literally the best laptop money can buy you right now at rhe price anything comparable is $2,000-$4,000 best bang for the buck ram is upgradeable to 60 gig i believe new egf can do it for you or you can buy and do it yourself this machine is a beast!!!!

At all at first and amazing computer and then after a while it just got crappy. Like the main game that I play on this is Apex and for a while I was able to play it really good for about a month. And then after a month it keeps on shutting down because of graphics cards or because of lame things that make no sense. And I've done everything on the computer to fix it and it's still won't work. This computer's supposed to be the best computer it's supposed to have the best graphics out there but yet it cannot perform to the sense of playing a game. I am very upset with this computer if I knew that this would have such issues I would have not gotten it. If you're a big gamer and you think all these amazing things about this computer would make it an amazing computer it's a lie.

Damaged the display within the first few months. Decided to plug a keyboard mouse and monitor and run it like a desktop. After 16 months it died. Sent it to a repair guy and its dead.

From the packaging to turning on this laptop and i t oozed that premium feel. I have been looking forward to getting this laptop and i must say i am not disappointed. Looking forward to doing great things with this Laptop. I must say the speakers sound very great. The screen looks visually appealing. Thank you Asus

This had the specs I want for a developer mobile workstation. 8 core/16 threads! 16 GB RAM. I run VMware Workstation on it with as much VMs as I did on my desktop workstation. It's crazy how much power you can have know in a laptop form. So impressed with this I got one for an engineer at work, for work.

I got this for travel, light gaming, and killing time in hotel rooms. It actually runs new world as well as my desktop with a 2070. The battery life and screen size are the only down sides. My second trip for work i took a monitor with me, worked fantastically.

The laptop is super fast thanks to its amazing ryzen 9 4800hs processor. Display is nice with a little bit ghosting when gaming. Keyboard is excellent and ports selection is rich. Problems: Big QA issue. My left speaker rattles out of the box. I can stand it at the beginning, but it kept getting worse. It's especially annoying when listening to vocal-heavy music or speech. The left hinge on my unit is uneven. and left lid case is not straight, which left a small but noticable gap when closed. I hope ASUS fixed the QA issue and I'd like to buy again.

This is my first gaming laptop, but so far I am extremely impressed with the performance. I have had any issues with the heat but I would recommend getting a mouse instead of using the trackpad. The only thing I'm angry about is that I purchased it a week before it went on special. Could have saved $250.

Man, this thing just feels great. Sturdy design. great cooling with the built-in lid tilt. The crisp feel of when it turns on. This thing just came out but so far great.

Awesome, powerful, right out the box. Screen quality is outstanding. Runs cool. You can run a separate display and have the best of both worlds...a super fast gaming computer experience on your desktop LCD display and then unhook it and take it with you and enjoy it on the go. Win-win.

Bought it for my wife who plays some games, uses it for her crafts, and general use like movies and music. She loves it.

Bought this laptop to play PCVR games on my quest. Computer performs well in all specs but takes a lot of advanced know how or serious googling to the the settings just right. If you are playing anything on high settings, the advertised 10 hour battery life turns out to be about 2 hours.

Quick, responsive and hot. This is not for your lap laptop. I had it on my lap for an extended time and got a blister from the heat. But, its small, easily transported. The smaller screen you get used to.

This is a review after 18 months of ownership. I really wanted this laptop to be what all the reviews have been raving about, Powerful, well built, with long battery life. The battery management just isn't what it promises to be. I really tried to make it work, but at the end, it takes one new app update, or one driver, or OS update to upset the battery management and it becomes an unreliable battery hog that it is. I really can't take another suggestion, or a tweak. It's too bad because everything else about it is excellent. As long as you intend to keep it used plugged in, you will be fine and you will enjoy it. If you don't want to carry the brick around look elsewhere.

Runs extremely hot and within 30 mins of doing anything demanding gaming, 4K video, etc it starts to throttle down and performance suffers it’s a shame because other than that it really is quite a nice laptop.

It's almost perfect! What I wouldn't recommend is charging your computer while gaming. It will heat up really fast. Also, the battery doesn't last too long when you're gaming. Around 3 hours tops. Apart from that, I can't say anything negative. It's a beautiful and powerful gaming laptop.

So far so good! However “silent mode” isn’t really “silent.” You’ll still hear a slight hum of the fans whirling. It doesn’t bother me much but it may be a concern for those who want something truly “silent.” Great price and condition for an open box. Overall very happy with my purchase!
