this laptop has an excellent configuration, especially for the price. intel based laptops with similar configurations are about 500+ dollars more. the laptop is very light, and the fan is quiet. the screen is quite crisp. sound is great as well i am very happy with it so far

I didnt even think to check, its my fault but what lap top doesnt have a camera built in? how do you even survive without one these days, its been really a pain. does it work? sure, is it amazing, not really.

This laptop can do everything I need it to. This is my first gaming laptop and, hindsight being 20/20, I do wish I had purchased a laptop with a num pad. Overall I have been very pleased with my purchase. Lots of power in a small and portable package.

This laptop is great. Powerful. Sleek. Excellent quality. Specs are awesome, and the price is unbeatable. I wish it had more upgrade-ability, but it's nice for what you pay.

Haven't encountered too many problems. Starts up really quickly (less than a minute). Only disadvantage is the internet automatically disconnects if the computer automatically goes to sleep. Sound is good, but display sometimes looks off.

Gaming computer with sleek looks and fast performance. I can't explain how happy I am with this computer. It runs games very well on ultra settings. The only thing is it gets hot, but I have a laptop cooler to get it cool and it runs games in a very excellent way!

We bought this as a graduation gift for our son and knocked his socks off. Great quality and a really cool wow presentation as it lifts up when you open the box. This should hold its own with advancing technology for a good long while. I have no regrets buying this laptop.

Ordered this laptop based on online reviews (not just on Best Buy) and initially received a lemon. Best Buy customer service was fantastic and they switched it for a new laptop (the process was fast and easy). It's been one month and I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Best 14" gaming laptop, hands down! I needed a laptop that could travel and play games. Didn't want to lug a 16" super heavy laptop with me. My in game graphics are usually set to about 7/10 which is great for a laptop of this size. Plenty of RAM and HD space.

Whatever R&D dweeb decided to make a white laptop with white keys and a white backlight should be fired. It isn't like ASAUS doesn't make great products that can change backlight colors with AURA, its that this is just a bare bones edition of a fantastic laptop. Fixed backlight, no AniMe led's, Almist every laptop that claims to be a gamers laptop allows you to change the backlight color (Acer even gives you four zones for less money on the Predator Helios). Other than that I loved it. Very, very fast. Decent screen and refresh rate. Nice components. I really like moving from 15.6" to 14". I just can't get past keys that are very hard to see in a darkened room. BB please give us the Eclipse Gray!!

I purchased this laptop to continue the ability to play with my friends while i was moving. I no longer would have my desktop till i got a house. It was working just fine for maybe a week. Untill i started downloading the games off of Steam, is when i started to get blue, frozen and blacked out screens. I did all the driver and software checks, and nothing abnormal came out of it. I believe i must have gotten a rotten apple from the batch. Because i know of some people that has this exact laptop but they run fine.

I loved this laptop but some cons as well. One issue I found was overheating! Also unfortunate wish there was a 144hz screen with 1m/s response time. You can always connect it to an external monitor. Overall I do recommend it to a friend.

great gaming machine for the price, be sure to tweak the fan settings in custom settings. I ran into the issue where it would heat up and the fans not ramp up in time but changing to custom mode and setting fan curve fixed the issue.

Beast of a laptop. I bought this for business use and has done me well. It's a quiet laptop even when the fans kick on, it doesn't get too hot, and has one of the best feeling keyboards on a laptop that I've ever felt.

This laptop has been nothing but trouble. The screen went bad within a few months, only working when the laptop was plugged into a monitor. Geek Squad replaced the motherboard and a few weeks later the problem resurfaced. It runs VERY hot, so hot that it can and will burn you. Overall, a poorly designed laptop that is nothing but a desktop in a laptop form factor.

I have long waited for one gaming machine that can do everything. You can get gaming power at the expense of portability. You can buy a nice laptop but can only do worksheets. This one does not just strike a balance—it does well on all fronts. It is pretty laptop. I am 40 who appreciates games but do not want to be seen lugging around a fridge to the café. This laptop is gorgeously slim and reasonably-sized. The design of the white shell, matched with the aluminum base is very tasteful. The edges are subtly curved but the lines are crisp. The look is so modern and stylish, I will bring this to the boardroom. Now for something this pretty, it surprisingly packs a lot under the hood. Never mind the specs, I think it is a dream machine on paper—what matters is how it actually performs. Fortnite on Epic settings, 90FPS while farming, dropping 66FPS on a crazy Save The World packed 4-man. Forza Horizon 4 averages 95-100FPS on races, 65 on cut scenes and 48 on real world roaming; on ULTRA settings. Kingdom Come: Deliverance, highest settings with a steady 60FPS with the landscaping and nature flowing smooth as butter. Now these games, especially the last two, are very graphics-heavy. I think those alone will tell you, this is one heck of a machine. I also tried connecting an external monitor to the HDMI port as I played, no difference in performance—so far, very good. Here are some hits and misses to note: fingerprint sensor is very responsive, the keys are adequately spaced and the softness of the clicks are feels right to the touch. The keyboard lighting though is a little off—it is a little hard to see at a certain angle. The speakers are not that impressive either, it actually is a little soft. The fan is like any other gaming laptop’s, so that’s okay. While the battery, at full performance, unplugged lasts a little over 1.5 hours. It does not have a camera either. But think of it this way, we all use headsets or earphones, play plugged to the wall because we don’t want to lose power in the middle of a raid, and do not really rely on our laptop camera if we stream. So given all these, I think the best part of this laptop is the whole package. Sure, it is not the best in everything, but it hits the right buttons. Come to think of it, this laptop talks to me—it is exactly what I need. I do not need to pay more for high quality speakers or a battery that lasts 8 hours because that not how I play. This laptop knows how we all play. And we all know, it’s all about how we can keep going at the best framerates with the most true-to-life graphic settings, while we keep a stealthy pretty laptop because we don’t want to look like that person who sleeps on his mother’s couch. This is the laptop I have been waiting for. It is a beauty, and for sure it is also a beast!`

a sweet portable laptop that can play every AAA game on High Settings and some even on Ultra settings. Mostly over 60 FPS on games. 100 FPS in ESO. And 90 FPS on Cyberpunk 2077 with high settings with DLSS on Performance mode.

I hate Asus, I've had nothing but issues with laptops and gaming monitors. Their customer support chugs brown the stink eye I could not beat the price for what I got. Here's hoping I'm not stuck with another crap rog gaming laptop

Runs Stellaris on ultra beautifully (not that that's a max app, but whatever). Fast af. Miss the 17.6" screen of my 4-y/o ROG, but also awesome to see a gaming laptop so powerful regardless of size. Basically, it's the Demetrious Johnson of current laptops.

This was awesome at first, but it started having heat issues and the battery didn't last long. Long story short, I had to return this product. I decided to build my own desktop.
