Battery wouldn't charge over a certain percentage. I did all the troubleshooting known to man. Then the machine started only running on the AC adapter - not recognizing the battery and randomly the screen would go black and the fans would spin up full blast. I did several driver removal/reinstalls. I did a recovery erase/install 3 times. Nothing made a difference. I did not want to return it because it is such a great machine. Buying one of these from ANY vendor is luck of the draw to get one that isn't faulty. I got my money back. I really wanted this to work out. If you do not have any of these issues this machine is worth every penny.

An RTX 2060 with 16GB memory and 1TB SSD at this price point is fantastic and to top it off this is in a 14" laptop. For me, 14" has been the ideal laptop size for my eyes while balancing its portability. Yet, I also didn't want to compromise on the CPU, GPU, and memory when looking for a 14" laptop. The G14 was perfect for what I was looking for and it has not disappointed after over a year of use.

Looked at everything from 17" to 13". Wanted a higher performance, great screen for Photoshop, yet quiet and portable computer so I finally settled on this laptop. It's quiet, doesn't run hot whether I am doing Blender 3D or Photoshop or just watching a Netflix show. Battery life is average , about the same as my former Macbook Pro and with the 14" screen I can't tell the difference from the 15.3. Solid buy.

The 14" screen is the perfect size between 13 and 15+ inchers. I use the laptop mostly for music recording and production (Ableton Live 10) and it handles everything with ease. Just what I needed! The only issue I'm having is the Windows Touch ID feature that just doesn't want to work. It works about 5% of the time and is somewhat annoying, but entering a pin to unlock the device is not too big of a deal for me so not THAT bad.
