Customers appreciate the ROG Zephyrus G14's impressive performance, long battery life, and its compact, lightweight design, making it highly portable. Many also praise the build quality and powerful GPU. However, some users express concerns regarding the device's tendency to overheat, the keyboard backlight, and the noticeable fan noise. The lack of a webcam is another frequently cited drawback.

Overly impressed. 10/10 4 month review. Visiting r/zephyrusG14 on Reddit.com is personally recommended for set up. Lots of good people waiting to help you out.
I got this Laptop for getting into video editing and music production as well as keeping up with the newest gaming releases and catching up with some past gaming releases. The main reasons are mostly for high end gaming emulation and portability. This absolutely delivers, man. It took some set up with the disabling boost option and a little wonkyness with AMD and ASUS software in the early days of the release but there were instructions online for that. r/zephyrusG14 was instrumental in making this laptop as useful as it was. I HIGHLY recommend checking out that subreddit on Reddit if you have issues with the machine and before you buy it. Without their help in the early days it was unfortunately likely to have a subpar experience and I imagine some buyers might have been unhappy. For the most part I don't think those issues are around as much anymore and general updates will get you to glory. I am incredibly happy with my purchase after setting every thing up to my liking.
Light weight yet sturdy at like 3.5 pounds for effortless portability, stupidly long battery life, absolutely horrible keyboard lighting but i don't even care. Being a fan of JRPG video games, I am able to catch up with some older titles through emulation with the INCREDIBLE CPU this has as well as keeping up with current games with the nothing to laugh at dGPU from Nvidia. I'm so happy.
For downsides, no webcam...(free software for the camera on my expensive smartphone gives me 1080 resolution and a warm phone so, whatever.) I hear the response time with the screen leaves a little to be desired. Not noticeable 99.9% of the time for me and my slow rpg games really. i don't even notice it with Risk of Rain 2. I, however, am absolutely not playing games where I would notice it like with fast paced FPS on a competitive level. Even then I hear you really have to be looking for it. Heat, I would say boost off helps with lowering temps to around 80c and lower for demanding games, even though with boost enabled it still doesn't throttle at an average of 95 to 100c for somewhat demanding games MAXED OUT. Its weird accepting that as nominal temps but hey! They say this is an acceptable range. So that's not really a complaint I guess. Playing Control (a personally highly recommended and slightly above average resource demanding video game) I am able to get 60-70 FPS with every setting maxed with raytracing doing its thing. At its most demanding sections, frame rates dip to 45fps at the absolute lowest which wasn't often at all. I still don't really believe it, it's incredible for this tiny little thing. Couldn't believe it the whole playthrough. Kept checking the settings... Temps with boost left on was 95 and like 70s with it off. Keyboard lighting makes it look like a cheap toy I usually have it off... Not a big deal at all.

The good:
As far as hardware itself goes this laptop is top notch. The 120hz screen looks absolutely divine (although small). The performance is insanely impressive for the small form factor, and the battery and construction rival non gaming more premium laptops.
The bad:
For me the greatest downfall of this laptop has been the linux support. Hopefully it'll keep improving, but even with the the 5.7 linux kernel it's borderline unusable due to the driver support.
The keyboard backlighting is the shoddiest backlighting I've ever seen in my life. I'm a proficient touch typist so I keep the backlighting turned off anyway. Other than the backlighting the keyboard itself is the best keyboard I've ever typed on (Even beating all the mechanical keyboards I've tried.)
One thing I haven't heard anyone mention is the oversized trackpad. Unfortunately they made the track pad just a tad bit too big so it'll occasionally pick up your wrist when you're typing if your wrists are close together.
Port selection is another weakness for this laptop. No ethernet, sd card, or camera. (It's worth being aware of if you rely on those.)
The USB ports it does come with are all on the right hand side which can sometimes get in the way playing with a external mouse.
Unfortunately this model doesn't come with the "anime matrix" display. The only way to get that is to get that is to buy the 4k 60hz model. Unfortunately 4k is nothing more than marketing on laptops. The 4k and anime display is in no way worth giving up 120hz.
TL;DR:
I'm not trying to be overly critical about this laptop, but if you're considering purchasing one you should be aware of it's flaws. (Although IMO the price/performance ratio more than makes up for them though). Overall I'm very happy with the laptop and would purchase it again given the option.

I just want to mention that I did exchange this laptop but not because I didn't enjoy using but it was not for me.
I was looking to upgrade from my HP envy x360 to something with a little more beef and this thing seemed right especially for the sale price at around $1200 and it really was (at the moment).
I was looking forward to getting the newer G15 with the 3070 but missed out when contemplating how to purchase it. So I went with this one instead for a couple of days and I enjoyed using it despite the small form factor.
The laptop was surprisingly thin for what it can do was able to manage the thermals pretty well, however it does get really loud and warm to the touch, sometimes a little too warm for my liking. It got better when I undervolted the CPU with the sacrifice of performance but just slightly (you do have to go into the bios to do so).
The performance on this thing is really good for WHAT you get. I was able to play most triple A games at high to very high and get respectable frame rates, but don't expect to play with ray tracing on as that will impact the performance severely, unless you want to play on lower settings and under 60 fps.
One of my favorite things about the laptop is the ASUS hub where you are able to control the fans and customize settings for different situations which not many of the laptops do, including my HP Omen that I settled for eventually. This laptop can be so quiet and perfect for that student studying in the library (when that is allowed again). Plus, the small form factor is perfect to slip into most bags so this the perfect student laptop in my opinion.
The negatives of the machine at least for me is that due to having a Ryzen processor, I can't charge using thunderbolt which makes a difference when trying to limit the cables I bring around. Also, as much as I love the small factor, I've grew accustomed to the 15.6in screen and size, it felt that I was running out of room on-screen and was getting typing errors for the different layout (I could have gotten used to it so no knock there). Lastly, unfortunately this laptop only has room for one expandable ram slot with a max of 24.
All in all, I wish I didn't have to take it back because I enjoyed using it. The negatives should take anything away from this great laptop and anyone who buys it and knows what they're getting will be happy. I definitely would recommend this to anyone.

Amazing laptop for the price (got on sale for $1200)
Pros:
-The ryzen 9 is honestly a beast. Even with the dGPU turned off this thing blazes through every day productivity tasks. (Even when I have 100 tabs open lmao) .
-The battery life is godly considering the specs. At idle the battery bar tells me i have over 10 hours of battery life! (make sure to set integrated graphics in nvidia control panel otherwise the dGPU will eat up battery running in the background, you can manually add which programs will use the graphics card)
- The fans stay quiet for the most part. I didnt notice too much noise on "silent mode" but once you switch to performance this thing can get VERY loud, but stays cool which is a plus.
Cons:
I knocked off a star for 3 reasons:
1.) No webcam. Honestly this is the biggest set back, I get that the webcam isnt used that much anymore but spoiler alert... people still need one. Yeah you can buy external but then thats an extra thing to lug around. Dont know what Asus was hoping to gain out of this... most laptop integrated webcams are dirt cheap. If you're not a student or work over zoom meetings then this wont matter to you.
2.) Missing certain input readers. This laptop only has the bare minimum inputs (USB, HDMI, USB-C, Audio jack). Thats it.
If you're like me and use SD cards or need an ethernet port then youll have to buy a dongle. Again not a big deal if you dont use those. But if you do, once again it adds an additional item to carry around. (so now I gotta fit a webcam, dongle, and my power adapter into my bag.)
3.) No home or end keys. This one really got me annoyed. Yes you can use hotkeys to make a script to turn your arrow keys into home and end.....but why make the user do that.... it costs ASUS literally nothing to add a home and end function. In fact its standard in literally every laptop and even netbooks/chromebooks. Very odd they didnt spend an extra 2 minutes to code that in but again, not a huge deal breaker.
Overall:
Amazing laptop with great specs for the price. Wouldve been perfect had they eliminated the need for additional accessories and just built them in. This laptop retails for $1449. Had they added the webcam + sd card reader this laptop wouldve probably been ~$1500 which really isnt that much more to have some standard features, and wouldve gotten a 5 star review.

You cannot beat the CPU/GPU combo at this price point under 3.7 lbs with such a sleek profile and solid heat and noise mitigiation. Battery life is great all thing considered, the fingerprint reader works blazing fast. The keyboard backlighting and lack of sd card reader are minor drawbacks but the lightweight, robust frame and hardware more than make up for it. Highly recommend.

This thing is incredible. This is my first ever "gaming laptop" and I for those who have the same criteria that I have, here was my list of things I wanted:
- Small, portable, can take to class/work due to it's easy portability and small scale functioning.
- I didn't want a laptop that looks like it came out of an alien spaceship. Seriously, some of the runner ups to this guy just look obscene (Acer Predator Helios 300, Dell Inspiron, etc.). The ROG looks and feels like a premium briefcase, but on the inside it's loaded with good stuff!
- Good enough memory and internal storage. 1tb SSD is obviously not a ton, but it's no laughing stock either. If your like me who likes to hand select games, you can easily squeeze a few good games on here and still keep the business side of your computer intact (I personally like using cloud storage for most of my files so this makes it even easier to maintain my computer's storage). 16GB RAM will EASILY do the job for any heavy strain. With incredible refresh rates and 2.9 Ghz processor speed, I can play Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order on it's highest setting for hours and I'm getting some amazing thermal performance!
- The screen lifts up without having to hold the base with my other hand. Seriously, its basically one hand accessibility.
- No deck/keyboard flex. This goes along with the premium build, it feels like it was made with love. Compared to other laptops that are in the $2000-$2500 range, I'm really impressed with the build of this one. RTX 2060 is base level ray tracing but nonetheless is a chip that will last a while. Titanfall 2 and RTX Minecraft look amazing.
The only real con to this computer is there is no built in webcam. I was able to buy one online separately, and Asus does offer a designed webcam made for these laptops, so you can always buy one from them for $100. The other thing I'll mention is you might want to disable the performance boost on this laptop, otherwise you'll get some CPU temps in the high 80's, which is okay, but not great for longevity. Check out Bob of All Trades review on YouTube for this fix, it's really simple and you won't notice a difference in performance, but your temps will definitely drop!
I bought this laptop because it was in my budget, I wanted something I could play games on, and edit using Adobe creative cloud, and it's great for all purposes. If you can adjust to a 14 inch screen, this is your guy! Go and buy it!

The New Benchmark in Laptop Power and Portability
|
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Right out of the gate, I just want to say that Asus and AMD really killed it with this laptop. It’s difficult to pack this much power and performance in a 14” chassis, but Asus delivered.
Unboxing and Design
Unboxing this laptop is truly an experience. As you lift the lid of the box, the cardboard base that the laptop sits on props up in a way that presents the laptop to you. Others have described this display as being like a Hallmark card and I think that’s super accurate. This first thing that hit me when I saw the G14 in person is that it’s disguised as a normal daily-use laptop. I personally really appreciate this. Whether you purchase the Eclipse Gray or Moonlight White version, it’s never going to scream “gamer.” The laptop has no intense neon color accents and is thin enough (0.7”) to support this disguise. The magnesium-aluminum alloy deck and aluminum lid are well constructed and machined precisely. The dot matrix design on the lid is beautiful with 6.536 holes that are CNC milled. These metal choices do well at resisting fingerprints and smudges. They also keep the weight down to a mere 3.64 pounds.
Port selection on this laptop is plenty adequate. To the left, you will find your 180W power input, HDMI 2.0b, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C with DisplayPort 1.4 and power input delivery, and a 3.5mm audio jack. To the right, you will find a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C (does not support power input), two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type As, and a Kingston lock.
Bootup
The power button on the G14 doubles as a fingerprint scanner. When you push this button to power up the laptop, the scanner captures your fingerprint and presents it to Windows once ready. This feature is intuitive and efficient, just like a smartphone. Bootup itself is extremely fast - probably the fastest bootup I’ve seen on a Windows laptop.
Screen
The lid of the G14 doubles as a lift with Asus’ ErgoLift hinges. This does two things - it lifts the keyboard making for a more ergonomic typing position and it also lifts the deck to provide space for air intake into the fans. The screen on my model is 1920x1080 with a 120 Hz refresh rate. While you can step down to a 1080p 60 Hz or up to a 1440p 60 Hz monitor, I think the 1080p 120 Hz version is best if you’re going to be using this laptop for gaming. 1080p resolution is plenty on a 14” device and that 120 Hz refresh rate is going to be mighty helpful while gaming. The screen to body ratio is 85% with thin bezels along the sides and top, with a pretty thick chin below. It has a matte finish to limit glare and is Pantone validated to ensure color quality.
Keyboard and Trackpad
The chiclet keyboard and trackpad work very well, in my opinion. The keys are quiet when pressed and key travel is fine. You’ll find hotkeys for volume, microphone mute, and Asus’ ROG Armoury Crate software. All keys are backlit with an adjustable white light. There is no numpad, but I wouldn’t expect it on a 14” laptop. The trackpad on this guy is standard in size and responsive.
Speakers
The G14 shines in speaker quality. With two Smart Amp woofers bouncing sound down off of your table and two tweeters directing sound at you, I think you’d be hard pressed to find another laptop of this size that can put out the audio quality that this machine does. Of course it isn’t party speaker level, but you get nice bass and crisp mids/ highs. I’m seriously impressed! The laptop also has a 3.5mm jack as I mentioned before, which is nice. You don’t have to reach for any dongles to convert your 3.5mm plug into USB C. Of course the laptop also has bluetooth for wireless headphone use.
Software, Hardware, and Performance
The G14 comes with Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. Armoury Crate is also already on the laptop and can be accessed via the hotkey mentioned previously. This software adjusts CPU, GPU, and fan speed settings to match the tasks you’re throwing at it. You can switch between Silent, Performance, Turbo, and Manual modes. Turbo can only be activated when plugged into power. Every time I game, I plug the computer in and switch it to Turbo for the best performance possible.
Hardware specs for my G14 are as follows:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS with 8 cores and 16 threads
Alternate model has AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS
GPU: NVIDEA GeForce RTX 2060 Max Q 65W with 6GB VRAM
Alternate model has NVIDEA GeForce RTX 1660Ti 60W with 6GB VRAM
16GB DDR4-3200 dual channel RAM
Up to 32GB
1TB NVME M.2 SSD
Alternate is 512GB
Intel WiFi 6
Bluetooth 5.0
4-cell Lithium Ion battery that can be charged via 180W power brick or USB C
Asus claims up to 9.5 hours of web browsing and 10.7 hours of video playback
With these specs, the G14 cut through everything I threw at it with ease and pumped out buttery-smooth graphics at high settings, minimum. Games that I have personally played on the G14 so far have been Call of Duty: Warzone, Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm, PUBG, XCOM 2, Factorio, and GTFO. Instead of me listing out FPS for games, I’d highly recommend watching Jarrod’s Tech on YouTube. He put the G14 through its paces and has benchmarks for the 20 games he threw at it. Link is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiv1USXl9PE. Considering the G14 was built for gaming, it also handles daily tasks like a champ. No issues with boatloads of tabs open, Word processing, or editing photo/ video content.
Is There Anything Not to Like?
It’s honestly quite hard to nitpick a laptop that looks this clean and performs so well in a 14” form factor. With that being said, I do have a couple of insignificant gripes.
Power port placement is a bit odd. Because it sits right in the middle on the left side of the deck, if your cable is draped toward you, it will block your HDMI, USB C, and 3.5mm ports. Though it can be a nuisance moving cables over one another, I think from an engineering perspective, it probably makes sense. This laptop has a lot of cooling components internally. The engineers likely didn’t have many options when placing the power port given the demand for cooling in order to protect hardware components from overheating.
Speaking of temperature, this laptop gets HOT. Even with 7 heat pipes, two efficient fans, and a raised deck due to it’s ErgoLift hinges, my laptop was consistently running at 81-84°C (177.8-183.2°F) while gaming. The cooling system drives hot air away from the WASD keys so it’s comfortable to game for long periods of time, but do NOT touch near the power button for long periods of time. You could absolutely burn yourself. I would highly recommend getting a cooling mat for this laptop.
While this laptop does have built-in microphones, it does not come with a built-in camera. Something to consider if you also want to use this device for streaming or video conferencing. Asus did develop a portable and attachable camera called the ROG GC21 specifically for this laptop, but it does come with an added cost.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I think the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is a monster device in a small, portable form factor. At just 14” and 3.64 pounds, you can game pretty much anywhere given this laptop’s specs. Despite a couple engineering qualms, I think this device is well worth the investment if you are a serious gamer and/or need power on the go.

I had been waiting for the best deal to pop up between three laptops; this one, an ASUS touch screen, and a high end MSI. Well my local Best Buy had this one as an open box in excellent condition and cut me a really good deal on the price.
I've had it for about 2 weeks now.
It had everything I was looking for. I LOVE the 14in screen. It's so compact, and light weight that I can handle taking it literally anywhere. I love the Ryzen 9 and GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q. The graphics on this thing are crazy wonderful against the 120Hz screen. It's hard to imagine anything looking any smoother. or sharper. I plan to update to a 32gb memory in the next few months, but the 16 is doing me well right now.
I haven't had a single usage issue with this laptop. I'ts ran perfectly smooth for me every time I boot it up. I couldn't ask for a better experience. It has handled every game (plus mods) I've thrown at it with ease.
If you read the rest of the reviews, there are three major things you see about this machine. 1) The speakers have a loud popping noise, 2) The internet card goes in and out and will sometimes not connect to the internet or break all together, 3) it gets HOT.
(there are obviously more issues in the reviews, but none I've experienced yet).
Those reviews are not wrong. However, 1) I've only heard the popping noise from the speakers 3 times. Granted, I don't play with sound often - but I have had my speaker noise on just so i could monitor it. 2) I've only had the internet not connect ONCE since I've had it. I've been on it every day, and utilizing the internet each day, only one day did I have to reconnect. 3) WOW, does it get HOT. True. I played a low end game for about 30 minutes the first day I had it and it was so hot that the keys started to get warm. I use a 5 fan pad that I got from Amazon, and it works literally perfect. No issues with heat while gaming with it. I don't use it when I'm just surfing the web/working on minor programs.
Overall, I give 4 stars because of those three issues. I don't get fancy with it, and I don't check my stats while gaming with it. It's incredibly sturdy, and the white looks ultra smooth.

This is the fastest laptop I’ve ever used! I bought it to replace a gaming desktop that I’d been using for a racing simulator running Assetto Corsa. I also had a laptop that I used for music production and will now be using this laptop for that purpose as well. You can’t beat the performance for the price. Build quality is phenomenal. This laptop has the best speakers I’ve heard in a laptop, the keyboard and trackpad both feel amazing. The magnesium alloy construction is very sturdy and has a very premium feel. The only down side for me is the keyboard backlighting against the silver keys makes them harder to read, so I typically leave the backlighting off or at low brightness. Also, the laptop can get very hot when the CPU is boosted on stock settings, but limiting the cpu to 3GHz lowers the temps by about 20°C and has no noticeable impact on gaming performance.

Look, if you need a laptop that can handle creativity that also has quite some gaming chops- look no further.
The Ryzen 9 4900HS is a beast. The fact I can take this anywhere without its (not too heavy) power brick and last 7-8 hours messing around in instrument and effect-heavy FL Studio projects is astounding. Gaming using the integrated Vega also keeps a lot of its battery life intact.
Don't expect the same battery life when gaming on the Max-Q though. The RTX 2060 can punch above its weight class when it comes to price/performance. Playing games like Yakuza: Like a Dragon, FFXIV, and Monster Hunter on its brilliant 120Hz display surprises me every time I launch those games. On battery, you'll get 1 hour, 2 tops.
The fact that this laptop is under 4 pounds shouldn't be discounted as well, making gaming extremely portable if you have a cheap laptop carrying case. (Since the brick itself is light, it's less of a hassle to bring it around.)
Lets talk a small bit about its other features. The keyboard feels proper, with a little bit of travel and quiet, 'stealthy' clicks. The keyboard backlight isn't bright and yet is more than effective even in sunlight (if you needed them on for wahtever reason). No, the keyboard isn't RGB.
The chasis is extremely well built, but i'm speaking mostly from little experience with other laptops. Most of my laptops have been Dells with plastic frames and creaky hinges, and a single Lenovo Chromebook whose frame was built out of aluminum.
Thermals are solid, especially under heavy load. You may see it peak at 90C when you're working in an area at room temp (again, under full load). I personally bought myself a rosewill laptop cooler to go with this, and it struggles to go beyond 75C when gaming.
As for cons...
to me, 4 USB ports is kind of lackluster, especially when 2 of them are USB-C's.
Other than that, I have had nothing but an enjoyable experience with this sleek piece of hardware.

After seeing that this laptop had the Ryzen 9 for $1500, I had to get it. This laptop is fast. It can run any game I've tried so far on max graphics settings, with no fps issues. The fan can be loud but I haven't had an issue with it as I mostly tune it out. I did end up purchasing a second monitor as well as a mouse and keyboard. If you are looking to game, you will probably want to do so as well. Don't get me wrong the screen on this laptop is nice, but I found it a little small for games. Otherwise, the screen is a perfect size if I want to take this anywhere. 1 TB SSD is the perfect amount of storage for me. I would recommend this laptop to anyone who is searching for something in the $1500 price range. Be aware that if you wish to purchase a complete set up (mouse, keyboard, monitor), it will probably cost a couple hundred dollars extra. This brings the grand total closer to $2000 than $1500 but if you are willing to spend the extra money it is well worth it. The materials the laptop is made of feel sturdy but lightweight. The design is sleek and looks good in any setting. The keyboard backlight is my only real complaint, but it hasn't caused me any issues so far so I guess it's not really an issue. This laptop delivers the power of a desktop in the portability of a laptop, what's not to love?

Checks most of my boxes for what I'm looking for in a laptop -- portability (lightweight, power efficient), solid capabilities (is that a Ryzen 9 I see? and discrete graphics woo), and a sturdy construction.
of course, not without some criticisms:
Keyboard backlight is horrendous、as is the keyboard itself, but it's not very fair of me since I'm comparing the feel to a nice set of ducky's.
Stock fancurves are tolerable; it's possible to make it silent at lower temperatures (i.e. <60c) via some direct calls to the controller APIs. There's a rust project on GitHub that does this. When things get going, they do get into the 40dB range -- though again, I'm comparing to super silent desktop machines. The keyboard also gets toasty when it's under heavy load, so a proper keyboard might be a good call if that sort of thing is going to be a regular occurrence.
All in all, very satisfied. My reasonable expectations were met and some even exceeded. My unreasonable expectations were not :^)

First, I haven't used this a ton, yet. I purchased this as a daily driver. I will do a little gaming, but not heavy. I'm replacing a 6.5 year old Surface Pro 3, and this machine predictably FLIES. It's not a fair comparison at all. The combination of size and power was too much for me to pass up.
Pros: Size, build quality, power.
Cons:
-No RJ45 connector (maybe difficult to engineer, though it's in the 15". This would have made the laptop almost perfect for me.)
-No Webcam (I knew this going in, and am totally good with it.
Built in cameras are convenient, but I often have an external plugged in anyway for a better angle.)
-Keyboard backlight/silver keys combination (I read about this as a con and it honestly hasn't bothered me at all so far. The light is enough to help me find whatever key I'm looking for.)
-Screen response time (Again, read about this before, people talking about ghosting with competitive gaming. I don't competitively game, but I can always hook up an external monitor to game if needed.)
Some people have reported dramatically less battery life than advertised. I haven't experienced it yet, but I haven't really measured. I usually have computers plugged in, and if they can go 3 hours at a coffee shop, I'll probably never notice if it's only good for 4.
This machine is a marvel of engineering. The AMD chips are so efficient, and allow for a GPU in such a small package. All of that at a price much lower than comparable machines.
I highly recommend this machine at the sale price, I mean, it won tons of awards this year, and still ends up on good sale. Win-win!

I usually never leave product reviews, but I'm doing this one because I looked at several reviews before I purchased this laptop. That being said I use this laptop primarily as an editing laptop for my content creation on YouTube. I have a dedicated Gaming PC that I built and needed something to edit videos on as my Gaming PC is located next to my sim racing cockpit. This little guy is the perfect solution. Sure the fans are a bit loud when she gets hot but that can be solved by going into the Advanced Power settings and changing the CPU power from Agressive to Disabled that will keep the temps down without hurting performance.
Now I use this with Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop and can tell you it handles it with ease while also being hooked into a second monitor. I'll list the pros down below.
Pros:
Screen is beautiful even though its small.
Light weight
design is cool and not too gamer like.
back light on keyboard works for me.
battery life is amazing
processor can handle most things you can throw at it
comes with RTX 2060 Max Q ( for GPU rendering in Adobe )
Cons:
Fans can be loud if you don't make adjustment listed above or when it gets hot.
finger print reader is kind of useless as it doesn't work to often
that's it for cons.
Again amazing laptop that beats a lot of the bigger boys in the game. Can't go wrong with this if you're looking for a portable video editing machine!!

This laptop is honestly amazing, with its fast gpu as well as cpu it can play most games with ease. The lack of any Webcam is a drawback though, especially since covid has led to online video calls becoming increasingly important. Even with all of this performance its incredibly lightweight with a decent battery life.

Bought for my wife who was mostly interested in it for being light weight and compact. I was interested for the new AMD Renoir Ryzen 9 CPU which really is amazing... Battery last a very long time and it really does have an impressive look and feel. Low heat and runs well in gaming when she does play something.
3 Downsides, the keyboard lighting is very bad... I am really surprised that they bothered to implement a half attempt at key lighting... either do it well or don't do it.
Fingerprint reader is iffy at best. Wife has opted to not use it... again, why do a half baked implementation? Either do it well or don't do it...
Fan is very load under medium load. Not a huge deal, but you definitely notice it.
