do your research and you decide.

its a great laptop the keyboard has some dim spots but I read the newer release ones dont have that problem other than that works great.

I'll start with the cons: - There are no page up/down, home, or end keys. Deal-breaker if you edit text. - 2060 doesn't officially support DLSS. - 1165g7 Xe architecture one-two'd Radeon's lunch. Now the pros: - 4900HS is 7.5x faster than my 2014 laptop. - The speakers sound spacious. Better than average low mids. - The screen. A very nice pure white. physical uniformity. - Asus software gives option of extending battery lifespan by charging no higher than 60%. Good stuff.

Great for gaming. Graphics is great, everything runs extremely smoothly. Just a bit of a loud fan but having headphones on erases that.

This laptop is a mini-beast! I love the duality of productivity and gaming on the go. It has a great battery life as well!

I had to replace my old Alienware. I did a lot of research and this had great reviews (performing against more expensive laptops) so I bought it. This is an amazing laptop in a little package, particularly for the money. Super fast. Nice graphics. I can set to ultra in games (even second life, black desert online, etc). True the lit keyboard is not the greatest during the day, but I just shut the light off. I’m very pleased with this purchase and have been recommending it to everyone.
